    They want sideline to sideline guys who can cover. In todays NFL, you must be able to stop the pass.

    Another thought: Rapp signing probably eliminates the need for a vet LB. I believe in “likely” passing situations you’ll see our inexperienced LB come off the field and Bills implement 3 safeties along with 3 corners.

    I wonder if 3 starting caliber safeties is due to the fact we will either have a rookie, Dodson, or Bernard starting at MLB. We may see more 5-1-4 looks this year.

    I’m sorry friends, But seeing how Beane operates with trades (we either hear nothing or we get whispers right when it’s imminent), I feel the longer this goes the less likely it is to happen. Honestly, if this was to happen it would’ve already, and I’d be willing to bet Beane is pissed DH’s camp leaked this.

    Normally I’d agree, but they have nobody on their DL. Oliver would be a huge addition for them and he fits their scheme. They still can spend R1 on a DE as well.
