  1. Why anyone would root for the Bengals today is a headscratcher. I’ll be rooting for a loss by Cinncy and KC every week remaining this season regardless of what team they are playing. My loyalty belongs to the Bills and anything that improves their playoff seeding!
  2. Tua had a solid game. The OC makes it easy for him to play to his strengths. Thought the Bills D was atrocious tonight . Frazier got outcoached, horrible tackling, lots of poor communications and the run D reared its ugly head YET again. However, Tua can’t do what Josh does. Very few can.
  3. What an emotional roller coaster of a game. Bills continue to be either hot or cold but have yet to play a complete game. Tons of moxy for turning the game around after the atrocious 3rd qtr and start of the fourth. What an environment! BillsMafia never disappoints! Really no other QB like Josh in the NFL. Not McDermott, Frazier or Dorsey best game. It’s obvious Dorsey is struggling to have any creativity with the O. Josh covers up so many deficiencies. Offensively….nice games by Josh, the entire receiver core and the RB’s. Major props to our OL in the 4th qtr when we were down by 9. Worried how dependent we are on Josh. Defensively…..not a good night at all. Tackling was just bad at times. Thankfully they stepped it up during the 4th qtr. Overall Tre’s best game since coming back. Expect more from Frazier! ST…..T Bass! Cam what were you thinking? Props to MIA, thought they outplayed us the vast majority of the game. 11-3 and moving on to Chicago. Is it too much to ask for a nice easy win on Christmas Eve? LETS GO BUFFALO!
  4. George Pickens, WR was a second round pick by Pitt. He’d look great in this offense. We went CB in rd 1 which was understandable based upon Tre and losing Levi. I like the Beasley signing but am worried everyone will just think he comes in and everything instantly clicks. Will be a great story if that happens but I also feel signing Smoke and Beasley won’t have the impact we all want. 100% want to be wrong!
  5. Hopeful Josh Downs, North Carolina WR, who would be a great slot receiver with speed, is there when we pick. Playmakers at WR and additions to the OL are a must. The miss on Cody Ford hurt as if they hit on it would have been an anchor at OG for many years.
  6. Regardless of the weather, I want to see the Bills play a solid game for all four quarters. Eliminate self inflicted mistakes (penalties, dropped passes and poor execution) and on D better initial tackling, getting off the field on 3rd down and getting after the QB.
  7. Hard to watch the Niners and wonder his impact if we would have traded for McCaffrey. He looks quick and would have been another weapon for the D to have to account for. Regardless, Beane needs to infuse playmakers at WR and RB along with strengthening the OL.
  8. I noticed on the Bills/Jets replay tonight Cook also missed a chip block with Brown that resulted in an easy sack when the Bills were at midfield. It’s the little things but they add up. Similar to when McKenzie dropped a pretty easy pass on 3rd and 5 that would have resulted in a first down. Instead they had to settle for a FG.
  9. Any questions to Frazier on how the D is consistently struggling to get stops on 3rd and long. It’s beyond maddening.
  10. Good catch, CIN will still win the division as they would have beaten Balt twice.
  11. Week 14 with four HUGE games remaining. If Bills beat MIA, they “should” do no worse than the 3 seed. If the Bills win out, they’ll finish 14-3 and everything goes thru Orchard Park with an extra week of rest. Here are my predictions. 1. Buffalo 14-3 Wins against MIA, CHI, CIN and NE 2. KC. 14-3 Wins against Hou, SEA, DEN and LVR 3. CIN. 13-4 Wins against TB, NE and BALT, Lose to the Bills 4. TN. 9-8 Wins against HOU and Jax, Lose to LAC and DAL 5. Balt. 12-5 Wins against CLE, ATL and Pitt, lose to Cinncy 6. LAC. 11-6 Wins against TN, Indy, LVR and Den 7. MIA. 10-7 Wins against GB and NE, lose to BUF and NYJ Thoughts? Anyone seeing it different? Obviously ALOT can change but beating MIA puts the Bills in a good position.
  12. Something else that hasn’t been brought up is our schedule compared to last year. ITS SIGNIFICANTLY HARDER. Outside of the Bears game every team when we played them has been in the thick of it. MIA, NYJ, DET all significantly improved from last year. If the Bills go on to beat MIA and Cinncy they will have beaten every playoff team except MN this year. Yes they need to tighten up a few things but when this team fires on all cylinders they can beat anyone. Last year we had the luxury of playing some bad teams….not so much this year. Not making excuses but we’ve had a ton of injuries coupled with Tre and Hyde injuries and now Von. For this team to be at 10-3 with plenty of meat left on the bone to get better should be scary of what they can do. Make no mistake no one wants a playoff matchup with Buffalo. Now let’s go get what this team, franchise, city and all of BillsMafia want…..the Lombardi. It’s all right there in front of us starting with TCB against MIA. FINISH STRONG BUFFALO!!!!!!!
  13. Seriously…yes Dorsey needs to improve. However, so do many players on the offense. Yesterday alone, their were 5 big drops that impacted the game and were very catchable. McKenzie dropped two that would have resulted in 1st downs, then add in Smoke, Knox and Devin. Cook didn’t even block his guy on a quick pass to Diggs. This team has to address offense this offseason. OL and WR (especially slot) are major needs. Your not firing your OC with a top 5 offense. Make no mistake he has to get better though and you expect with more experience he will.
  14. Chargers and Bills sure like to make games harder than they should be. Geesh!
  15. Chargers and Raiders are in direct competition for choking away wins this season.
  16. Fluke fumble for a TD and just chuck it deep for a TD. Outside of that MIA hasn’t done squat offensively but LAC consistently chokes games away in the 2nd half so not holding my breath MIA doesn’t win.
  17. Agree…..I really hope we don’t just rush 4 consistently giving him ample time and play soft converage.
  18. Perspective: A win is a win, 10-3, still #1 seed with 4 regular season games to go. NYJ have a strong D and are trending in the right direction. They have to feel good even losing. However, our team and coaching staff continue to make too many mistakes. Happy with the win but not happy with how they won. OFFENSIVE: Weather was atrocious but Dorsey thought long developing pass plays was the way to go which had me shaking my head. Almost totally abandoned any semblance of a running game. McKenzie, Knox, Devin with some critical drops. Would love to see the Bills draft Josh Downs, slot WR from NC. Diggs and Davis needed to be more involved and it’s inexcusable they weren’t. Josh continued to not take the easy positive yardage plays especially in the 1st half. OL struggled mightily in the first half. Dawkins had a wicked block at the goal line for a TD. They only converted on TWO 3rd downs. Another bad coaching challenge by McDermott. How hard is this? I keep waiting for some creativity by Dorsey but don’t think it’s coming. GREAT GAME BY T BASS! DEFENSE: Only gave up 10 points. Groot made impactful plays. BIG hits by Ed, Milano and others on White. Almost 50% success rate on 3rd down by NYJ. That’s unacceptable and has been a trend in the wrong direction. Solid game by the DL and LB’s. However they were much better when they attacked. When they didn’t results weren’t good. Continuing the negative trend of bad tackling. Secondary gave up way too many easy passes. AGAIN yes this team is winning but the lack of execution, game planning, poor tackling and giving up 3rd down conversions are very worrisome. Can’t recall if this team has played even close to a complete game yet. Everything seems way too hard right now. I’m sure some may say it’s far too negative but if this team is going to reach its goal, they’ve got to get better. LETS GO BUFFALO! Now let’s take care of MIA!
  19. Four out of the last five games the Bills play are playoff teams or one game out of the playoffs. If the Bills get the #1 seed, they will have EARNED it. LETS GO BUFFALO!
  20. Seattle, Detroit and Philly are in great shape assuming they hit on their picks. Obviously free agency impacts draft needs but OG, Safety and an impactful WR are the most likely needs for us.
  21. Bills should be super close to healthy outside of Von. Now is the time to stack wins and play to their potential. IMO, they’ll need to win all five to secure the #1 seed. Cinncy is most likely winning the AFCN now so the head to head against them will be big as well. First things first, take care of the Jets and Dolphins. Both vivid reminders if you don’t execute and protect the ball, you’ll get beat. Jets continue to gain confidence and MIA certainly has weapons.
  22. Love how quickly they can confirm scoring plays but take 10 minutes to review anything else.
