This does make one wonder how he plans to meet his burden... But, that is what happened.
I am guessing the NFL will cave if they are forced to release all of the emails. Releasing the emails will probably cost the NFL more than a settlement with Chucky.
Best Result: He doesn't settle. He just ***** everywhere, taking his persecutors out with him, haha.
Likely result: Undisclosed Settlement.
Honestly, I do hope the offense adjusts, uses more play fakes, and begins to dink and dunk in order to cover up for the o-line deficiencies.
To that extent one could blame Daboll. Still, the loss in Jacksonville was a group effort, offensively.
Plus, as the Titans pointed out, they planned for the sneak to the left.
If there were any Bills' staff/coaches/players reading this, maybe they'd adjust. Everyone gets tunnel vision, and there is a slight chance talking about the specific tendency will eliminate it. Who knows? Go Bills!
Are you daft? Or, being sarcastic?
I mean, you can't punch another player period. If you could, imagine all the abuse that would happen. Players would always be "punching the ball" and hitting the other player on accident. Watt should have been tossed.
(earlier ITT) The accusation is that he wasn't touched when his knee hit the ground, thus his extra lunge.
The rebuttal is that he gave himself up.
However, the officials did not place the ball where they should have, if giving himself was their reasoning. This indicates that "giving himself up" was not the reason for calling him down by contact.
That makes the call wrong, on the field.
I think the NFL will say he gave himself up and therefore down. But, that rule really seems to selectively enforced, say if a player gets up or rolls into the endzone.
The record breaking kick (win) was proceeded by an aggregious delay of game (technical penalty) penalty not called.
This game, Jackson fumbled at the goal line right before they scored the TD that ended up resulting in the tie.
