  1. I'm not calling you an ass for anything. My point you shouldn't consider stats in regards to Josh Allen that don't exist. One of them being his NFL completion percentage. Also bringing up the NFL CP of Deshaun Kizer and CJ Beathard is ludicris. It reeks of looking for excuses not to give the kid the opportunities he obviously deserves. If he plays with the 1's and 2's and is 55% CP and looks like a rookie then back up and punt. But FFS don't make excuses that don't exist.
  2. You should probably wait until you have some Josh Allen NFL completion percentage stats before you start using NFL completion percentage stats as a reason why Josh Allen won't be a successful QB in the NFL.
  3. This take on Hue Jackson finally answers the small question I had in my mind in regards to your takes on some of the subjects discussed here at TBD. I always thought they were terrible but now I am 100% sure of it. There is absolutely nothing to appreciate about Hue's coaching. HE makes the situations dysfunctional and Im shocked anyone would be impressed with anything they have seen. The guy is a terrible leader of men. He could theoretically be a good cheerleader but that is about as close as he should ever get to a football team. I'm very confident you won't have to worry about him succeeding anywhere as a HC unless it's a Pop Warner team.
  4. I agree with most of this. But the process has to be to put Allen with the twos this week in practice and in the game on Friday. There is no way you can bury Allen with the threes at this point. He is ready to play with the twos and I think he will on Friday. It's a fine line between bringing him along slowly and holding him back. The tough decision is who is the starter and who is the 3rd string QB. Allen will be the backup. That seems like the proper speed of the process to me.
  5. I watched it again as well and feel the same way, but it may look decievingly slow immediately after watching Allen throw it 20 times.
  6. Amazing because I feel the exact opposite. Allen seemed much closer to the other 2 than I was expecting. He was very quiet in the pocket with a lot of pressure around him and made great throws. The game was definitely not bigger than him which was my biggest fear. Plus, obviously he made 5-6 throws that the other 2 can not physically make. Allen may not be ready, but it won't be long. The thought of him starting with Shady behind him and KB as the #1 WR is special.
  7. Sounds like the Browns coaches know nothing about playing WR. I guess that's why they paid Jarvis so much money... to be the WR and WR coach.
  8. WTF dude? You have no idea what Schefter knows or meant and you have no idea if Coleman said anything. Do you know him personally? After hearing the kid speak I have no idea why people spout such vitriol about him. It all seems way over the top to me.
  9. Some or all of this has got to be true, but if a first round pick can't be motivated by being traded for basically a bag of footballs then I don't know what will. And if he doesn't it's gonna cost the Bills about 4 million dollars over 2 years which is pennys in the big picture.
  10. Daboll wants to use KB, 6'5" 245", as his new Gronk, 6'6" 265". With Coleman on the outside he can try to match KB up on a safety or a LB so he can use his size. We have all seen KB can't separate from a corner. The offense seems to be taking shape and it's going to look similar to NE.
  11. I've got a bud who was drafted by the Ravens and signed his second deal with the Panthers. He said it was the worst mistake he ever made. Culture, locker room, coaches and management were great in Baltimore. He said Carolina was a disaster. Ruined his career is what he told me. Not excusing KB for opening his mouth but I think he's prolly being honest and wanted to get it off his chest.
  12. The LVP for Joe B. While I do respect his reporting, he is still just a reporter. I'm taking the stance to be leary of all these opinions as there are so many different ones. And unfortunately (or fortunately) you will hear nothing but praise for all the players from the coaches and the GM. I guess you will never know when a trade offer will come for anyone and you don't want to burn bridges so it's probably a good policy. We will all be living in the dark until we see play with our own eyes and/or players are cut.
  13. Kyle Williams is unreliable and an unknown... BWAAAAA HAAA HAAA HAAA.
  14. Wrong again. They will never look like idiots for what they have done thus far. Do you know how many QB's the Bills have taken in the top 10 picks of the NFL draft...? ZERO, NONE, NADA. They were able to it after taking the franchise to the playoffs for the first time in 17 YEARS, in THEIR FIRST YEARS of being a head coach and a GM, AND get the highest ranked inside LB, AND get Harrison Phillips, AND keep all of their picks next year. For you not to realize how incredible that is is simply mind boggling. Oh and don't forget they got the team out of Salary Cap hell. They will never, ever look like idiots for doing that. Seriously, do you think before you post?
  15. Yep, they gave up so much they were able to get Edmunds 10 picks later. All they gave is what they gained with moves they made over the prior 8 months, all while making the playoffs. And they still have their first next year. Your take on this sucks and you are clueless.
  16. 6 home games. Colts, Jets, Dolphins on the road. Thats 9 games in case you can't count.
  17. To your first point, I apologize for using the word all, I should have used the word many when describing the reports about Rosens demeanor. But the fact is there are such reports, that is not untrue. There have no such reports about Allen that I have read. Secondly, my argument of Rosen thinking he can fix the NCAA is no more ridiculous, in fact less ridiculous, than you thinking Lincoln or Luther came up with their country altering ideas in 10 to 20 hours. It's more like a lifetime of experiences to lead them to the words and actions to change a country. Besides all of that, the point I was trying to make was that the way Rosen acts and talks during his "stimulating discussions" about this subject as well as some public interviews comes off as a smug, I am better than thou attitude and that demeanor, IMO, will not go over well with some teammates and some coaches. I don't know the dude and I don't know Allen, but I do have eyes and ears and I can form an opinion from what I see and hear from both players about how they will fit into a locker room culture and I would rather have Allen. As far as taking Rosens talent over Allen's in a "millisecond"? I could argue that as well. More polished? Yes. More developed? Possibly. More talented? I don't think so, but I don't equate either of the first 2 to talent. IMO Allen has more raw talent. Where we do agree is on the development of the talent is certainly no sure thing, in fact, it's probably less than 50/50, but I think the upside is significantly higher.
  18. I feel ya but the dollars are too big for rational thought IMO. I honestly believe the only way to change it is if the fans stop from making it a 2 billion dollar industry by not giving them their hard earned dollars or the players have another way to play AND make money. There is no reason for them to change their model if their model is a monopoly and that Monopoly is making them money. I don't think Josh Allen can handle that. I'm not sure The Donald can. (Although he did help to get the boys in the NFL to stand during That time Anthem)?
  19. It's always more accurate to say a player is going to be a bust since 80% of them are (QB's are prolly closer to 90%). That's why most media D-bags and forum trolls claim bust. It is not because they are really smart or did any work to come up with their opinion. They are the bunch that cares only about claiming "I told ya so". In fact, in this specific case, even if Josh Allen is a serviceable QB for 10 years they will say " I told ya he wouldn't be a hall of famer" or "I told ya (QB X) would be better" or "I told ya we shouldn't have picked him 7th". It's really a miserable existence for them and especially kool aid drinking homers Homers aren't all that great either (I tend to be one, I can't help it. I talked myself into Tyrod Taylor as a franchise QB and now I get to tell another fanbase he sucks), but it is a much better daily existence for sure.
  20. Rams are trying to make hay while their Franchise QB is under his rookie contract, much like the Seahawks did with Russell Wilson. When Goff needs to get paid, things will change. Rothlisbergers contract is 87 million at 22mil/ year so Bell is SOL until next year when he moves on and he still won't get Gurley money.
  21. The problem with Rosen is that he actually thinks he can fix the NCAA in 10-20 hours. He also probably thinks he can solve world hunger, cure cancer and of course fix the Arizona offense in 10-20 hours. Rosens downfall won't be his talent, it will be his mental makeup. By all reports the guy is very douchy, entitled and thinks he's smarter than everyone in the room. Not great characteristics for the locker room or the film room. (Jay Cutler anyone?) And telling the world he can fix the NCAA is proof of that. I will take Allen's demeanor any day and I'll take his talents as well. Should be an interesting comparison for a few years for sure, but as of today I feel pretty good about the choice Beane made..
