  1. So? Are you going for some kind of "gotcha?" I view the draft the same every year. I know next to nothing. I look at a player, and if he has good attributes, I hope for the best. I try not to be disparaging, but I think they guys who come on here and post "bust" or whatever right away are total clowns. They read a few mocks, watch some youtube, and think they know as much as guys who breathe this stuff every day, all day, 365 days a year. You think Beane & the scouts missed the fact that he doesn't get "separation?" They obviously like some of his other skills much more.
  2. The difference is - I admit I don't know anything.
  3. Trade up for Franklin, and no more offensive needs this year.
  4. Didn't take long - I love the pick. But, it feels like we still need a speedster. Get someone who can stretch the field.
  5. Gabe Davis from the KC playoff game would be cool.
  6. It's easy to cherrypick. If the fans ran this team, I kinda doubt we'd be as competitive.
  7. But he gets contested catches, too. I just get tired of draft day experts. Scouts & Beane do this stuff 24x7 - no one here does anywhere near that.
  8. So, we have the usual "I've watched 10 minutes of youtube on this guy! He'll be a bust" stuff. Fans are SO predictable on draft day. None of you know anything - sorry.
  9. I always hate rooting "against" young guys who just got drafted - but what the heck, they're millionaires, they'll be fine. I hope Maye busts worse than Trubisky. I hope he's the next Leaf.
  10. I feel like his injury history would make him a little easier to trade for - I'd agree there is some risk there, but that has to be factored in to whatever we give up for him.
  11. Man, I wish Diggs could have just been a cool dude and good teammate, so we wouldn't have all of this hand-wringing about WR....
  12. Yeah - I agree w/ that. I think KC gets Worthy regardless, but if he turns into a superstar, the perception will certainly be that the Chiefs got one over on the Bills yet again.
  13. To quote Bud Fox from "Wall Street" - how many yachts can you waterski behind?
  14. I can't anymore w/ the "you don't trade w/ your biggest rival - you just don't do it." I crave more logic than that.
  15. I wouldn't mind both Deebo-lite AND Deebo-normal, personally.
  16. I think KC gave up capital that they didn't need to give up. I don't think SF was taking Worthy. We'll never know, of course. But I don't see it as lending KC any kind of helping hand. If anything, they gave us a 3rd rounder for nothing.
  17. Most KC fans I saw couldn't believe they traded up for a guy they could have easily gotten at 32. Your response doesn't make much sense, imo.
  18. How did KC take advantage of us yesterday?
  19. Like you said - there is going to be a run on WR's. If they really like a guy, I think they have to take him at 33. I like Mitchell, personally - but I know almost nothing. UNLESS there is some trade in the works for an vet WR - which I also think is very possible. But they have to get a WR tonight.
  20. For what it's worth - I went to one of KC's boards after the Worthy pick, and I'd say at least half the sentiments were "we could have gotten Worthy at 32," and a good portion were "why did we trade up and not take Mitchell?"
  21. Secretly, I was kind of hoping they'd trade up into the top 10 for one of the top WR's. But, that would be pretty careless given our situation. JA is getting paid now - we need more picks, not fewer. Beane is playing it smart.
