Lee Smith was WIDE open on Allen's dart to Davis

But I saw where the 49ers knew exactly what the Bills were doing. Lol, slight hiccup there. -

Enjoyed that game like a mofo. Tomorrow will be a good day. I shall skip and sing songs of joy all day long. -
Kick the tires on WR Marvin Hall?

I think so too. Best to have him 100% or as close to it as possible for the stretch and into playoffs imo. I think that would be the right/smart decision. -
Ref's for the Bills game are... (update - Week 17)

Oh ok, thanks. I must have misread. Thought you meant for the 49ers game. I thought they were awful last Sunday myself, but anyways thanks for the clarification with the refs. -

Yeah really, another flaw in the officiating I've noticed. I don't watch other games that often, but do they do this with other teams/games as well. Sometimes it seems they blow the whistle to quick and then very noticeably wait forever to blow it when the Bills RB or whoever are in a pile of defenders. It's like they are giving the defenders extra time to try and strip the ball loose, It's crazy. -

I hope we never see this particular officiating crew again. They were beyond awful. Really?! The same crew that ruled the obvious catch (by Kroft I believe) an INT? Another crew I was hoping not to see again. I didn't catch names for that crew that called the catch an INT but I hope they aren't officiating Monday night. -
AJ Klein: Tremaine Edmunds "a True Mike"
Patrick Duffy replied to Thurman#1's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Yes that is very frustrating. Think he has had, I want to say 2 times that a ball has hit him directly in his hands and he dropped the INT. He can be frustrating sometimes, but IMO there is just no denying that his play has improved since the injury. It may not be the improvement that we all want for a 1st round pick, but nevertheless his play has gotten better. The whole Defense has gotten better thankfully. They were down right awful for a bit there. -

Exactly, I agree. Yes the passing game struggles when Brown is out. Most are well aware, but I don't think it's enough to go outside your own people, not yet anyways. Davis may not have quite the speed as Brown, but he is a VERY reliable WR and doing a hell of a job as a rookie. I'm interested to see Hodgins, I recall during camp (J. Brown I believe) said that Davis and Hodgins were doing a great job and that they didn't seem like rookies. Something along those lines anyways. So I'm interested in seeing what he can do, obviously depending on how much playing time he gets. -

Also I think the Bills will once again address the TE position in the offseason. Take another swing at it so to speak. Would be great if they could luck up and land a player similar to Kelce or any TE that defenses have to worry about. Doesn't necessarily have to be an elite TE but just a good, reliable one would make a huge difference. -

Definitely happy that his play has improved a good amount the last few games. Seems the injury effected him a lot more than some may have believed. It's very noticeable how he has played the last few games post injury compared to earlier. I have read some posters that have said they think he should be moved to outside, however I don't necessarily agree with that. He has been in this same role on the same Defense the whole time and I'd like to think he knows what he's doing in his position especially by now. Also think he will still get better, especially if the Dline improves. That will obviously help him also. -
Week 13: Bills at 49ers on MNF (in Arizona)
Patrick Duffy replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Yes, I believe you are correct. Bills are a very good team and I cant' wrap my head around them being the under dog against some of these teams. Don't get me wrong, I mean I don't care and it does not bother me. It's just kind of surprising. -

And sometimes if you notice they will start will those bogus calls when the Bills (or any team for that matter) start to get too far ahead. That way they can try to keep it within the spread. Lol, I know (tin foil hat). It does seem to happen though when a team is pulling away and up by 17-20 plus points. The b.s starts to happen. Not saying that some teams don't ever rally back because they do. However I have been paying a little more attention to it than usual and it just seems a little fishy to me. I knoiw, I agree. Maybe Vegas is trying to see how many ppl will take the bait. It definitely doesn't make sense to me. I would think the Bills be favored by 3 or at least by 1.
