They day they changed the logo from the standing buffalo to the current charging buffalo with what appears to be an arrow to its head. That was a sign that the Bills would continually shoot themselves from that day forward. Until they return to the standing buffalo, this curse will remain in effect.

Kneel Down Game: Final Nail in McD’s Coach Coffin

With no way of me being able to prove different, or you for that matter, If the Bills bottom out I’d be shocked if a move isn’t made at HC. -
13 seconds Philadelphia game 2023 New England game Hail Murray This years Patriots game belongs in there because McDermott’s defense made Mac Jones look like Tom Brady.
-
The Bills ARE loaded. Their roster, from top to bottom, was the envy of the NFL the past two seasons. People RAVED about how deep they were. How aggressive did McDermott’s defense look to you last night on that 3rd and 3 in OT at the Bills 39? You know, the one that he had his CB’s playing soft on the outside, about 8 yards off the line, and Philly converted on an easy pitch and catch?
-
So, who holds McDermott accountable? The defense, under Frazier, was much better than what we are seeing under McDermott. And he’s the head coach of a loaded football team that is 6-6 and a major disappointment.

No, last night doesn’t beat anyone. It didn’t beat the Eagles and probably won’t beat the Chiefs. In my opinion the Chiefs defense is a lot better than the Eagles is. -
Yes, Dorsey is 100% on McDermott. I don’t care if there were influences when he made that hire. The Bills were in a championship window and he hired someone that never called a game or implemented an offense. And why does Sean McDermott have a job when his defense can’t stop anyone when the game is on the line? When is he going to be held accountable? He sure likes to hold other coaches accountable. And players. (See Cook benched again early after his drop yesterday.) Screw Sean McDermott. The ultimate do as I say and not as I do guy in this league. He looks in the mirror and sees others.
-
The Bills defense can’t stop the best teams (Eagles) or the worst teams (Patriots-Giants) from driving the field when the game is on the line. The responsibility for that lies right at the feet of Sean McDermott.
-
If it’s all on the players then why did McDermott fire Dorsey? I guess it’s only truly on the players when it’s defense and McDermott is the coach? It’s the players fault that they can’t stop anyone on defense when the game is on the line…no matter the quality of our opponent.
-
Right. And, everyone knows McDermott didn’t blame Leslie for that game. He blamed the special teams coach and fired him. Frazier was last season’s McDermott scapegoat. This year it has been Ken Dorsey. Meanwhile, Sean’s defense can’t stop any offense when the game is on the line. Who will he blame for that?

That’s what draft picks are for. There are some very good WR’s coming out this season. Get one.

Yes. Read my post.

Sean’s a good man and a decent coach…..but it’s time to go Old Yeller on his coaching career in Buffalo.

Because it was. Watch closer.

We gave up 30 points in 6 drives in a little over 30 minutes. Unfortunately for the Bills it wasn’t a 35 minute game.

Seriously? How about allow yet ANOTHER team to drive the field on his defense at the end of regulation and in OT when everything is on the line? How about his defense coughing up a 10 point lead in the 4th quarter? How about giving up 30 points in Philadelphia’s last 6 drives? How about playing his DB’s 8 yards off the LOS on a 3rd and 3 in OT? How about wasting a timeout trying to ice a kicker on a 59 yard FG when that timeout could have been better spent attempting to get back into FG range yourself if the Philly kicker makes that 59 yard FG? How about kneeling on the ball with a chance to get into FG range when you have Josh Allen as your QB?- 191 replies

I don’t care if you were at the game or not. Were you standing right next to these fans? What did they clip out? Some white guy yelling the N word? And that led to those players having a confrontation with a black person? Not buying it. At all.
-
Why are you saying that? The guy he pushed appears to be black. Are you just trying to start something to rile people up?

Not happening. Last night was a demoralizing loss. One that they will not bounce back from. -
Isn’t that Jordan Phillips?….edit…it was Lawson. Dumb.

I get Gabe Davis is a good blocker but I’d like to have a #2 wide receiver that actually is a consistent contributor catching the ball instead of being known as the House Ballard of wide receivers. Put him on my missing list.

McDermott’s defense coughed up a 3 point lead to the Lions on Detroit’s last drive. (Hmmmm….McDermott’s defense failing? You don’t say?) Game tied at 25. Detroit kicks off. No return. We get the ball at our own 25 with 23 seconds left. 16 seconds and 3 plays later, the Bills line up and kick the game winner. https://sports.yahoo.com/josh-allen-and-bills-put-together-a-21-second-drive-in-final-seconds-to-beat-lions-205000531.html Yes, the Bills had 3 timeouts v. Detroit but should have had 2 against the Eagles (they didn’t “ice” the Lions kicker on a 51 yard try)….But I’ll argue even with only 1 timeout and Josh ***** Allen as your QB, you should be trying to win the damned game. You don’t have to be reckless in doing so. So, Sean McDermott saw pretty much this same scenario last year and came down with a case of amnesia. What was more important, icing a kicker on attempting a 59 yard FG or having that 2nd timeout just in case he made it? Also, that game in Detroit last year, Allen just played OK in. Up until he ripped that pass to Diggs that led to the game winner. Last evening? Allen was playing as good as a QB can play…..McDermott chose to kneel down with Josh Allen as his QB. Kneeling down. That sure does fit Sean McDermott. Get this defensive “guru” whose defenses continually choke on last drives, the ***** out of here.
