We’ll have to agree to disagree on what those parallels are. -
The foundation under Dr. Fauci is starting to crack...

I will never forget what happened during covid because the weak-minded, obedient cattle who allowed themselves to be manipulated into mass hysteria and turn on their fellow man will do it again … and it will happen again. -
This is going to be hilarious when a Biden-friendly Delaware jury finds Hunter innocent of an obvious crime right after a Trump-adversarial Manhattan jury found him guilty of charges Bragg invented out of thin air.

If you listen to enough podcasts, you eventually go down the Weimar Germany parallels rabbit hole. -

I generally agree, unless he starts doing what he did at UGA... which is running literal slot AND outside WR routes while being a RB. That's a pretty unique skillset, but the drops - if they continue - will hold him back from ever reaching his ceiling and keep him relegated to a RB classification and we definitely shouldn't be giving RB's second contracts. If he corrects that this season, and we use him in a way that keeps the wear and tear to a minimum.. I'm not totally opposed to giving a second contract to a RB who can, on any play/alignment, flex out to WR and run actual WR routes against a linebacker or safety.

Good analysis of Trevor Lawrence in The Athletic by Randy Mueller

Fair, but playing through injury is a big deal for QB’s. 1) For availability, an issue for guys like Burrow and Jackson as of recent years. 2) For being able to play through it like Allen. Nobody gives Allen any excuses for playing the last half of the year with a partially torn UCL two years ago. He had no business playing in most of those games. -
Good back and forth with both sides of the perspective represented.

This is the type of content I want to see!

It’s a mentality. Do you eat healthy? Do you push your body to build it up? Do you care about your fitness level and being able to grow old with your wife and kids, while able to active in their lives (to the extent you can as life events do happen). Do you protect those around you? How did you react during covid? Did you acquiesce to everything you were told? Did you stand up for people who were being pressured by the biggest societal propaganda campaign in our lives? Do you care about preserving our culture to the extent that those coming here that have zero intention of assimilating are recognized as a threat to our way of life? Or are you just a weak man?… Physically and ideologically. Many times the two are intertwined. If you don’t care enough about being strong and protecting others against cultural pressure, why would you care about your own body … and vice versa. Weak men create hard times .. and at least men who work out and care about their body have shown some level of hard work and discipline in a world that asks you to exist as doughy pin cushion for your masters.

LGBTQ acceptance is falling like a rock, and rather than reflect on why Americans are sick of this stuff, the activist class (who have ruined it for normal everyday LGB) are becoming more and more adversarial. I think they know they are the reason for the division and increasing lack of tolerance, but as an activist - or someone viewing this through a political lens - once you achieve your goals, you’re no longer needed … so they continue to push and sow division. LGB’s who just wanted to live and let live, be damned. -

Not a good night for the Trump is racist crowd.. Kevin Holland ran over to shake his hand after winning his fight. Hanging with Alex Pereira backstage.

Anyone have any idea what’s going on over there? Lots of wild speculation on X.

For anyone who cares to read what the literal former FEC Commissioner has to say about this… (click on post, it’s a long thread)

Oh, I agree with this too. It would be foolish to pay him bank breaking money long term, but somebody will. If I’m Tyreek, I’m telling them that if they’re going to make the Offense predicated on what I can do, I want more money. If not, trade me somewhere that I’ll get that before you spend another year wearing me out.
-
Tyreek Hill should make more money. He is literally the reason that Offense is so scary. They have speed everywhere, but that speed is amplified because you have to focus on Hill first which means you can’t throw as much help to Waddle or the run game, therefore explosive plays elsewhere are only single coverage or light boxes away.

I was someone who went to Pride parades 5-10 years ago. I watched my uncle pass away with his husband by his side. That was true love. At some point, you’ll realize that those like you are doing more harm to the LGB community than good. People haven’t become more bigoted.. The movement unfortunately became propaganda and now people are just annoyed by y’all all the time. Setting back gains made by the LGB community in order to elevate TQIA+ and infuse it with political ideology. Sad to see. Every day gay, lesbian and bisexual couples had what they wanted .. and y’all took it from them to push propaganda.
