the coaches must have seen something in all those practices. there are guys who kill it in practice and just cant get it done on gameday. happy for both Nate and Zay.

this thread is hilarious. people are so quick to jump on the bandwagon. Mahomes is doing great, for now. Defenses will eventually figure him out. they always do. was a rookie QB a few seasons ago that everybody was up in arms about missing on him in the draft. people fell all over themselves to get in line on the "fire everybody at OBD" train. his name? Dak Prescott. people rarely learn from history it appears. If, and its a big if, Mahomes continues to play this way for the rest of the season, and next season, and strings together 3 good seasons in a row, then u can start the "I told u so" threads. Same crap happened last year with Deshaun Watson. ffs.

u build from the lines out. great line, lotsa time to throw for a young QB, even scrub WRs can get open. what Brady's been doin for years. he only struggles when his line struggles. this organization hasnt really built the lines since the super bowl years. ya theyd bring in a free agent here or there, waste a draft pick once in awhile, but usually just cobble together a buncha no names and hope for the best. u cant win in this league with garbage offensive and defensive lines. u can win with no name WRs.

how do i feel about Mahomes? i feel nothing, i have no connection to him, hes not the QB of my team, i dont follow the chiefs, and could care less what he does. 2 games, must be a HoFer already. Draft is mostly about getting lucky, cuz no matter how much all the "analysts" and "scouts" think they "know", they dont. its all a crap shoot. so many variables that go into whether or not a person is successful at anything they do. move this thread.

problem with this is 2 QBs with different skill sets, ie, running QB vs pocket QB, which makes me wonder how much Josh could learn behind Tyrod when they dont play the same kind of game. lets not forget having to set up the offense for Tyrods skill set, and then having to set it up for Josh's just in case. thats alot to ask for a new coordinator to accomplish in his first offseason. Browns got themsselves a decent runningback when they traded for Tyrod.
