  1. Haha would be two easy wins for the Bills each year! Although it might be harder for Rex to hide the fact of him doing nothing in terms of preparing each week. I can see him hanging out on the Miami beaches all the time all the while getting massive horrible looking sunburns
  2. I’m embarrassed he was my favorite Bill that year in 13
  3. That game was still within reach at the start of the 4th Quarter despite all the turnovers. The next year Bills were up at halftime. I blame Levy as much as Thurman after the fumble. Someone had to be strong enough to not let the team completely unravel. Jmo that the Cowboys weren’t way better then those Bills teams
  4. The only memorable game for that year was beating the Cowboys early in the season 10-7. As time goes on I tend to think those Cowboys teams that played the Bills in the Super Bowl weren’t all that much better than the Bills. 93 and 96 in th regular season we beat them. They just really underperformed in the 2 Super Bowls
  5. I wanted to hear how Joe Benigno would react if he got another extension
  6. My grandmother does this as well but then wonders why she has trouble sleeping
  7. Personally anything more than 3 cups in one day is a bit much. Jmo
  8. I’d guess a lot of people might have a negative profile number then ?
  9. Agree in that the Bills never really gave him a solid foundation to work with. However I’d imagine by this time he would have been able to pick himself up by now if he had it. Again maybe other variables there? I always thought his best bet would have been playing in the CFL to get a change of scenery and more confidence
  10. I guess some will argue otherwise but imo Manuel’s first year here wasn’t that bad. He held his own in the first game of the year against the Patriots, defeated the Ravens (they previously just won the Super Bowl), and looked like a boss in one game against the Jets that year. It wasn’t until 2014 where it was obvious he really hadn’t developed. Was that attributed to coaches having more film on him, him losing his confidence, or possibly poor coaching here? I can’t help to make some parallels to EJs first year to Josh’s. They both missed a few games there rookie years, there’s a good chance this team will win 6 games like that team did, and imo they both showed flashes of what’s to come while still some things to work on. Just have my fingers crossed Josh will work out. I mean at one time EJ was capable of these kind of plays:
  11. It sort of begs the question if someone gives you something you don't like or won't use tell them or not. You never know how people will react if you dislike their gifts but you don't want to keep getting the same thing. Guess just depends on the dynamics of the friendship/family
  12. I suppose but I’m not really a fan of it, even in baseball. The Browns prior management regimes tried to take that Moneyball approach and went 1-31. Yes this year Baker is on the team but there’s more competent football people there hence better results.
  13. I know it seems less and less get sent each year. Typically they get tossed but I know sometimes cards can have special meaning to people. My grandmother still has one I sent her when I was 5.
  14. Good analysis as always. Just frustrating even with Brady slowing down these results still happen. It's like Notre Dame vs Army at this point in college football. I mean there you can kind of understand with 300 lb linebackers going up against 200 lb ones. Bills vs Patriots however. Ugh
  15. Okay admittely the wording on the thread wasn’t the best so I changed the title. Point I was trying to make is would you rather be an average QB your career but experience that championship glory versus a real good HOF one but never get there. I mean at Bills games how many people wear shirts Just One Before I Die.
  16. A friend and I had this conversation to which we really didn’t come to a conclusion. So I decided to post a thread here. Jimbo obviously was a more solid player year in and year out. Mark was more of a one year wonder HOWEVER he did get that Super Bowl ring and MVP. Interestingly enough both these guys had some equal bad luck after retirement. They both lost sons way too early. Jim battled cancer but Mark dealt with depression to the point he wanted to commit suicide. Anyway what do you think?
  17. I always had fond memories of that arena even though I suppose it wasn’t considered modern even for that era. Nothing beats the feeling of walking in seeing the court for the first time
  18. Overall i think it’s funny but a lot of these Christmas movies/shows kind of lose its touch with me after so many repeated viewings. This movie being one of them
  19. Tickets to a Nets game. As a kid I was real excited about seeing a pro basketball game
  20. I’m usually pretty mellow but feel ready to strangle somebody tonight. I keep reminding myself this will pass with the moon
  21. As easy as it was to tool on Manuel for that day he did lead the team back and if not for a BS pass interference call, Bills woulda won.
  22. Same here. Nerds were looked down upon to a degree (I admit I was and still kinda am). It was cooler to be seen as the kid who fails everything. Also then being a nerd was looked down badly but the worst was having helicopter parents. Even in middle school that was like as embarrassing as could get for a kid. Today it seems it’s actually kind of common. I guess just changing times?
  23. In recent memory I’d say a photo of myself. I have a big head as is and this shot just magnified that issue. The thought was nice though The same relative gave me a Bills hat I always though the same XMas ?
