Dream scenario.... AB signed. Pats nation think it’s in the bag...fast forward to week 4. Ed Oliver puts Tom Brady’s knee into his back and the GOAT’s career is over. AB can’t get the ball from random backup who is not Tom Brady. He pulls his usual stunts and they cut him....Pats nation goes into a funk and the beginning of end is upon them. Gronk chooses to sign with us for the playoffs when we clinch the division in early December. OK back to reality. We’re screwed.

My Top 5 fits: 1) 49ers - stays in Cali and its a program on the rise 2) Indy -boatload of money and a decent line so might be a good match. My guess is AB would turn down their offer though. 3) Cards- Warm Weather and a Pass happy offense 4) Pats-Let Brady go out with a bang but I just don't think Belicheat will want to deal with the noise 5) Packers - if they can deal with Rodgers giant ego, they can deal with AB. I just doubt he will move to the frozen tundra

Tomorrow we start getting real answers. Does Josh Allen really know how to read defenses when Greg dials some weird 3-4 stuff up? Does he hit Beasley 7 times on this dig, swirl, and crossing routes like he should ? Does Josh actually hit a swing pass or WR screen and hit the guy where he keeps moving forward without having to reach back and stop? Do we take a dumb timeout in the first Quarter? Add to this does Sweeney start dropping passes when the games actually count ? Oh the sweet anxiety of heightened expectations!

Well if you are playing a straight zone that’s not always the case and believe me they will be trying to get Bell in between or underneath zones. I hope they play straight spy all game and play with more pressure this year.

The closer we get to this game the more and more I know the key to victory is how well we control Bell. I hope we play run first and spy Bell all game. Bell in the pass game is likely their primary weapon. I really expect the Jets to run right at Oliver with double teams and try to exploit his size to make him prove he can hold his own consistently so he will play a big role in the outcome.

I actually think losing Shady may be a plus 1 this year. He was running East / West and making moves before hitting holes because of the horrible line they used to have and add his current lack of breakout speed. Shady had almost no impact on our games last year and I like the guy but he was definitely in decline and was not a top 25 back anymore.

This game is a complete unknown. We are better defensively as they have weakness at the corners. Both teams have a lot of open questions on offense and we may have more. I say 22-19 final. Jets tie it with a TD with under 2 to play and we win it with a last second 37 yard FG. Turnovers and return games will decide this one. God we need this game.

Agreed. McCoy wasn’t going to add any game to or won loss column in my opinion. Frank splits time with the kid and is the short yardage bull and Yeldon is their receiving back.

I think that Lions game run where he hit open space and couldn’t break it was indicative of who he is. A guy who used to make a jump cut to run away from people to a guy that makes a jump cut to turn a 2 yard gain into a 5 yard gain. They need that money to roll over. The future is more important than his 65 total yards a game.
