  1. It's pretty much going to be in the street. It's at the end of Broadway by the River. I'm steering clear of anything downtown Thursday. Do you know where the Hard Rock Cafe is at the end of Broadway and you look out over the River and there is Nissan Stadium? The Draft Stage is going to be dead center right there as you face the River and Nissan Stadium.
  2. This is way low from the numbers I saw in the paper this morning. For the draft alone they had over 235, 000. Then you have close to 25/30k for the Preds game, which is almost right across the street.
  3. I wanted to get tickets but I moved away from town. I used to live on Charlotte Ave, but now I live out in the country. But for anyone coming to Nashville, just be mindful that the Preds are in the playoffs so you'll have that going on and there's like 12 other events going on downtown in addition to the draft. Good luck getting in and out of downtown. That's one of the biggest reasons I just said screw it. I'd have to drive another 45 mins home after trying to get from downtown for around an 1hr and 30 mins to 2 hours. No thanks.
  4. I'll catch up before the end of the 1st round after viewing Avenger's Endgame. I have a 6pm showing and the draft is at 7.
  5. You are assuming they are trying to take safe picks. What if they are not? See the 2018 Bills 1st round picks. Neither were safe and one (Allen) was one of the most polarizing prospects at his position.
  6. Of course I have no evidence they will take him, like you have no evidence they won't, but I did listen to some of their draft prognosticators like Garrett Downing and even listen to their Director of College Scouting Joe Hortiz. They didn't mention Sweat specifically but putting some of the things they said together, I don't think they would pass up on him.
  7. It's going to be Hockenson. I bet Gruden loves him to death and Mayock loves the talent. The Raiders actually need a guy like him too.
  8. In this case, same difference. The point is IF the Ravens stay at 22, he'll get selected there if he's still around.
  9. He will not fall out of the 1st. There is no way a team like Baltimore would pass on him at 22 if they stay at that spot.
  10. The media guys and mockers are somewhat plugged in but could be misled. What they report is based on who they are talking with around teams. They also talk with agents. So in some sense they are not off base but can be completely off base. A lot of the time they put together what an agent has said with what people around a team are saying and then look at the perceived need.
  11. I'm not saying those guys won't become starters, I'm saying they are not penciled in. Only Morse is penciled in. Everyone else is going to have to earn it and to me that doesn't preclude adding additional talent to the group early.
  12. I agree. I think the OL only has 1 starter at this point and that is Morse. I don't think Dawkins spot at LT is safe, especially after showing up looking like ButterBean
  13. I'm on board with you on the trading scenarios except it won't be the Dolphins, maybe Bengals?. Your trade back into the 1st though with either Seattle at 21 or Baltimore at 22 could happen. We'd just need to gain the extra capital to make that work. I like DK in the teens, but I dunno if I like Burns or Wilkins more at 21, that is, IF Burns makes it that far. Nahh I like Wilkins more. I thought he'd come out last year and had him pegged to us with one of the 1st's.
  14. This late in the game, I dunno. The Jets played their hand last year and it was pretty clear they wanted one of two guys. Mayfield or Darnold. I could see this being true for the Jets and them bragging about it because there's not really any offer other teams can make for them to not select Oliver. On the flip side, just because Williams wants him, that doesn't mean the GM will take him.
  15. The last few weeks I've said I think Ed Oliver is their guy unless someone like Josh Allen falls. If Oliver is gone and an unexpected player does not fall to 9, I think they will want to move. Whether they can, we'll have to wait and see. Now with all of that said, I completely disagree with Reuter and anyone who thinks we are trading with Miami, so they can help themselves and hinder us. Trading to 30 is too far IMO. Teens. We still have a target I'm sure and you don't want to trade too far back and get out of range for guys you are targeting.
  16. As I said in another thread, I think he's their #1 guy and if he goes off the board, they might want to move out of the 9 spot.
  17. I honestly think the Bills have Ed Oliver as their #1 guy at 9 and if he's off the board, they will desire to move out of that spot.
  18. This is just not true. The Lions never asked him to run double move routes. The information is out there on CJ's career if you care to look at it. He excelled at a few routes and that's how the Lions used him. Technically every wide receive "could run the entire route tree". The issue is can they do it well. They Lions decided to use CJ a certain way and allowed him to excel at certain routes. They never asked him to run poco or copo for instance.
  19. Yep. Just checked the NFL site. I checked before and I swear those numbers were not there, but alas, the claim for Johnson still stands.
  20. Pretty silly to mention Jones and Johnson then move to Baldwin. Here's why. Neither Jones or Johnson tested in agility drills at all. We know why. Jones and Johnson's agility scores are probably in the same league with Baldwin's. The difference is talent. Johnson and Jones have the things that cannot be coached. In any case, 8 days.
  21. Where though? 9? Probably not. I can see them trading back and taking him. But I don't see them taking him at 9 and I want Metcalf on the Bills. To me trade with the Giants for 17 if possible. Gain draft capital. Draft Metcalf at 17. Trade extra draft capital to Ravens or Seahawks for pick 21 or 22. Take Tillery or Brian Burns there. Fill out the rest of the roster with the remaining picks.
  22. LOL wrong direction. Maybe trade up would have been better language. But it still creates the same ambiguity. Which direction are we going? LOL, THAT WAY. How about just trade into the Teens?
  23. Yep. Trade down so we can then trade with Seattle but still have 2nd and 3rd round picks once we deal our original picks to the Hawks or even the Ravens just one pick later.
