  1. 1/3 star rating on 538 Take it fwiw
  2. Two more women attacked in NY by illegal immigrants. One raped, the other killed and buried in a field. Guess this is just normal life now.
  3. I’m not even going to attempt to dissect Biden’s debate performance because it was absolutely absurd and he’s a danger to the office for the remaining six months he occupies it. As for Trump, moving forward .. especially if Biden is replaced: -His constant pivoting to illegal immigration was strong. Keep doing that. -Tying illegal immigration to safety, healthcare, social security and the economy was brilliant. More of that as well. -His J6 response about the successes of it his administration, fantastic. Just leave it at that. No need to litigate further. -In regards to accepting the result of the election … “I will absolutely accept the result of a free and fair election”. That’s it. Done. Stop talking. -Stop riffing off the cuff about abortion. Just say it’s returned to the states where the people can decide and you won’t sign a national abortion ban. Thats what he believes. Stop rambling on this issue and just be concise. His position is wildly mainstream, bordering on being more progressive than the average American, yet he goes on and on about nonsense every time. -If anyone has seen 8 Mile, B-Rabbit wins in the end because he addresses everything his opponent was going to say beforehand. Trump did that with the “economists”. Biden had that in his back pocket and when he played it, Trump already undercut it and it never landed. In a more serious debate, that stuff matters.
  4. Agree with all of this and pleasantly surprised to hear that he’s willing to be coached.
  5. I agree with this. Trump was easily heading towards re-election if not for Covid.. and that’s even WITH the coordinated four year smear campaign between media, Dems & unelected beaurocrats. That being said, Trump is his own worst enemy and - no matter who the nominee is - the gameplan will be the same.. just this time the plays run with be J6 & “convicted felon” instead of Covid. If J6 never occurred, Trump would be unstoppable right now. But it did. And so he’s vulnerable.
  6. J6 ruling interesting due to the makeup of the decision. ACB dissenting, while KBJ joins the majority.
  7. I live in Georgia. He would have lost to anyone not named Herschel Walker. The fact it was as close as it was is insane because Walker was a hilariously awful candidate. He has a lot of issues that will come out under further national scrutiny and is not particularly well liked here. Ossoff is far stronger, but will lose his seat if Kemp runs against him after he finishes his time as Governor.
  8. Its already somewhat even on polling for who’s better in protecting democracy.. will be interesting to see how the public reacts to being given a nominee they didn’t choose. If R’s had any sense, they’d have a normal nominee and be guaranteed to win no matter what D’s do.. but as it stands, all guiding principles Dems claim to have will be disregarded as any means necessary to take down Trump. But passing over Kamala (black vote) and bypassing Democracy (independent vote) will be their two biggest hurdles if they manage to move Jill Biden out of the way.
  9. If the money guys pull their funding, he’s out. So, essentially, yes. They absolutely are in the “circle” when it comes to this stuff.
  10. Many of them will expect Kamala to be in consideration for the nominee, and if she isn’t, and it’s another white person, that’s going to be a problem. Not for all of them, but in a closely divided nation with swing states decided by tens of thousands of votes, they absolutely risk some black women staying home and black men furthering their migration to the right. Dems need 90% of the black vote to win elections. They can’t win with 75-80% and/or low black turnout.
  11. Not too late, but they need to figure out how to handle the Kamala situation. Bypassing her for someone like Newsom, Whitmer etc., is going to be hard to sell to their black voting base, specifically black women - who might be the most militantly strong voting group in all of politics.
  12. Correct, they’re another power structure that can win over modern day Dems by throwing out some DEI slop and turning their social media into a rainbow spectacle for Pride month.
  13. The state of the left in 2024 Crying whenever government power over our lives is limited.
  14. After last night it’s pretty clear that unhappy Dems have to convince Jill, not Joe. She’s truly an evil person.
  15. #3 is their biggest issue btw
  16. When you pick someone so terrible that you know they won’t smoke you out in fear of the successor but then need them to defend you when the knives come out…
  17. This was seismic. Knockout doesn’t do it justice. He may literally get replaced after this.
  18. Dems ranting about Trump’s lies as their only rebuttal to that debate. Not enlightening any of us on what those lies were. But assuring us that all he did was lie. (for the record, im sure he did lie.. thats what politicians do) I can name Biden lies off the top of my head.. Border Union Inflation Bleach Fine people on both sides
  19. And leaders around the world now know he’s likely on the way out one way or another. If you want to make a move, you’ve got about six months to get froggy.
  20. That was insane. Not sure we’ve ever seen a more one-sided Presidential Debate in history. They have to replace him.
