I wouldnt say Jeremy White is some kind of astounding football analyst. I would love to see some of these guys who talk about football on a daily basis sit in front of a white board or game film and be able to determine if a defense was in man or zone, or be able to know what personnel an offense is in. I think you'd be surprised how little they actually know. The Bills pay Josh more than the Chiefs pay Mahomes. There has been noise that Josh wants a new contract in the offseason. If you want to be paid better than the best player in the league, you sure as hell better make sure you are better than him on the field. The bottom line is Josh is the highest paid player on the Bills. I imagine Hasek was paid a pretty penny by the Sabres as well. Because of that they are held to a higher standard. When the Bills lose to the Chiefs I dont want to hear how Cole Bishop or Kaiir Elam did. I want to hear that Josh outplayed the guy on the otherside of field. When the Sabres lost in the conference finals were people blaming Brian Holzinger for not scoring more goals? No, its up to your superstar to get you there.

Stats dont always tell the entire story. He had a fine game but it wasnt great. The fumbled snap put them behind schedule for a first down. He failed to recognize where the blitz was coming from on the last play of the game. While the center makes the line call, the Quarterback needs to recognize where the blitz is coming from to put the lineman in the right position to make that call. Josh is an absolute dog and a likely future hall of famer but part of the loss is certainly on him.

You have a guy leading that organization who has coached football longer than I've been alive and I am going to be 42 in March. Between he and Spags they have 77 years of coaching experience. They've seen it all. They know the right move all the time. Very hard to overcome that.

I didnt say he didnt have a good game. He just wasnt great. I understand people here are very sensitive about Allen criticism, rightfully so. But again he had the ball in his hands to win the game and he didnt. Should Kincaid have caught it, probably. But Josh also didnt read the blitz well. He also rolled right into which is what forced him to have to make a hero throw.

We can go back and forth all day. Mahomes has led game winning drives in the post season and Super Bowl. Josh had his chance last night and didnt get it done. Had any of us been asked before the game started if Josh Allen has the ball with 3 minutes left to go win the game would you take it...we all would have. Was the coaching perfect not at all. Did his pass catchers let him down, yes they did. Did his line decide to have a crap game at the worst time possible, yes they did. That said, our "only all pro talent" as another poster put it had the ball in his hand to go win the game and he didnt.

Hatred of Josh Allen? Completely wrong there. The guy is one of my favorite players ever. That said, my love for him as a player doesnt completely blind me to the fact that he wasnt great last night. It also doesnt blind me to the fact that he isnt in Mahomes' league as a post season QB. If the team gets you the ball with 3 minutes to go to score a winning touchdown, the great all time QBs do that. Sometimes in spite of their own teams shortcomings. Mahomes does that. Consistently. Josh does not.

Our QB had the frickin ball in his hands to go win the game with 3 minutes left!!!!!!!!!!! And he crapped the bed. Stop blaming coaching. The all time greats take that ball and win the game. Switch QBs and the Bills likely are going to the Super Bowl. You know why because when Mahomes is blitzed he climbs the pocket then moves laterally to buy time. Our QB decided to roll right into the blitz and heave the ball back over his body.
