The MVP Race is 3 Players & Why they Can Win
Matt_In_NH replied to Wizard's topic in The Stadium Wall
It has really gotten to be ridiculous, it is a QB with great stats on the 1 seed....not sure why it has morphed to that. Jackson did not deserve it last year. He has a better case this year IMO yet he is not in front. I think Goff could become a contender if they beat the Bills. -
No to the bolded, the numbers said go. It is scary to take those 4th downs but it was the right move to give themselves the best chance to win regardless of anyones confidence in Bass.

Those single points are going to be huge, they say it ever time!

Because shoe horning the outcome yesterday as analysis that they would have won last year is an ridiculous. Using injuries as an excuse is sad, teams have injuries all the time. I am not disputing the Bills were at a large disadvantage at LB and CB, they were but they could have won that game and also, they could have lost yesterday. When these teams play it is close. You call winning a game against a team you lost to last year in a certain manner "irrefutable" evidence they would have won last year as some kind of analysis? Some players are different, some coaches are different, the injury situations are different. The premise of this thread is outrageous, nothing that happened yesterday shows what might have been different last year. Every game in the NFL is a unique entity. To the bolded, can you show where I said there was no irrefutable evidence we would not have won? My point is it has no relevance.

They were saying the bills were playing a lot of man and yet Elam was a scratch. Would have thought that is when he is used. -

Josh and the OL were really good in pass pro. Lots of blitzes and no sacks yet Josh held the ball at times and was able to move around the pocket. Run blocking was another story but the chiefs are hard to run on. -

It’s true this game means nothing if you lose to them in the playoffs. But this game on the schedule now is inportant and while they could win or lose in the playoffs no matter what happened today this was the better result. Bills fans do t think this was a Super Bowl, we know exactly what it is. -

Tell that to the Steelers. Also settling for a fg is much better than settling for an int. They have 16 points in a half vs that defense. On pace for four tds. What are you watching? -

It was a bad challenge. But they also did not want to leave them 13 seconds. It was a good drive. -

I dont have a good feeling about this game after listening to various podcasts.....Chiefs like to run and convert on 3rd downs...Bills don't like to stop the run and allow 3rd down conversations. They gotta find a way to get some stops. -

Giorage and Davidson elevated. Not good for Brown but maybe it’s a gametime decision.
