I think they should change roughing the passer penalty, So that it’s more in line with roughing/running into the kicker. Still a flag cause you want to protect the QB but for Christ sakes 15 yards n an automatic first down for some of these calls are ridiculous. For those situations you can throw the flag but only make it a 5 yard variety.

No he wins 270. The Pats are dogs, taking them with the money line will get you your money back plus the premium minus the VIG He’d profit 270 -

Top 9 players in the draft.

I’m not trying to do a mock draft here. The point was to list MY top 9 for the Bills. I’m saying if any of the top 5 players are there I think the Bills run up to the podium, if not we may look to trade down since I don’t feel the talent drop off between the players I have listed 6-9 and the players you could get at let’s say pick 20 are all that much different. I don’t think many would believe T Edmunds would be drafted outside of the top 15 at this point last year. Crazy Things happen in the draft every year. -
I like to rank the top players I’d like the Bills to draft, so since we are drafting @ 9 it makes sense to at least rank them 1-9. Here are mine 1. Nick Bosa 2.Josh Allen 3. Quinnen Williams 4. Devin White 5. Rashan Gary Trade Down 6. Ja’Waan Taylor 7. Ed Oliver 8. Jonah Williams 9.Greg Little Where’d I go wrong

Marc's 1st Mock Draft with projected traded

Oliver, Gary, or Ja’waan Taylor. Assuming this is how the board fell, I think we’d try to trade back. I wouldn’t be surprised if teams are calling to get a QB and may be willing to give us a premium for our pick. If Devin White doesn’t go right a head of us I think we’d take him @ 9 and move Edmunds to the outside. I think he’s (D.White) the next Patrick Willis. -
GB Packers hire Nate Hackett as OC
billvernsays replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I’m not sure. What I am sure about is that : 1) Aaron Rodgers OK’d this move 2) Mike Pettine was asked his input as they both worked together here in Buffalo 3) Rodgers will be the first real legitimate NFL QB he’s ever worked with. I think you guys guys will be fine, he does a nice job of scheming players open, but with Doug Marrone as his head cause as well as a terrible QB (EJ Manuel, Kyle Ortin, Blake Bortles) it seemed too run heavy at times not very dynamic. I fully expect this to change drastically of course with Rodgers reading the defenses and adjusting the play at the line of scrimmage accordingly. I guess we’ll see though -

GB Packers hire Nate Hackett as OC
billvernsays replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I wonder if Pettine was a reason for the hire. They were OC and DC in Buffalo in 2013, is it possible they asked For Pettine’s input and he suggested Nate Hackett -
They were the OC and DC of Buffalo back in 2013 and now they are the OC and DC again in Green Bay. This time without St Doug at the helm, I wonder how well they do. I’ve always thought very highly of Pettine, I guess now we’ll see how this story plays out with a franchise QB.

Which prospect do you NOT want the Bills to draft?
billvernsays replied to LSHMEAB's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I was against the idea of a DT. But at this point I’m good with any Line position offense or defense -
Not really, I’m a big picture guy. I used Renfrow because he played in the game last night. It doesn’t have to be him specifically and he certainly doesn’t need to be white. (I specifically mentioned McKenzie along the same lines). Obviously AJ Green is more valuable right now than a 4-6th round WR. But when you take everything into consideration I’m asking what’s the better play for the franchise. AJ Green is the move if you think this team can win a Super Bowl with him, do you think we’re there yet? Matt Stafford had Calvin Johnson, probably the best WR I’ve ever seen for the better part of his career. He certainly helped Matts numbers but I’m not sure that he made Stafford a better QB. I’m just asking what’s better for us right now.
