    I think trusting the process is an unconditional thing. You can’t only trust what you believe. I’m all in on McD and Bean. Until I’m not.

    Well, don’t get me wrong. I’ll be pulling for the Steelers in that game - if it happens - as hard as the most committed Pitt fan. It’s not without precedent. Manning had to overcome a ton of Pats demons for that comeback win in the 2006 AFCCG

    Ben threw 5 picks in that game - he was playing poorly at that time. I doubt this game is close. NE owns Pitt under Brady. Pitt needed home field to have a shot. The Pats are deeper into their heads than even the Bills. The Steelers are terrified to go up there to try to get a win.

    I think the Steelers get past the Jags pretty easily. But if they make it through the 1st quarter in New England without curling up in the fetal position and whimpering uncontrollably, I’ll be surprised.

    We should prepare now: unless Brady gets hurt, they’re getting #6. I almost feel like I have to go through a month long dentist appointment. The only team I can see challenging them is the Saints. Payton and Brees have the experience. BB and Brady will toy with every other team.

    Today gave me great faith in McDermott. That was a well-prepared, very disciplined team out there. When we add some talent and depth, we WILL take over control of the AFCE. We finally found a real coach.

    I hate that some deride him. He is a tough dude and gave his all today. He may not be the guy going forward, but we didn’t lose because of him today. He has only ever worked hard and given his all.

    How are people saying this? His left arm was pinned against his body prior to the ball arriving. No - for anyone who has watched football for more than 2 games, you can’t just as easily say he dropped it.

    I’m amazed he’s getting heat for that play. One arm was completely pinned down. It’s incredibly silly to insist he should have made that catch.

    Wouldn’t it be amazing if Belichick walked away in the next month or so? Watch ratings improve once the AFC isn’t totally predictable. Cant wait.

    That’s probably true for most of the reign, but human nature is human nature. We’re talking about 3 massive egos - and they’re all starting to consider the legacy. This is the end, imo. I think the Pats win this year, and won’t be recognizable in 3 years.

    I want this Sunday to be a scrappy, pieced-together win. Pick 6, good special teams play, one defensive breakdown for the Jags and a few long field goals. Then, we’ll need Taylor’s best game next week.

    I really can’t see McCoy missing this game, given the recent updates. The Jags are really being portrayed as some kind of jaugernaut. I don’t see anyone nationally giving us much of a shot. If they had to play in our division, they’d probably be 8-8.
