This was a sneaky good offseason for our offense. Kincaid brings a versatility we didn't have at TE, and will create match-up nightmares for opposing DC's. The additions of Sherfield and Harty were low key, but give us even more versatility, speed, YAC - and all 3 new additions have great hands, which is something we lacked in '22. Then you go to the RB unit. Damien Harris is the best RB we have had in years, with Cook coming into his 2nd year after coming on strong at the end of last season. They complement each other well. If Davis can get back to form, and Brown takes the leap and realizes his potential - this team could have the best offense in the league, and the best we've seen in Buffalo. And I loved the K-Gun days, but this O could be better.

If Davis can regain form (and he looked better in the playoffs overall than he did in the regular season) - it is going to be extremely difficult for any defense to cover everyone. And they have to worry about Damien Harris now, too. We're going to score a ton of points. We have been, but now we'll score more.

Wow.

Would love to go OL & LB for the next 2 picks. Not necessarily in that order.

All you can ask w/ a 1st rounder is to get a sure thing. This guy looks the part.

Red zone!

Dallas draft room looked none too happy.
-
I'd call the chances that Beane will pick someone that everyone here loves "slim."
-
We would have had half the # of draft picks over the years if posters here were making the decisions on draft weekend.
-
No impact players will be available within the course of 4 picks?
-
The draft has become like a video game or something. It's not a bad thing to hang out at your pick and take the best guy on your board.
-
We're standing pat. A lot of good teams do that in the draft sometimes - especially when they only have 6 picks.
-
I might pop out for awhile if we don't pick a WR. Just in case anyone is wondering where I went.
-
Still steep, imo.

Why all the enthusiasm for a trade up? The draft is going well for us. Beane probably has at least 3 guys he'd be happy w/ at 27 right now.
-
We only have 6 picks. I'd be shocked if we traded to move up. More likely to see a trade down if anything.

Nice to be on a couch surrounded by women & getting picked in the 1st round of the NFL draft. What am I doing wrong w/ my life?

RB's are too devalued. I'd bet that ends up being a great pick for Atlanta.

Will DeAndre Hopkins be available this offseason?
Success replied to NeverOutNick's topic in The Stadium Wall
I'm glad if this story is true. The cost/benefit wasn't there w/ Hopkins. It just would have been a splashy move that would have taken away from other areas that can move the needle more. -
I always kind of wonder when posters here say a guy was a reach, or a steal, or whatever, and then talk about where they have a player on their board - what are they basing it on? Just mocks they've seen, and some youtube? Scouts and GM's do this 24x7, and have seen more footage and done more interviews than anyone here could possibly do. I get called a homer on draft weekend, but I'm usually all in on whoever they pick. Beane hasn't been an outstanding drafter, but he has been solid, and just the work he has done in making the Bills a contender again have earned him the benefit of the doubt, at least w/ me.

The circumstances portrayed in the movie are absolutely preposterous, but I love watching it. I love the dynamics between the owner, coach & GM presented - I think that kind of push & pull is probably the most accurate thing, with each party having different priorities. And who doesn't love "pancake eating motherf****r?"
-
I have no player expectations. The only "need" I'd see if MLB - we can roll w/ what we have, but I'd like to see it addressed. Overall, when the draft is done, I'd like to be able to say something along the lines of "I love how they focused on the trenches."

A lot of googling. It may be my biggest googling night of the year. Focus on the "strengths" section of each visited page, and downplay the weaknesses.
