  1. Is that true? Are you sure? I know it didn’t work that way when I traveled for business.
  2. I’m not the slightest bit opposed to what you’re doing but it is NOTHING like selling your primary residence.
  3. So wouldn’t the more accurate analogy be subletting out your vacation home when you’re not there?
  4. You were ‘stuck’ using a product that you chose to buy? I did the same with a toothbrush once. Darn thing kept losing bristles!
  5. Did he buy ‘his’ house just to sell it? He never lived in it?
  6. Youngster! But the sentiment rings true. 👍
  7. No Reggie McKenzie?
  8. That’s cool! So apparently an AFL franchise was $25,000 back at the outset. Not too shabby. Now….you can rent a single seat in the new stadium for that.
  9. So we’re passing on Zach Ertz…..again? Sheeesh!
  10. There’s definitely a large contractor office complex somewhere out there. It’s generally assembled from a bunch of modular units. A project of this size would have a full time office staff approaching 20 people.
  11. Very cool! Thanks for posting. Something to note from the current progress is that virtually everything you see as ‘white’ floor surface will be indoor concourse and fan services area. It’s a far cry from the woeful concourse areas at Rich Stadium. It gives you a great idea about just how large the new stadium is, and why it costs so much to build. (And regarding the ‘out building’ it’s clearly not the Contractor’s office, or it’d be surrounded by parking and wouldn’t be still under construction.)
  12. So you’re saying we have a chance? Sweet! BTW…reaching back to compare the team to one that made the playoffs on a literal miracle is a bit nutty….but it’s July so there’s not much happening.
  13. They tweak golfers swing mechanics….baseball hitters stance and swing….quarterbacks throwing motion…etc. If the Bills crack coaching staff can’t correct the routine slice that Bass has developed then they need a new coaching staff AND a new kicker.
  14. If you look at the cross section model the ONLY seats covered by the balcony above are those at the very top of the lower bowl (red) and those rows at the very top of the upper deck (blue). There are however suites that are covered by seating above them and there are of course plenty of rows under the roof cover.
  15. At a dime a dozen wouldn’t that mean we have SIXTY receivers on the roster. That's crazy!
  16. I’ve told this story before. I sat next to Don Shula waiting for a flight connection in Atlanta a few years back. He’d long since retired. We talked for about 20 minutes after I thanked him for the memories and explained I was a Bills fan. What shocked me was that his memory of the rivalry was NOT the long streak in the 70s but the fact that he couldn’t beat the Bills in the 90s. Just goes to show you remember the losses more than the wins. He was extremely gracious with his time.
  17. I’m looking at like Diggs got hurt in the offseason and now we’re going to see what they’ve cobbled together without him….but at least it’s better than having him go down in the Opener
  18. This is an equation with multiple variables, but at least you corrected yourself mid-post. The 2024 Bills ARE paying a top WR. It’s just that he’s playing in Houston. They’re also paying a one legged DE top dollar. There is no one size fits all formula but as a general rule, when you have a top dollar QB, something has to give somewhere.
  19. Not sure why this so complicated. Once you have a highly paid franchise quarterback you have to invest your limited resources elsewhere on your roster and expect that the QB will lift up the WR group. The shame is NOT that they had to assemble and entirely new group for 2024. The shame is that Diggs became a nuisance with his attitude! I’m sure the Bills would’ve loved to squeeze another season out of him while the rookie develops.
  20. I doubt training camp will sort either of your issues out. There’s virtually no contact in camp anymore and it’s contact that’ll be the defining factor for each.
  21. Never pay a Contractor ‘acceleration’ costs. It’s a fool’s errand.
