  1. Did you not criticize McDermott for being secretive?
  2. I'm not going to go back and forth anymore. We all know the reason why you brought up "defenses sense weakness and exploit it" when it comes to Allen being blitzed a lot. Because you want to continue the Bills didn't have good pass protection. Then you find out teams with better OL's were blitzed even more..."its one reason they blitz" LOL Weo.
  3. To the bolded 1st part. Geezus dude really? McDermott didn't tell the public everything that was happening behind closed doors because he didn't want to be held accountable? Accountable to who lol? You want a coach in which if there is a locker room dispute to air out that news to us? Why? Im not believing that you're serious...no way. To the bolded part 2. Not in any way did I say Allen is going to break record highs. I have stated very clearly I am in a wait and see and that I don't know what to expect from Brady's offense except that we will throw the ball. Where did you come up with that? Is this how far you're willing to reach to completely make up something?
  4. My entire argument is that we can't judge Brady's offense last year on what he's going to do this year. We didn't get production out of our #1 and #2 and we have replaced them. I don't know what the difference is because we haven't seen a full offseason Brady offense. I didn't ignore the data, I've explained it. I say wait and see what we got with a full offseason of him building and constructing his offense. You don't want to do that and arguing that your 8 game sample size last year is undeniable evidence we are not going to pass a lot this year.
  5. Well then what did you mean by "defenses sense weakness and exploit it"? Did defenses sense weakness in the Bills offensive line and that's why they blitzed more?
  6. Yes, that particular stat you are being overdramatic. If I am the coach and I have Josh Allen inside the 5...I'm putting the ball in his hands. He has the run/pass option from there. And you are being overdramatic about Brady's offense last year. It wasn't his offense, he took over from an offense that was painful in about a 5 game stretch. After the Dolphins blowout, we went 20, 14, 25, 24, 18 and 22 with zero signs of improvement. Dorsey's offense had life in 3 games all season. We weren't getting production out of both are #1 and #2 WR's. There was a clear issue with Allen and Diggs. Davis has never been consistent. Since we weren't getting production there, James Cook started emerging and you're criticizing Brady? Why don't you wait and see what he does with a full offseason where he can run his playbook? Instead, your just jumping to this conclusion we are going to be a this run first team. We're not. The last time you were this adamant about an opinion was Terrell Bernard and don't you think that was something you jumped the gun early on too? That turned out to be the complete opposite of what you were projecting. I guarantee you were are going to be league leaders in passing and passing attempts again. We are not going to be a run heavy offense.
  7. The NFL could pay this cash and it would barely even do anything to it's bottom line. One day, they will form their own country.
  8. I think you're being a little overdramatic. https://www.statmuse.com/nfl/ask/josh-allen-rushing-touchdown-distance-average-2023 You can look at the average distance per TD. It's about 3.5 ypc which means almost all of them are near or at the goaline. That doesn't mean we are going in the direction of being a running team. It means Josh Allen is a weapon at the goal line because he can run, pass or sneak it in. If you're at the 1, it's like a 97% success rate he's going to sneak it in so that's why you do it. I don't want to take away Allen's true dual threat. I 100% agree with Leslie Frazier saying defenses can play back more when you don't have the threat of Allen running. Allen loves to throw down field, him running prevents them just sitting back.
  9. Would that move your wanker?
  10. 12 sacks. NFL Comeback Player of the Year Award....you hater.
  11. Interesting. So you only blitz weak offensive lines often. I did not know that. I guess that means Philly, Green Bay and Detroit had even worse offensive lines because they were blitzed more often. Because you know, the defense sense the weakness and exploit it. https://www.fantasypros.com/nfl/advanced-stats-qb.php
  12. When the defense blitzes, does that mean pressure comes faster?
  13. People look like they smoke in that bar...I think I will pass.
  14. Allen is also heavily blitzed so he is going to be pressured more often because of it. Here's the thing that Weo doesn't understand. Lets say Allen gets pressured quickly from a blitz but that leaves a spot where can get out a scramble for a big gain. That's is not a negative on the offensive line.
  15. I found your link. https://www.fantasypros.com/nfl/advanced-stats-qb.php?year=2020 In 2020, he was 4th in attempts that went for 20 or more yards 10.8% Top 5 were Mahomes at 11.3%, Watson at 12.6%, Brady at 10.3% and Cousins at 11.2% So is the argument now that all QB's in 2020 were Captain Checkdowns? In 2020, Allen was the MOST BLITZED QB IN THE NFL by ALOT. He was blitzed 244 times and second place was Russell Wilson....205 times. In 2023, Allen was: - 5th in 10+ yard throws - 11th in 20+ yard throws - 9th in 30+ yard throws - 7th in 40 and 50+ yard throws. - 4th most blitzed QB In 2023, Allen was 2.3 pocket time and Patrick Mahomes was 2.6 pocket time...Allen was blitzed 182 times and Mahomes was 132 times. So if I do the math, that means Allen was blitzed 50 more times and blitzing usually means pressure gets there faster.... Do you think there's something there?
  16. The biggest complaint about Allen is that he didn't take the short pass and always went downfield. Now I guess he doesn't go downfield often and throws the short passes too much?
  17. I think the stereotype of the Star Wars/Pixar audience is changing. It's not just nerds or sci-fi geeks who openly like them now. I have never seen a Star Wars but love all Pixar movies. I went to Disney World once as a kid and will never go there again. I don't think my son even has interest and he's 9. I will watch Pixar movies when I'm not with my son. I will go to a theatre to watch a good Pixar movie. I have several friends who are obsessed with Star Wars. The Bills Bar by me is decorated with Bills memorabilia and Star Wars because the owner is obsessed with it. These friends will go to the theatre multiple times to watch the new Star Wars or they go every time a theatre is showing the originals. None of the guys are nerds or sci-fi geeks and many of them are bad mother f******. 1917 was an original? That was a great movie.
  18. I think we had to run the ball more because we weren't getting passing production from our #1 or #2 WR's. Both Davis and Diggs disappeared in the 2nd half.
  19. If this is based on pure totals, the number of passing attempts factors into this and we are always in the top end. I also believe Allen holds the ball longer than most QB's because he likes to get the ball downfield.... There is always context in base stats.
  20. He was an issue before this hit. You feel sympathy for a thief and sexual assaulter? https://www.si.com/nfl/steelers/news/pittsburgh-steelers-antonio-brown-loses-million-dollar-lawsuit https://www.foxsports.com/stories/nfl/former-steelers-bucs-wr-antonio-brown-faces-new-lawsuits-in-florida https://www.ballmccannlaw.com/single-post/legal-battles-of-antonio-brown
  21. Trade for Justin Jefferson now?
  22. I don't either. Siran Neal couldn't cover Kelce as a 4th stringer. Was our 2nd or 3rd stringer going to cover Kelce? All Pro's can't cover Kelce and I certainly hope we aren't relying on 3rd and 4th stringers to get us to the Super Bowl.
  23. If you are down to D or F WR's, it's not going to make a difference at all....difference between a 3rd and 4th stringer is neglible. You don't want to be in position to have any of them on the field. Both strategies aren't good but it's what you have to deal with.
  24. Over. Von Miller makes a big comeback and gets 8 sacks. AJ will be around 6. Rousseau has his career year with 7-8 sacks.
