  1. On a positive note very short term this can provide some pop in the lineup and help for the bullpen. Two places that really could have used help last season. Is it fair to hope/assume .270/20/100 for Cano? Also Bruce got moved along with Sworzak who really struggled at times last year. Like you guys though I don’t like the deal. Feels like the farm system and top prospects got destroyed. Also what happens to McNeil now? And really how long can you expect Cano to keep up? Was listening to Evan Roberts yesterday and said Beltre was the only one consistent with production in his late 30s that he remembered. Craig Biggio for example whose a hall of famer declined gradually in his late 30s with one good year when he was 38. I’m assuming he was clean as well
  2. Food Chuck likes should be good enough for Allen even if cooked differently
  3. Bills still face the fish twice a year and are in the same division. Them and the Jets will always be rivals as far as I’m concerned. The other team in the division is as well it’s just been one sided If I remember right Elway left in the middle of that game with an injury. Forgot who the Broncos back up was at the time but I know they scored a TD late with him and recovered the on side kick.
  4. Marty Feldman, you had one of my favorite poster avatars on that site
  5. Not the same team or players I know but back in the day the Yankees traded Roberto Kelly for Paul O'Neill. Kelly was the hot prospect at the time and O'Neill was the old crabby veteran. 95% of Yankees fans hated that at the time. Oh make no mistake about I don't like this Cano deal or whatever else this Van Wagenen fellow may have up his sleeve. Just trying to look at this somehow optimistically.
  6. I would definitely say the Dolphins are the Bills biggest rival. In the sense that it’s been pretty even back and forth over the last 30 or 40 years. I mean I know about the 70s but since then the Bills have had the upper hand imo
  7. The only apps I have on my phone are for the weather, ESPN for scores, and Waze for traffic (still don’t know how to use it). Even those I really don’t deal with. Perhaps I get set in my ways... How about you, do you use a lot for banking, fitness, etc...?
  8. That commercial he did years back cooking was gold. I couldn’t find it though on YouTube
  9. No out of spite. The board was a pit but very uncool just to cut without warning people. If there were friendships made there I hope it didn’t ruin the communication
  10. After Josh ran in for the TD to put the Bills up 21-14 (which was obviously awesome on its own) I liked the hand slapping with Shady. He crashed a wedding over the summer. Hes been known to get down as well https://mobile.twitter.com/BuffFanatics/status/997937648428814336 Seems like a cool cat with personality. Gaining more and more confidence he’s the guy. Just needs to stay healthy
  11. I thought they wanted to get away from analytics based thinking..... To answer your second question until proven or shown otherwise I tend to think so
  12. The Bills seem to have a habit of cutting kickers in the middle of the year out of nowhere. I remember years back Moorman got cut like that. Dallas picked him up but I think he did venture back here to Buffalo. The Schmidt doesn’t really make sense imo
  13. Personally I prefer Allen’s approach of just shrugging your shoulders and doing your own thing. Like when Ramsey called trash. However, this approach has worked for Baker in the past. He uses that sort of thing as muscle. He held his own confronting Colin Cowherd over the summer. He wears his heart on his sleeve.
  14. I’d give Belichick a shot.... Cause you’d know he’d cheat. He’d have brass knuckles readily available with pins in them. Much like deflating footballs
  15. Off the Noah conversation I see parallels between the Bills and Mets at the moment. Both had just BAD stretches earlier in the year but it looks like the Bills may very well finish strong as well. 6 or 7 wins and Allen making progress. 2019 I see as a make or break year for both squads and coaches per say.
  16. Slim to none. The Pats game is the only one left on the schedule that looks daunting. Regardless it’s very hard to win consistently in the league regardless of opponent. Ouch I realize I sound like Jauron in that last sentence
  17. The Bills should get an easy W then against the Bengals next year. If Hue becomes there next coach I actually feel a little bad for them
  18. I kind of could get where the OP is coming from. I know the season is long gone but be honest it would be sweet to beat Dareus & Marrone
  19. IMO the reason Doug left probably has a little to do with all the reasons everyone speculates. He didn’t get along with the front office, 4 million dollars, he thought he could get the Jets job, etc.... Whats funny to me though is there’s a good chance the Jets HC job will become open soon. If Marrone is still interested in it he did himself no favors by going for 2 points against the Jets late in the game!
  20. Bummed I’m not gonna get to see it this weekend. Did it live up to expectations for anyone who checked it out?
  21. Yeah he must have really hated being here in 2014. I mean I know he got paid nicely to walk away but still..
  22. OJ ran for 273 yards in a loss to the Lions. I believe it broke the record for yards in a game at the time. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=LhqzVtwwKVg Unfortunately I’m not able to embed the video. I cant recall the Bills ever playing on Thanksgiving Day in my life. I googled it and discovered the 1976 game
  23. Obviously Thriller was an epic video for its time but these other two were quite original/creative as well
  24. Not a big Blecher Report fan but I’ve read several reports trades for Noah are being entertained https://www.google.com/amp/s/syndication.bleacherreport.com/amp/2807208-mlb-trade-rumors-mets-seriously-considering-noah-syndergaard-deal.amp.html
