  1. all I did was call you a favorite. I’m not crying any sort of blues and havnt in the previous 8 pages. Just simply stated that as soon as I click in this thread for the first time since it’s been up it really managed to dredge up some characters. I give no cares to Tyrod being gone. Good with it. Have been since it happened.

Now If you would be so kind to go find some sand to pound. That would be just dandy. And again.... have a nice day.

you forgot to include yourself, you seem to riding right along too, no?

And there’s Another one of my favorites....nah. You havnt seen me say much on Tyrod, if anything at all, since he’s been moved. I’m good with it. In fact the reason for my initial post up above was because I hadn’t been in this thread one time and when I finally decide to click on it I see all 3 I mentioned on the same page. I could be mistaken but I feel like I hadn’t seen any of them in days in any other threads so  It was fitting they were all gathered here after my one simple click.... Have a nice day, junior.

More like the same old blind sympathetic posters like yourself that just can't admit that the choice they made at QB was 1000% incorrect. Same old nasty sounding just like that girl on the YouTube video many years back screaming, "leave Britney alone". Haha.

Going to be a wonderful season not seeing the Tyrod threads,  hey hey hey goodbye.

Classic xRUSHx.... CLASSIC! Not quite as dramatic and over the top as some of your better work but you still nailed it. Nicely done.

I don't think he does have knee injuries.  The thing with Rosen has been shoulder injuries requiring surgery, and two concussions.

Allen also has multiple shoulder injuries, the college one costing him a season and requiring surgical reconstruction.

Mayfield also has had 2 concussions within 3 games.

I really don't care if our QB is a total douche if he can play QB well.  If Allen can play QB in the NFL, it's a bonus if he's a nice guy and we all love him.

But if he turned out to be a total douche but won lots o' ballgames my opinion is he'd fit into WNY Just Fine.

If he's a nice guy and can't play, well, we all know how that goes.

AMEN brother. I literally give no cares to what type of people these players are. Entertainment. Win some games, man. I won’t ever be hanging out with them but I will be watching their product every sunday.

Poyer deserved the Pro Bowl. People just knew Hyde from his time in Green Bay, so he had more name recognition.

Tre White deserved it as well.

It's fun to have a great secondary. I hope the front 7 takes a step forward this year. I'm guessing the defense will be a top 12-15 unit this year, and top 5 by next year. McDermott is building a beast.

I think there’s an easy case to be made that poyer had a better overall season than Hyde. Just as many picks, more tackles and 2 sacks to Hyde’s none.

Hyde had the hot start for a surprise team to his advantage.  He cooled off a bit over the 2nd half and honestly by the end of the year I think poyer had put together the more impressive season.

Absolutely! Been saying that too, it's pretty incredible really what our secondary did with one of the worse pass rushes in the league. It's going to cause even more turnovers. Can't wait.

Can't wait to see them with a pass rush in front of them.

i'm a bit more anxious to see if it closes up some of the holes in the middle of that zone that teams seemed to be able to expose at times. less time in the pocket means less time to find those soft spots

..... which in turn should also lead to more breakups and ultimately more TO's

I'm not saying it's right, don't misunderstand.  I'm saying there's degrees of domestic violence, and treating them like one size fits all is absurd.

right. I agree with that.... that's just not how i'm translating what I've seen from you.

but whatever. its really not fun for me to debate this sort of crap. so i'm done with it.

Oooooooh pardon me for having an "issue" that I feel no threat to my safety or health when a 110 pound female throws a slap that wouldn't hurt a 12 year old.

It's not about it being "fine."  It's about not pressing charges over something so ridiculous.  She's not a menace to society.

Like I said, rationality is gone.  And it's been gone.  A little girl slap is the same as a dude putting his wife through a window. A poor sexual joke in the office is the same as rape.

    That's crazy to me. Honestly.

I'm not sure how we could have that info.  We only know how many people get caught faking, and how many people get caught hitting women.

I've had my nose broken and stitches put in a lip all becuz of "slaps" from my ex. meanwhile having to stand there and take it knowing full well the minute I even tried to restrain her she would cry wolf. she was a complete maniac... I eventually removed her from my life as that's all you can do as a man in that situation... you honestly sound really foolish here with your one really bad example.

women get away with way too much of this trash, and when a man finally cant take anymore and loses his cool(its what she's after) and defends himself(which I had the sense not to do) they are labeled for life. its ridiculous. most women are 100% aware of what they are doing and that they can get away with it. that's the pathetic part.

This is the answer IMHO. The difference was this year we found a way to win a few close games past teams would have figured out a way to lose.  3 games in particular come to mind.

Against thE defending NFC champs in their own house. The snow game.  Looked lost til our D forced a 3 and out. We get the football back and our 3rd string QB  hits a WR signed off the street the month before. Against TB, we were winning most of the game but found ourselves down 7 with 3:00 to play.  O and D came together with big plays for the win.

During the drought we regularly lost games like this. That's the difference IMHO.

As far as the luck I angle, it calls to mind a quote from the late great Louis Pasteur. "Chance favors the prepared mind."

that tampa bay game had the feel of sooooo many freaking similar meltdown games over the last 17 years.... and then it wasn't. that one is a perfect example of what you are talking about. any other season that one spirals out of control.

The AFC was weak enough this past season that a season record that they have had before, which was not close to making the playoffs those times, qualified them for a wildcard this time.  It was not a better season record than they have had before, but as luck would have it, it allowed them to end the drought this particular time.  They did seem to get more calls going their way this past season than in previous years, but that's not the luck I was referring to.

uh, define "not close".... they were within a game each other time. lets not be excessive here.  PLENTY of 9-7 squads have made the playoffs over the years. its not some sort of anomaly. the bills did what they needed to do in week 17 and over the course of ALL 16 games and the rest didn't..... namely the ravens.

  9. I don’t ever really pretend to know how any of the qb’s are gonna shake out. I don’t know how anyone really could after watching surprise qb after surprise  qb bust or flourish.... one guy that really comes to mind for everyone else is cam newton. I wasn’t on this board yet but over at BBMB there were a ton of “experts” that just knew Newton wasn’t gonna be any good.

There were really strong opinions on him and a lot of people turned out to be horribly mistaken.

The NFL's amazing three way tiebreak system where we get in with the same record over a team that beat us.

I'd also add on that two point conversion that called back against the Colts because of an offensive pass interference (pick).  That's not always called.

It’s not always called becuz in that case it was 100% the wrong call. It happened within a yd of the LOS. It was very very legal. too bad too sad for the colts though. For every one of those the bills have gotten in their favor they’ve gotten 10 calls agains them over the last 17 years.

Guess you are never driving a Chevrolet, Dodge, Buick, etc. then either since then you'd have another man's name on your car.  Maybe it's acceptable for kids riding around in powerwheels, but not for an adult, right?  Such a lame take.

He’s so much cooler than us.

None. Wearing another person's name on my back is never going to happen. It's acceptable for a kid, but not an adult. Plain jersey fine, still don't own one, but fine. But I'll be damned if I'm going to represent someone I don't know and where his name around town.

New coaching regimes, new players... All things we've seen before... Making it to a wilcard because another team's quarteback showed up to play will never do it for me.. I feel sad for the easily excitable, easy to please crowd... High hopes but zero standards, and no guts to criticize anything... I'm usually chuckling at your "I'm so done with this team" posts come January.

First off.... don’t give me that bull crap about making it in because of another team. The bills did what they needed to do over 16 games. The ravens didn’t. End of story. Not to mention they won 4 of their last 6.

And please don’t lump me with whomever you are referring to in the 2nd half of that statement as it’s COMPLETELY false. I guarantee you’ve never seen such a thing from me.

drop the holier than thou stance as a fan, my man. It’s not a good look. Somebody can be plenty excited that a new staff came in and turned over the roster, then made the playoffs but still not be satisfied and still acknowledge there’s plenty left to be done. You’re generalizations come off sorta narrow minded and not very well thought out.  I’m not saying that’s what you are but a take like you just had makes a good argument for that. Good talk, friend.

EDIT: after re-reading this post it comes off quite angry. I’m really not that angry.... but I’m not editing it either. So whatever.

i fail to understand this !o gic.  ThE team missed the playoffs SEVENTEEN years in a row. Won 5 out of last 7. Made the playoffs and lose by a TD.  And you can't get excited about that? You need to be re-,energized?

A lot of glass half emptiers it seems.

It’s so pathetic really. Brand new staff basically from top to bottom and massive roster turnover all before the season started. People thinking tank season.... then they freaking win 4 of their last 6 to break the drought and then go play a one score game in the playoffs all while STILL having acquired draft capitol and clearing cap and guys like #34fan just can’t seem to get excited. And go to default responses like “3 points in a playoff game” blah blah blah blah. That’s a lost soul right there. And there are plenty others around here just like that.

It’s all honestly so freaking lame. People wanna be at the finish line before the start gun ever fires.
