  1. Please Davis be our 3rd down receiving back so I don't have to have anxiety every time the Bills throw to Cook.
  2. So Allen has a 50% completion percentage at the goaline....Warren Sharp is correct about him. It doesn't matter that we scored, it matters that half of Allen's passes went incomplete at the goaline.
  3. Tre White saved us $10 million. Floyd signed a 1 year contract. We don't have any dead money. Mitch Morse saved $8.5 million. Poyer saved $5.7 million Harty saved $4.3 million Hyde is a FA Bates saved $1.4 million. Diggs is the only dead money from players released/traded.
  4. Draft picks ride on top of American Bison's?
  5. Matt Milano makes a Willis Reed entrance into Highmark for the divisional round of the playoffs.
  6. Was that the argument? Roughly 6 sacks a season from your late first round pick isn’t bad. Especially when he has a ton of QB hits and TFL.
  7. By the end of Shaq Lawson's 3rd season, he had 10 sacks, 12 TFL and 21 QB hits. By the end of Greg Roussea's 3rd season, he has 17 sacks, 30 TFL and 42 QB hits. Yep, they are very same.
  8. No it's not. Big Ben, Peyton Manning, Patrick Mahomes and Tom Brady have been in the top 10 in QB's salaries and they made up the majority of the Super Bowls in the AFC in the last 20 years. You're not seeing that type of ROI from the highest paid WR's in the league. If they are, let me know...
  9. You can't take on another significant dead cap two years in a row.
  10. But those 3 have, one has 3. So basically it went from Brady to Mahomes.
  11. Not sure if this means anything or not but of the top 20 highest paid WR, only 2 has rings and one of the two, Tyreek Hill, has it with a different team. https://overthecap.com/position/wide-receiver
  12. Bills: - You know my big one...Von Miller double digit sacks. - Allen 50 total TD's. - Dalton Kincaid makes 1st or 2nd Team All Pro - Khalil Shakir leads the NFL in total YAC NFL - Texans take a step back. They will be a 6 or 7 seed. - Eagles do not make the playoffs - The Steelers finish with a losing record for the first time in Tomlin's career.
  13. I looked at the game log, he had one tackle meaning he probably wasn't really ready to play and just for emergencies. It was the Super Bowl, he probably just pushed through it. Milano tore his a few days ago so 4 months is what I have been seeing on the web for recovery times. So that's mid November to me.
  14. There was no need to Slater back in. By the time he was healthy enough to come back, the Chargers were on a major skid and no hope for the playoffs. They lost 8 out of their last 9. Odum went on IR on November 27th and returned for the Super Bowl. So I believe we are looking at mid November at best for Milano.
  15. We are looking at probably mid November for a return. It'll be Spector.
  16. Or it's because they won the coin toss and they had the ball last? A special teams blunder gave them another opportunity?
  17. Nate Geary had stats on WGR this morning. Allen attempted 17 passes inside the 5 yard line with 7 TD passes. He did have 15 rushing TD's and you expect the majority of them to be at the goal line. This is why I don't think this stat means much. We still usually scored.
  18. In the 13 seconds game, the Chiefs defense gave up 3 TD's in 3 minutes. When the Chiefs offense was putting up points, their defense kept giving it up to us. Do you think it's a lot harder to beat Patrick Mahomes with 3 out of your top 4 linebackers out and the one that played, Dodson, was playing through an injury? Not to mention, 2 starters out in the secondary in Rapp and Benford. Rapp was our back up safety already so we were down to our 3rd safety. I would be disappointed in the Bills offense if they didn't put up points if the Chiefs were missing McDuffie, Nick Nolton, Willie Gay, Justin Reid and Mike Edwards in that game. Allen didn't have control over that or the Diggs drop. That's not the point. The point is Mahomes is considered the better QB just because he has the hardware and Allen doesn't. Regardless if Allen is more talented. You are measured by championships....that was my point.
  19. Stats don’t always reflect context. Yes, he has a good catch %. But the reason he is being criticized for drops is because he has too many very easy drops on TD’s. Like balls you should catch nearly 100% of the time. These are completely uncontested balls like he has them beat pretty well, away from traffic, ball not rocketed or fit in a tight space….just a perfectly thrown ball. We win the Eagles game if he catches that ball. Had his man beat on a vertical route and placed perfectly….drop. Cowboys game isn’t talked about as much because we blew them out and he ran the ball well. Still, very easy pass that he drops. Chiefs playoff game. I believe we scored a TD anyway but again, very easy 3-4 yard crossing route, hit him in the stomach and just dropped. The Dolphins game, down by 7 before the half. Again, very simple ball to catch. He is wide open, thrown perfectly. It costs us 7 points. He has a drop problem and basic non-contextual stats aren’t a good rebuttal against it.
  20. Yes I know but this thread is about a specific offensive stat.
  21. You can move the line anywhere and make stats out of it. Not great passing within the 3…what about the 5? Is that still considered meat left on the bone? This is just passing. We score a lot. As fans, we have unrealistic expectations sometimes when you have a QB as good as Allen. He is elite inside the 20 but passing inside the 3 that doesn’t happen that often…we are looking for the negative? We are #1 in the last 5 years in ppg.
  22. Was Corey Davis a better Football player than Corey Feldman was an actor?
