  1. Admittedly this person doesn't sound too different from myself. I deal with social anxiety and depression. I tend to think most people are all battling or going through something. I've been more honest about things recently so that's been helpful.
  2. All right hate was a bit too strong of a word. But honestly yes I always did wonder about that as this fan seemed to be implying Gronk thought he was better than the Bills and their fans.
  3. Kinda actually seems fairly accurate. I mean until we can prove otherwise, I'll always remain cautiously optimistic
  4. Years ago I was sitting next to a fan that kept cursing him out. He said though Rob said back when he was drafted he would never play for the Bills. He also said even though he's from Williamsville he still hated his guts. I didn't see that quoted anywhere about not playing for the Bills but I didn't disbelieve him. Know he plays for Pats but is there more hatred for him than Brady?
  5. Since more and more full games and clips from that era are available on YouTube it really hasn't in many ways.
  6. Initially I'm hoping for a coach that was nothing like Rex but Jauron kind of was. Jauron was humble and emotionless while Rex was arrogant and didn't stop talking. Both didn't really work out. Perhaps fair but firm, cautious without being conservative, and more discipline. Hoping to see a solid foundation built this year.
  7. There were a lot of mom and pop movie rental stores and baseball card/comic book stores where I lived growing up. Pretty much all gone now. Admittedly this clip I stumbled across last night made me think of this topic. I think Sizzler is still around though none by me anymore. But yeah this ad, all I could say is wow...... https://youtu.be/E3YGtQ40Qvs
  8. Studying for a class I'm taking in the hopes of starting a new career. Might do some BBQing tomorrow
  9. Richard Tyson? I remember him from Kindergarten Cop too. Dude that's awesome though
  10. Don't think anyone mentioned Hoosiers yet. There was another movie from the 80s Lucas I just recalled that was pretty good. I went to look it up just now and read what apperantly happened to Corey Haim on the set of it. Cant ever look at it the same way
  11. No Small Affair, another underrated teen type movie. One of Demi Moore's first films. Curious if anyone heard of it. https://youtu.be/lYfDE27g9Ec
  12. This never fails to amuse me: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fBzU4aEnnmc Lol, I forgot about that movie too. I was in high school when it came out and saw it back then. I remember it being pretty good. Will have to check it out again sometime. North Dallas Forty was probably my favorite football themed movie though
  13. Mine's Three O Clock High. Underrated and funny. https://youtu.be/pjLqimENb1A
  14. Thought so too in March. Not gonna throw in the towel yet for the year but it feels like it's gonna be an epic disappointment.
  15. I think anything can be an improvement over last years defense. That was a mess. Simple & boring can definitely be effective though
  16. Brian Moorman, Freddie Jackson? Were both bright spots in some otherwise forgettable years. Both had a lot of heart. Or is that a bit too much of a joke?
  17. He always seems to wind up starting too because wherever he goes the starting QB goes down. Last time it was the punch to Geno's jaw.
  18. Which is better? I gave the slight edge to Tim's.
  19. Vincent Gallo? His personality was off putting at times but I always found him interesting and typically liked his work. Buffalo 66' was good and I liked The Brown Bunny as well even though it wasn't well received. Palookasville I thought was hysterical.
  20. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qT-ySMmsmGc Unfortunately, it's not the whole game. This game was the first win that year but it must have felt sweet ruining the Cowboys playoff chances. Darryl Talley's rookie year
  21. They've done some good things this off season but if history repeats itself I can't get to over optimistic.
  22. Archie and Edith Bunker. Phil Drummond as honorable mention.
  23. I've only been to one chocolate shop in the area, Alethea's in Williamsville. It's still though the best chocolate I've eaten in my life. Back in the 90's there's was a motel I stayed at that was next to the candy shop. A couple years back I saw the motel became a housing complex but Alethea's was still around. It looks just like I remembered it and the chocolate was delicious. Wonderful place. Being I'm not from WNY, is that place well known in the area, or are shops like that the norm?
  24. Good one, one of my favorite movies growing up. How about Trixie from Problem Child 2? Speaking of Waldo, how bout Jeff Tuel? Didn't he dress up as Waldo for Halloween some years back.
