  1. But I was told that he is running all routes (even though he longest catch is 22 yards - both his touchdowns). Next longest is 15 yards.
  2. Sal C was just brought on by Jeremy and Joe and he goes - "Listen you're not allowed to say anybody in the media asks a good question, it's not allowed around here" My gosh, tell us all again how you pack your clothes for a road trip, or what Max thinks of Rob Ray.
  3. Are you just thinking more Diggs, and more Kincaid? Or is there another player on the bench that is coming in and providing these plays? I've commented previously that it doesn't take elite play design to get the ball into Harty's hands 2 times a game based on the Miami and New England catch, but that's not some big lever for this offense.
  4. We’re not doing the “cancer” thing. We’re not doing the blame the good players thing. We’re not doing the addition by subtraction thing. Thats what Buffalo has done forever. Playing the “he doesn’t want to be here card”. The Sabres keep playing that darn card still in 2023. How about Josh plays the get it to Stefon Diggs 10 times a game card because he’s the only real WR the team has?
  5. It doesn’t really matter in my opinion. There was no way Dorsey was going to survive past the end of the season. Having to hang on for dear life against the Giants, then again against Bucs, and the tone changed after Cincinnati loss where it was 18 points. The question now is whether McDermott survives this. I don’t think he’s earned that.
  6. I also think that a lot of these plays lead the QB to taking a checkdown, and many times to the sidelines. On the play Warner said Allen should have taken his 1 on 1 shot deep, the WR has no separation at all, in fact the corner is running ahead of him. Ideally it looks like Tampa I guess? Ball out in 2.5 seconds, everything short?
  7. Warner by my count showed (12) plays. Just by formation: Play 1 - Shotgun Motion? - No Play 2 - Shotgun Motion? - No Play 3 - Shotgun Motion? - No Play 4 - Under Center Motion? - Yes Play 5 - Shotgun Motion? - No Play 6 - Shotgun Motion? - No Play 7 - Shotgun Motion? - No Play 8 - Shotgun Motion? - Yes Play 9 - Under Center Play Action Play 10 - Under Center Motion? - Yes Play Action Play 11 - Shotgun Motion? - Yes Play 12 - Shotgun Motion? - No 7/12 in static Shotgun alignments. No designed boots or rollouts. We’re doing everything we can to help a struggling offense?
  8. Kurt Warner just put out another All-22 on Dorsey’s offense. Interested in other opinions on this, but the main theme, like a lot of others I’ve seen this season is: Dorsey has checkdowns built into every play, there is always a flat or a hot, and if Allen was patient he could take more of those, let plays develop. But I don’t know how anyone could argue that there isn’t a lot of playmaking out there for the Bills and the margins/throwing windows are small, the Bills WRs don’t uncover that well. I see a condensed offense predicated on a bunch of short routes to the sidelines. There is not much space out there. Also, has Allen’s clock sped up because he doesn’t trust longer developing routes because his offensive line was bad in 2021-2022?
  9. Yeah except for the fake he was burned on the Russ Wilson flip pass twice in that game Monday Night. He’s not good enough to stop looking for something better.
  10. Yeah I mean an example of this is Bulldog Parker. A guy who starts every "analysis" with "I'm not film guy" and then gives some basic observation that any fan could give. That's laziness. It's lazy 1) that you haven't been in the studio since COVID 2) you work for a sports station and have access to all sorts of analytical websites, PFF full subscriptions, Football Outsiders, etc. to become more knowledgeable, and instead it's no effort. Instead it's put the headphones on at 3:02 PM after going downstairs and eating a Franco's pizza and start talking. Mike and his reverse AFC Power Rankings and then pulls out the odds, or defaults to fantasy.
  11. We'll just go back to the Bills are actively covering up concussions theory.
  12. "Cancer in the locker room" Now that's Buffalo sports in a nutshell. More concerned about guys "not wanting to be here" over athletes that make plays that help you win games.
  13. WITH ALLEN !!! Sure getting here with Peterman and Tyrod, ok. But with Allen! This is the best we can do? You know what? You're right, bring him back next year.
  14. It's 10 games into 2023 and he's still gassing up McDermott for this great culture he's built. Like nobody else in America could have done this with the Bills.
  15. Because I need to compete with the best in the NFL. Not educate Chris Brown and Steve Tasker in the studio. This is where you fire McDermott, and then conduct a real search for Head Coach. The Bills won't do that, so all you can hope is that they cast a net for an Offensive Coordinator and drop this Beane-led model of continuity. The goal is to win a Championship, and we still have people talking about culture. The Bills culture right now is choking.
  16. With McDermott it's still the facade of robotic responses, that stern tone, that I've seen it all, done it all, heard it all attitude. We're hanging on to that 2020 AFCCG as our shining moment.
  17. A poster on here said it well - he acts like his Bills sideline reporter job is the main talking point of the show now. That's what I've heard over the years, he goes into elementary school teacher mode where he instructs his guests, his callers, and other hosts on how everything works at OBD, but it's basic things like their meeting schedule or how they fly on planes.
  18. Amen brother. He can get out right now. I can’t stand that he’s on the field 95% of the time and for what? 2 catches per game? Beane will try and pump this guy up after signing him in the off-season and talk about how hard of a worker he is.
  19. I'm in between on this and it is a real struggle for me to find the right balance. Like others have said, I've seen enough of these games to not get overly heated anymore, last night for instance when the 12 men on the field was called, I just thought its a better draft pick. And, in general, I like watching the sport, but the Bills just suck the fun out it most years. What I struggle with is I have no personnel connection with any other team, so while I follow the league closely, I don't care that much, and so I remain an invested Bills fan. In other words, I watch All-22 breakdowns on other teams, listen to other sports radios, and keep tabs on most other teams in the league by listening to their Head Coach interviews, but it's really just a filler to participate in the sport. I've listened to Herbert and Staley, Arthur Smith, Matt LaFleur and so forth. If I could turn off the care for the Bills and just consume the sport as analyst, that would be the goal, but it's harder said than done.
  20. I lack the faith that this organization will swing for elite level talent (in their prime, not at the very end of their careers). The 49ers take big swings, Beane has shown me his model is the carry-over. McDermott can not be the Head Coach at the start of 2024.
