He needs 2 TDs. If I were coaching: get him in there and don't let him see another touch until the Bills are in the Red Zone again -

He also needs 2 TDs for the most all time touchdowns by a Bill in a season -

Why does Hollins keep getting up and doing what looks like throw a flag movement? -

They really should draft a QB with a lot of raw talent. I'm not sure how many games the team wins if Mitch is in for like say 4 games. -

You know I just looked back at that Dolphins trade with the 49ers and the Dolphins traded up to pick up Waddle. If they went with WR at 3.... Chade may be on that team. So maybe it's not quite as important as I was thinking -

Wasn't there rumors in Training Camp that Milton was looking better than Drake? -

Ravens fan be like "they benched Allen in the first Quarter"! I think about Trey Lance package for the Dolphins that helped them out. I don't want that for the Pats -
I saw somewhere that they NFL should have a Cy Young like award for QBs so they can redefine the MVP. I also think the NFL should do OC and DC of the year because Aiden O'Connell rightfully desires HC of the year but man Brian Flores killed it and ofcourse so did Ben Johnson I agree and to add the Ravens are 2-5 when Lamar throws 30 times (one of those wins was in OT). So if a team is making the Ravens throws that much they have probably done a good job at slowing down Henry and therefore equates to losses
-
Hey he had back to back 16 sack seasons in 21 and 22 and only 14 in 23 and 24.... some would say he has clearly lost a step 😁
-
I'm not going to lie the Texans should probably be last. They absolutely suck. I agree with the rest and think the top 3 are interesting because I think the Bills beat the Chiefs. The Chiefs beat the Ravens and the Ravens beat the Bills. I think the Ravens knock the Bills out but if they lose in round 1 the Bills can beat any other team.

Von Miller needs 1 sack for $1.5 million

Not Bills but I hope Mike Evans keeps that 1k streak going. Dude absolutely deserves it -
They'll get something. Too many coaches and GMs jobs are based on their QB's performance. If your seat is hot like Daboll's and Pierce's you may only have one chance to keep your job so mortgaging the future means little to you (and GM) because if it works: you have a good QB that is going to help you win or you'll be fired and not have to worry about it

This is tough for me. Part of what this year showed is good RBs in bad situations can become elite in great situations. Yes Cook has been good but how much better than Ty Johnson? I think with Brady and this O-Line (and teams worried about Allen) any RB would have good numbers. Last year Gus Edwards had a 800 yard 13 TD year with the Ravens and then they got a true elite RB and now look at them. I think Cook is good but I don't know if he's even 8 million a year a good. This isn't a situation where I think it would be a mistake to pay him (like I thought with Knox) but I think you can find a RB cheaper that will give you similar production

So, how is everyone feeling about this defense going into the playoffs?
dma0034 replied to Rubes's topic in The Stadium Wall
So much of the Bills Defense is predicated on the Offense being effect. The worst part of the Ravens wasn't the Defense is what how bad the O-Line played in that game. They got beat often on blitzes. This is something I think the Offense has improved upon as the Texans did a pretty good job too and now it is much harder to get to Allen. In terms of the Defense there's a ton of factors in play. Of the playoffs teams (not counting the Bengals) the Ravens have the best Offense in the AFC that the Bills can face. If weather makes the ball more difficult to throw that is going to give the Bills a massive edge because Allen has shown he can throw in windy conditions whereas I do wonder how Lamar plays. It also allows the Bills to focus in on stopping the two headed Lamar-Henry combo. if it's perfect weather though it's going to come down to whether or not the Bills can stop Henry without breaking their base Defense. If you can't stop Henry and the LBs and Safeties start cheating the Ravens can take advantage of the lanes. Bills need to make Lamar a pocket passer but that can't happen unless you can stop Henry. Ultimately it's going to be on the D-Line and LBs -
You wonder why Dawkins and the Jets hate each other. That player had 0 chance to make a play and all three were standing. If that led to that Jets player being injuried it would look bad on Dawkins. No need for that

You talk him up and hope the Ravens are dumb enough to pick him up.

So a few things about Mahomes/Chiefs over the course of 2018-2022 1. Mahomes best stastically year was his 1st year with 50 TDs. He was put in a situation where he had arguably the best WR at the time and maybe the best TE of all time but also a defense that wasn't strong so you have to throw more (like the Bengals this year). He had 150 less passing yards than 2022 but played in one less game 2. His most impressive year is the 2022 year. They were forced to pass more because their running game wasn't great (CEH was the lead back). They utlitized a ton of screens this year and teams were slow to adjust to the new Chiefs Offense. The Two Safety shell was pretty much used to combat Mahomes and he struggled against that in 2021; then they started utilized the short passes and screens and teams still remained in the two safety shell. This is also the last year I'd consider Kelce as an elite player. In 2023 teams started going away from the 2 safety shell and without Hill being able to punish opposing teams deep the Chiefs morphed into a clock management Offense (to go with the now elite Defense). It's why they picked Worthy; but they haven't been able to hit the deep shots. Some of that is Mahomes deep accuracy (which has noticably dropped imo) and some of that is WRs not creating enough seperation. That combined with Kelce not just being open every play has led to lesser numbers for Mahomes. That said: over the course of the last 7 or so weeks they've corrected a ton of those issues. Mahomes has been playing just as well as anyone. They finally figured out (and are healthy) to have the proper WRs in the proper places

I think he's better than both of them. I know I'm on an island for this but I wasn't impressed at all with Stroud last year. They have to win and the Bucs have to lose for them to win the division
-
Rams clinch too. I think the Rams are locked at 3. I wonder if the Commanders rest the starter next week or not
-
If the Commanders don't get it on 3rd down I wonder if they go for it on 4th. Doesn't matter. Washington wins

Jayden Daniels is the closest QB to joining the "elite QB" club imo. I would bet that in 2 years we are talking about the elite tip 5 QBs
