  1. What happened to this guy? I know he had a knee injury but that was week 10 in 2021 and he had 1 sack coming into that game. 0 sacks last year in 3 games. Small sample size but in his last 13 games...1 sack.
  2. You are the most confusing person to talk to. Yep, those 6 more catches as a career high that McKenzie has over Harty is a big separator. Last year Harty was injured. So lets use Harty's 2021 and McKenzie's 2022 when they were both last healthy. Harty - 36 catches, 570 yards, 15.9 yard average, 3 TD's/Starting QB's that year for the Saints (Trevor Siemian, Jamies Winston, Ian Book and Taysom Hill) McKenzie - 42 catches, 423 yards, 10.1 yard average, 4 TD's/Starting QB's last year for the Bills (Josh Allen). So yes, to predict that Harty can have better production than McKenzie is a fairy tale. Look at those numbers above....so lopsided in McKenzie's favor that it's not even close. The QB situation cannot be used as an excuse because the talent level and stability is the same.
  3. They are people in this world that have lost everything...house, car, savings etc Gambling makes people do incredibly stupid things.
  4. It's definitely hard, which is why long term success and dynasties are rare. But I think every roster is overturned a lot over the course of 3-4 seasons. Look how different our team is from 2019. The replacements just have to be as good or better. As long as you have a franchise QB, you're going to be in the running for the playoffs at least. The Aaron Rodgers, Tom Brady, Big Ben, Marino, Kelly, Manning etc were in the playoffs pretty much every year.
  5. I think it's easy to say they're stupid, the act is of course but there are reasonably intelligent people who make stupid mistakes for different motivations. Especially when it comes to gambling. When I was 25, I was bartending and had a great night in tips. I just wanted to go home and sleep but got talked into going to the casino. I lost everything I made that night and more. I had to work multiple double shifts in a row to get money back. So yeah, the smart thing to do is to just stay away and not be dumb. It shouldn't shock anyone that a 25 year old did something stupid.
  6. We just established on the last page that this is something that can't be proven. Now you're asking for something that we can't give. The only thing we can do is predict or project. But if someone projects good numbers, you shoot it down because you have this firm stance that no one can have a career year....because they haven't done it yet. You're asking for hindsight right now.
  7. I'm not going to speak on others behalf. I don't say facts unless they are legitimate facts and not opinions. , There's two ways of looking at opinions on pretty much any subject in life...glass half full or half empty. I'm not a pessimist in general.
  8. Yes, you're right there is no guarantee in anything. But if you know that, why do you always argue with the word "guarantee?" You know it's not possible because we can't prove it but you always use it.
  9. I don't see why Harty and Kincaid can't be on the field at the same time. Aaron Hernandez, Gronk and Edleman were always on the field together.
  10. I know I've came to you multiple times on Ed because I've been a little disappointed in his production. But between you and @MrEpsYtown, I trust your analysis and now am pro-Ed on this contract. I watched the Cover 1 breakdown and I'm starting to see what you guys are seeing in his game. I still want more splash plays but I'm not uncomfortable with him anymore.
  11. I remember when Madden in 2006 came out, I was living in LA and I had a 31 year old roommate. He camped outside of Best Buy for 3 days in a tent just so he could be one of the first to get it when the doors opened. The thing is, there were probably over 100 people doing the same thing. I don't know if its the same in the UK but here in the US, video games are a big deal!
  12. Other teams do it. I don't think we are even at the top of the league in DL rotations. The Eagles had the 3rd most sacks in NFL history last year. https://www.nbcsportsphiladelphia.com/nfl/philadelphia-eagles/a-hidden-advantage-of-rotating-defensive-linemen-for-eagles/255675/ The Eagles have nine interior linemen or overhang players — edge rushers — who’ve played between 23 and 63 percent of the defensive snaps. That’s rare balance and rare depth. And it means somebody is constantly running off the field and joining his teammates on the sideline. Which leads to impromptu positional meetings while the offense is on the field. “Any time you relay information with each other it gives you a little edge,” Jordan Davis said. “We’re all trying to figure out any tendencies, anything to do with the snap call, the way the offensive line is set, anything like that. “Because it’s football and each week is going to be different and what you see on the field might not be the same thing that you saw on film, so you get those little tips and pointers, and when it’s your turn to go out there you feel a little bit more prepared for what you’re going to see.” Edge rushers Josh Sweat and Haason Reddick have played the most snaps out of this group – both have played 131 snaps, or 63 percent of the Eagles' defensive plays. Javon Hargrave (57 percent), Fletcher Cox (56 percent), Milton Williams (45 percent), Graham (41 percent), Marlon Tuipulotu (39 percent), Davis (32 percent) and Patrick Johnson (23 percent) are also in the regular rotation.
  13. It seems that you believe if you win a playoff game, it's because the defense did their job. Did the Chiefs defense do their job against the Eagles this year when they played in the Super Bowl when they gave up 35? Did the Chiefs defense do their job against the Bills when they gave up 36? Or were these offensive shootouts? I'll let you answer that.
  14. Here you go again making things up. The Titans did nothing all year??? By week 11, they were 7-3 and holding the #3 seed. One of those losses was to the Chiefs when Malik Willis was starting at took the Chiefs into overtime in Arrowhead. This is a case of you basically lying to make your point "stronger". The Lions beat 3 playoff teams in their streak lol. They were a top scoring offense lol.
  15. Chiefs beat 9 teams sub .500 record Eagles beat 8 teams sub .500 record That's a fact. Why do you only discount the Bills for beating sub .500 teams? Also, if you're a top team like the Bills, Bengals, Chiefs, Eagles, 49ers....most teams are inferior. Like the vast majority is inferior. Lets just use the Super Bowl Champion Chiefs. They only play 5 teams that made the playoffs last year. Would you say with the opponents below, are they going to be superior or inferior team in most of these games? Will they be favored or not favored in most of these games? Week 1: vs. Lions (TNF) Week 2: at Jaguars Week 3: vs. Bears Week 4: at Jets (SNF) Week 5: at Vikings Week 6: vs. Broncos (TNF) Week 7: vs. Chargers Week 8: at Broncos Week 9: vs. Dolphins (Frankfurt) Week 10: BYE Week 11: vs. Eagles (MNF) Week 12: at Raiders Week 13: at Packers (SNF) Week 14: vs. Bills Week 15: at Patriots (MNF) Week 16: vs. Raiders Week 17: vs. Bengals Week 18: at Chargers TBD
  16. PBR...it's disgusting. For awhile, it was a hipster drink here in Atlanta. It seems to be a regular in Buffalo and I don't know why. There is cheaper better beer.
  17. It would do a lot but that feeling wouldn't last for long if we just disappoint for the next near decade. Disappoint doesn't mean just losing in the playoffs...it means losing to teams constantly that you shouldn't lose to. It sucks when teams like the Bengals and Chiefs beat us but they're very good too...you can swallow that. But what if the Bills lose to a team today like the Titans or Pats in the 1st round of the playoffs? Like Sean Payton did when he lost to Case Keenum, a 7-9 Seahawks Matt Hasselback team, Nick Foles, Kirk Cousins etc.... You're one of the most vocal negative people on here...your posting would be on steroids of anger. When you have a QB at the level Allen can be at, you don't want to look at almost 20 years of his play to only get 1....only make it to one Super Bowl as well. When you have a QB at the level of Allen and you miss the playoffs 35% of his career, that's extremely disappointing. I wouldn't trade a short term joy for many years of disappointment.
  18. There's no way in hell you wouldn't complain if McDermott wins one Super Bowl with Allen after 16 seasons. That would be 9 more seasons? In those 9 seasons we miss the playoffs 4 times and lost to below average starting QB's like a Case Keenum and Nick Foles when we make the playoffs? And what if one of those teams was below .500 that beat us in the playoffs? I'm going to say you try to invite McDermott back to your place and blast Huey Lewis and the News.
  19. Lol…right. Lets just revisit your the defense will take a major step back statement in 6 months.
  20. Sean Payton was the coach for 16 years and missed the playoffs 6 times with Drew Brees as his QB. If Sean McDermott wins it this year and we miss the playoffs for 3 straight years and then miss it a few more times over the next 7-8 seasons…Bills fans would be happy?
  21. Then you become the Saints for that 5 year or so period where they had Drew Brees and multiple other high level talented players and went 7-9 three years in a row.
  22. You went through all that and it's all meaningless lol. Most teams do not make the playoffs. Most teams do not have franchise QB's. Every good team in the NFL faces mostly bad to average teams with a few big games a year. Unless you think teams like the Chiefs and Eagles play nothing but playoff teams in the regular season lol. Wanna know a cool stat? The Chiefs beat 9 teams last year sub .500. The Eagles beat 8 teams last year sub .500 Both of them trash? Let me guess...only for the Bills. Do we discredit the Pats because they had two teams in their divisions with long playoff draughts. The Bills at 17 years, the Jets currently at 12 years and the Dolphins made the playoffs a few times in Brady's reign. That was at least 5 easy wins for them every year. So we've beaten the teams that we are supposed to and yet you criticize lol. You cherry picked a different reason why each win was meaningless lol....just reaching and reaching and reaching. "Lions 4-7 at the time" - well they did win 5 out of their last 6 after the Bills including beating the Jags by 3 scores. They were also 5th in the league in scoring. Let me guess...5th in the league in scoring means you're trash. Yeah the Rams were a 5-12 team but that kinda happens when you lose Aaron Donald, Cooper Cupp and Matt Stafford. They were at full stretch game 1 against us. The defense didn't give up 33 to the Vikings. If Josh Allen fumbles the ball in the endzone and the Vikings recover it, that doesn't count against our defense. I know you will try to argue that it does but it doesn't. The defense also stopped the Vikings on 4th down to give us the ball back. And Allen had one of his worst games of the season with 3 turnovers. The defense didn't give up 31 to the Dolphins in the playoffs. Again, when Allen fumbles the ball and the Dolphins player recovers it in the end zone, that doesn't count against our defense. Lets also talk about the two other turnovers that gave the Dolphins the ball in the redzone and the other at the 40. Not to mention a punt return in the redzone. The Dolphins also played terribly on offense. Skylar Thompson was 18 of 45. Wilson was their leading rusher with 23 yards total. Hill was their leading WR with 69 yards. They were 4 of 16 on 3rd down. They had 230 total yards and averaged 3.3 yards per play. You're right, the defense was awful.
