  1. That bust led his team to victory against us so what does that say about our team. For all tge accolades that is stated about our D, they continue to struggle in big moments.
  2. Most disappointing is I do not see this coaching staff learning and developing. How many ways does he and his staff need to lose games on basic fundamentals? Year after year! We can all understand once in awhile strange things happen but this is beyond ridiculous. Everyone of the examples below the game should have NEVER come down these situations. Houston 4th and long…..players are way far back and out of position (coaching) AZ………..knock it down (coaching) KC 13 seconds. Missed communication on kickoff, Chiefs have all three timeouts and you let them run free and this was AFTER you called two timeouts….(coaching) Minny…….4th and forever…..knock it down which should have been stressed with the two minute warning…(coaching) McDermott and Frazier are content with a bend but dont break D that rarely adjusts to what’s occurring in the game hoping to get home with four. Yes there have been injuries this year but ALL the more reason to reinforce fundamentals and game situations. You traded for a safety (Marlowe) that knows your D but yet you start a safety who’s never started? Coaching I’m convinced this coaching staff has no clue what to do with the RB’s and how they can be used to make this offense even better. And that includes Beane in evaluating RB talent. The game yesterday in the 2nd half was horrible on so many fronts. Not kicking the FG to go up 13. Not utilizing the run game when the clock is your friend. One possessions they went 3 and out and used roughly 40 seconds off the clock in the 4th qtr with the lead. THATS ALL COACHING!
  3. It’s not that they lost it’s how they are losing which is infuriating. Turnovers, self inflicted mistakes, blowing leads, inability to effectively run the ball especially in short yardage, lack of adjustments, poor in game decision making and situational coaching are ALL major issues and common trends under this coaching staff. Sure it’s easy to flush away one, but each season this continues to happen. At some point you have to question is the HC and his staff actually learning and improving. Those you cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it. How they are losing is becoming a consistent theme with McDermott and frankly what McDermott says needs to start showing up on the field in key moments!
  4. Especially when your offense has only scored 3 pts in the 2nd half. Kick the FG and MAKE MN beat you by scoring TWO TD’s. Just an asinine decision by McDermott. ZERO reason to be aggressive in that situation. Even after the sack to make it 4th and 18 with two minute warning did anyone on the coaching staff reinforce the situation and what to do? Or were they too busy celebrating like they won the game on 3rd down?
  5. Hell they could have tried multiple hard counts and take a penalty if it didn’t work. But get Minny to jump just once and you kneel down in victory. This coaching staff is struggling in big moments. Houston game on 4th down, ARIZ last play, KC 13 secs and now this. Expecting MUCH MUCH more from this coaching staff.
  6. Disagree they would have needed TWO TD’s instead of a TD and FG. Big big difference.
  7. And would have been just a simple play by Lewis to make! SMH Not taking a FG to go up 13 to start the 4th qtr was beyond defensible. Minny would have needed TWO TD’s to win. Still beyond PO’d about that decision.
  8. Didn’t we say this after the MIA game, then again in the 2nd half of the Packers, then again after the Jets game and now yet again after losing to MINNY. This isn’t about fire….it’s about consistently executing and adjusting to changes the other team is making. Both of which the coaching staff and team aren’t doing.
  9. Capable yes but not likely with how they are playing and coaching. McDermott preaches alot but what is happening on the field isn’t translating. And I’ve lost faith he’s improving as a HC. The list of blown games under McDermott is getting long. Fundamentals Execution Need to run more Situational football Ball protection Failure to know what needs to be done in key moments. I truly hope you are right!
  10. #1 seed and MVP aspirations are a long shot. Heck playoffs aren’t even a given now.
  11. Except I’m not assuming they beat CLE or DET with how they are playing. ZERO TD’s in the 2nd half since KC. ZERO!
  12. Sorry right now this team is in trouble to make the playoffs with the current trends. ZERO ability to run the ball when needed Major struggles in the RZ Simply failing in short yardage Playcalling is maddening at times Continuing to get outschemed in 2nd half Josh making headscratching decisions D continues to give up big yardage on 3rd and 4th downs. In game coaching decisions in close games are horrible. (example 2minute warning Minny 4th and 18th….did ANYONE reinforce knock the ball down) Deja vu of the AZ game. But not kicking a FG to go up 13 to start the 4th qtr is inexcusable. Failure by Beane to address IOL and misses at RB DL is MIA way too often.
  13. FG would have put them up 13 forcing Minny to score TWO TD’s to win. Utterly stupid!!!!!
  14. Coaching Coaching and Coaching! My faith in McDermott is no longer there. The Bills have played like crap for 3 straight games in the 2nd half. Inability to run the ball when needed, struggling in the RZ, D continues to give up long drives and for all the great plays Josh is making he’s making crucial mistakes. How many close games does McDermott and Frazier blow it? The list is growing. Houston playoff game Jags KC Patriots Miami NYJ Minny If this continues making the playoffs isn’t a sure thing any longer. Kiss the #1 seed goodbye and even the division. The have major issues to correct!
  15. After losing to the Jets and Dolphins in the way they did, I’m not sure you can just say the Bills will run the table even if Josh plays. Vikings have a solid run game and playmakers on offense. Without Josh, I don’t see the Bills winning. Cleveland won’t be an easy game, Detroit can score and the Pats play tough D and have a solid running game. This team has had way too many injuries and it’s having an impact. For all the draft picks and money invested in the DL, they’re not imposing their will. Additionally they continue to make way too many self inflicted mistakes. The loss to the Jets was almost identical to last years loss to the Jags. I was hoping we’ve learned but evidently we didn’t. Similar to how we let KC score a FG right before half again. The D has yet to really dominate this year. Heck even Pickett had 300 yards passing.
  16. The Bills have a good defense but not dominant. Injuries just continue to come at this team on a weekly basis and it’s very concerning. The Bills have invested heavily in the D line and rarely these past few weeks have they been imposing their will. Agree that the offense though is the primary cause for concern. EVERY game they have made self inflicted mistakes that have taken points off the board in thevRZ or given opponents the ball with a turnover inside the their own 20. MIA, BALT, KC, NYJ all had easy TD’s due to turnovers. You can’t continue to play that way and expect it not to bite you. The Bills are capable if healthy and play to their potential of winning it all but they have been consistently sloppy and undisciplined with protecting the ball this year. Sure we’re happy with 6-2 but we all know this team should be 8-0!!!!!!
  17. Don’t disagree but some of my fellow Bills fans are of the mindset Tua sucks and they aren’t a real threat.
  18. In reality though if the Bills would have simply executed better the weather wouldn’t have mattered. *Josh sacked and fumble at the 5 gave them an easy touchdown. *Debacle before halftime which cost them a FG *Failed 4th down conversion by Josh who shortarmmed a TD to McKenzie *End of game debacle to not get out of bounds to kick a FG With all that said it’s naive to think MIA hasn’t gotten better. It’s the NFL and if the Bills don’t execute they are certainly beatable. MIA coaching is better and they’ve put TUA in a scheme to be successful. Bills can’t afford overlook MIA.
  19. Blowouts in the NFL are rare. Many were predicting the Bills would roll GB and due to a horrible second half, the game was closer than expected. Game is on the road as well. IF the Bills stop making stupid mistakes they SHOULD win by double digits. But then again that assumes no stupid turnovers, playcalling or poor execution especially in the RZ. As with most teams the Bills will play this year, get off to a strong start and don’t give them any hope of winning.
  20. Bills added more speed to their roster at RB and enhanced special teams for minimal draft capital. Yes it sucks the pick on Moss didn’t work out but it happens to every team. Wish him nothing but the best in Indy unless he’s playing the Bills. IMO, this offseason could see a lot of movement at RB across the league. Unless the Bills land a big fish, solid chance DS is back. I don’t see a huge market for him and would think they’ll resign him to a team friendly deal.
  21. Right now it looks like Buffalo, KC, TN, Baltimore, SD, MIA and most likely Cinncy.
  22. CLE pass rush is destroying Cinncy OL. Losing Chase is a huge loss offensively. Bills need to get up early on Cleveland to get them out of running the ball which is their strength.
  23. Bengals have a really good roster but OL is very vulnerable. Would not be surprised if the Bengals win. Same with Cleveland, talented roster but for whatever reason can’t put it together consistently. Obviously if Watson is what he was in Houston that will have a dramatic impact. Burrow, Watson and Jackson is going to make for a dynamic division going forward.
