Cook/Shakir/Oliver/Benford vs Hall/Wilson/Williams/Gardner
Matt_In_NH replied to Chugga's topic in The Stadium Wall
But the thread is about talent not cap. Those players will cost more than the bills by a lot. -

You are not crazy you are just super biased to the bills. All the players for the jets are way more talented than the players you list for the bills. 32 of 32 NFL GMs would take the jets players over the four bills players. They are all more talented and it has shown in nfl. There is a lot to be said about scheme and coaching. -
TNF. Jets Texans. Who do we want to win tonight?

He probably would be the first who wanted to be traded in a contract year only to re sign next offseason! Evidently Ingram is also playing at a higher level than elam. I would say it has some to do with what you said but also that the team is not happy with elams play. All things being equal he is by far the most athletic of them.

Brady under fire for calling Josh a "spaz" on Sunday's broadcast...

I am ok with that….its not like you can’t say what you want to say with other words -
Brady under fire for calling Josh a "spaz" on Sunday's broadcast...
Matt_In_NH replied to eball's topic in The Stadium Wall
I think the idea here is if you use the word in its later connotation that belittles someone's medical condition it is wrong. It does not mean the word cannot be used in its actual meaning but sometimes that become taboo also. Using the "R word" for instance, when people use it in its slang form, it is meant to convey "stupid and useless" which is not the definition of the word. Someone with Down's or someone who has a loved one with Down's could be offended by this since they do not view them as stupid and useless. People get upset because it is not appropriate to use words in some contexts but if they were on the other side of it they would see what it really is like to be referred to that way. Having said all that, I think this particular infraction can be a learning opportunity and as much as I don't like Brady, I am not judging him over this. -
What does Elam and a pick get you in this market?

7 tds and 1 int while going 2-1….

Hopefully this goes as well as the move the titans made. Unfortunately it will be better than that.

Or pay for a 600 million dollar stadium overrun. That is like to grow to over a billion

Bills are screwed. And let’s do a founded to lift the sky off the op

Hard to tell. They could sign him to the ps and release fire tomorrow. The only way to get him to pa is to first waive him. Personally I like Evans better by a lot. Man this thread show how people don’t know how IR works My dream. But this move would have zero relevance

Well the whole get traded, tear up the deal to become a UFA at years end just blew up on him.

Diggs hurt (Torn ACL - out for the season)

They cannot make another team do anything. They would have to agree. You don’t know what drove the trade but you think you do , it’s fine. Let’s move on. -
only if he needs at least 4 weeks to get heathy otherwise absolutely no

When Cooper caught his one pass, it really sounded like a home game.

They did not pay him 31M to not play for the Bills, they took an accelerated cap charge, it happens all the time. Agree to disagree........ -

Never Followed PFF..After This, Never Will
Matt_In_NH replied to Rich Stadium Original's topic in The Stadium Wall
People need an example of Josh Allen to get butt hurt enough to ignore PFF? I mean there have been thousands of similar or worse examples. Also, I view PFF as one metric in and of itself is not super telling. Kind of like completion percentage. One qb can have a better completion percentage but that does not make him better than someone with a lower number. Now PFF is supposed to be a one number thing but it has been shown to not be that forever. And the numbers tend to get better with more samples. -
I agree the class looks good. They like grable but sure he has not played as a swing tackle. He can come back at some point. I would like to see bishop get more play time because he has physical tools Hamlin does not but need to be patient I guess. With Solomon yes it’s good he has gotten home but keep in mind he gets to play at the end of games and can pin his ears back , might loook a lot different if he has to play meaningful snaps.

Matt_In_NH replied to fasteddie's topic in The Stadium Wall
No one really knows why the trade happened. Beane signed him to an extension one year earlier and never got one game of the extension yet paid lots of cap for it. Was that really his plan? Is it not plausible Diggs pushed for the trade? -

He wasn’t given the choice or the bills were forced into a trade? -
Do the Bills now get Medicare?

He is a good player, I was surprised how cheap he was in the offseason.
