Can’t lie.. I love Mahomes getting shoved every time he gets to the sideline. He always tiptoes for that cheap extra yard or two, daring defenders to shove him and risk a late hit.
-
“Mahomes doesn’t have anyone at WR” RD1 Pick RD2 Pick RD2 Pick MVS Hardman It’s not top tier, but you can see the talent in Toney & Rice.. albeit very inconsistent.
-
Mahomes is being such a little ***** on this drive, my goodness.
-
We really need McDermott to show he has that ability tonight. The Pats game was a black eye for him.. Spags & Anarumo are a massive reason for the Chiefs & Bengals playoff success.. especially in the Bengals SB run, where Burrow was carried by their defense and kicker.

Maybe you should stop being so cynical and realize that “most” aren’t rooting for injury, we’re simply reminded of the frustration of our injury luck these past few years when other contenders top players go down and bounce right back up. Meanwhile ours are carted off the field, not to be seen until the following year.
-
It’s more lamenting our bad luck as of late, compared to the good luck a certain team that consistently appears in the Super Bowl always seems to have.
-
Just mentally prepare yourself that none of the contenders are going to have massive injuries like the Bills did with White, Jones & Milano. Kelce, non-contact injury a few games ago. Comes right back in. Waddle, knee injury. Comes right back in. It is what it is.

Except as long as Tua stays healthy.. they don’t stink. They may not be great, but they are built to annihilate teams that can’t boat race them. There are only a couple teams on their schedule capable of that after today.
-
Dolphins crush the non-great teams, but if they get rocked today.. this whole “they can’t beat good teams” officially becomes a narrative .. and one that they may start to believe in the locker room.
-
Do you absolutely have to be trolling this early on a Sunday? Give it a rest.
-
It’s still there, even with a Chiefs win. If we win tonight, we’re one game behind them with a head to head coming up later this season. Id much rather have as many playoff paths open to us until I see we’re no longer “figuring it out”.
-
I want to see that WR screen with Shakir, far more often.
-
I want a Jacksonville rematch in the Playoffs. I want to see us destroy them and their season, either at home in Buffalo .. or in a pseudo-home game at their place. Such a bad taste in our mouth over how dirty the NFL did us in that game.
-
Agree .. I think the Jags being there for so long exacerbated how jet-lagged the Bills looked. Two jet-lagged teams, to varying degrees, and it’s not as noticeable.
-
And while they haven’t shown they can beat great teams… they’ve shown they don’t show the weaknesses against mediocre/bad teams that the Bills, Chiefs have.
-
To me, I think it depends on how confident you are the Bills are for real .. and if they are for real.. figure it out, starting today. I want to believe that, but I need to see them win tonight to do so.. therefore I’m pulling for the Chiefs to keep us, at worst, one game behind Miami for the Division, with one game against them remaining and the tiebreaker if we sweep.
-
Still cant believe the Chiefs pulled a Bills travel plan after seeing how it worked out for us. That being said … even though the Dolphins flew out early in the week, they weren’t there for over a week, with a game under their belt. It is what it is, but I will choose to remain salty about that for an inordinate amount of time.

I get where you’re coming from, but Beane mentioned he had been in talks with Joseph’s rep for weeks. We can’t force him to sign when, and for whatever amount, we are able to offer. Fournette replaces Damien Harris, who also brings that physicality. They probably waited to see how Harris’ situation plays out.. saw it will be a while, and then made the move. As far as Rasul Douglas, the foundation for that deal was also planted about a week or so prior, according to Beane. We clearly wanted the younger, potentially elite, player in Jaylon Johnson.. but once it was deemed Chicago was asking for way too much, we pivoted back to a guy we targeted as our B option earlier. Deals typically happen the day of, or before, the trade deadline for a reason. Deadlines spark action.

Literally every breakdown I’ve heard talks about how the Bengals Offense needs to start strong. If they do, they’ll likely win the game. Fantastic news given our defense loves giving up points on opening drives.
-
Yea.. big body DT seems like that sweet spot where teams can sign you for the last half of the season and you can still command decent money because 1) DL can be sign & play, without a ton of integration and 2) Big DT’s are not plentiful in the NFL.. if you’re one of them, and keep yourself in shape, there will always be a need mid-season.
-
Agreed. That’s why 1T was such a big deal .. our linebackers are scheme fits to fly around behind a big DL that keeps them clean. This should allow Dorian Williams to get back on the field, unless they love what they stumbled across with Poyer at LB on passing downs.
-
Mid-season, Bills spend a 3rd RD pick and 3-4M to get CB Rasul Douglas, DT Linval Joseph, RB Leonard Fournette and a 5th RD pick. Our Defense is now back to only having one glaring hole at LB.. which with the additions of an above average CB and proven, big body 1T, should be able to be schemed up to protect. This is about as good as we could have hoped for being cap strapped. Defense can reasonably be expected to be a strength again, once these two get up to speed. Well done Beane.. well done!

I can’t dislike him…
