OLINE/QB UNFORCED ERROR REVIEW - ALL 22 - WEEK 6 GIANTS
Walking Tall replied to Bocephuz's topic in The Stadium Wall
I think that sums it up. Sloppy. -
No, Ed had him low and Taylor got away.
-
I don’t disagree with your philosophy but it sure seems as if the brain trust for the Bills does. And maybe Harty is the answer to begin with? It goes back to my statement of the Bills coaching staff and player usage. Harty has done nothing to show he is or isn’t the answer. And, IMO, that isn’t his fault.

Was Elam ok or could the Giants just not take advantage of him?

He played decent. He should get significant playing time in the future even with Jackson returning. -
The Bills can’t seem to incorporate the players they have now into their offense. What makes anyone think trading for a player would be the answer when this coaching staff has shown time and again to not be able to plug in and play skill players?

Suggestions on how to address the Bills sudden offensive struggles?

Knox is playing injured? What is the injury? Broken hands? -
Anyone notice how Oliver HAD Taylor on that scramble and if he brought him down that is probably the game as time very well may have expired? Not being critical of Ed. He’s having a great year but if we had a different outcome that play would have been magnified.
-
Line up Groot and Oliver on the inside and Floyd and Epenesa on the edges on obvious passing situations.
-
And the Giants had Barkley for the first time since week 2. 9 points against. That is the stat that matters.
-
Oh yeah? Well it seems as if they lost their PTSD in the second half when they scored all their points and gave up 3 on defense.
-
I’m not going to pile in a guy with his resume coming off an ACL so I’ll just say he is very ineffective. Hopefully that will change as time progresses.

We need someone that can be a reliable target in the seams and over the middle. A slot WR. We spent a lot of money on one TE and drafted another in the first round and I hoped they would be it but so far, no dice. I’d say make a trade but the Bills seem to have a difficult time incorporating new skill players into their offense so I don’t think that is the answer. -
Mmmm, OK. He won’t catch 14TD’s and he won’t have 1000 yards. That I can be pretty much sure of.
-
I’m speaking of any passes he threw. His passing was not an issue. That across his body throw to Morris showed that:
-
It really isn’t absurd. At all.
-
The sooner they can cut that stiff the better. Send him, Davis and Dorsey packing.
-
Yeah, Josh should have thrown a better pass but any NFL pass catcher should come up with that catch. The contract they gave to Knox is ***** ridiculous. The guy has some of the worst hands going.
-
They scored a TD but that 2nd and goal from inches away and they lined up in a shotgun was a fireable offense.
-
He may have but I saw nothing on any pass that told me he was hurting.
-
We won but….after the last 2 weeks I just don’t feel this team is a contender. Our offense is putrid.

NY Giants @ Buffalo Bills - SNF 2nd half game thread
Walking Tall replied to Simon's topic in The Stadium Wall
I’m sorry you don’t understand that the Bills defense has been lights out this season. But carry on.
