Pretty much why I started a thread yesterday saying I was tuning it out. I saw the final score just now and apparently the refs helped them win. How can people be surprised. Glad I saved myself the aggravation
Great post
I rooted for the Pats then as well because they were the underdog. It’s to this day made me careful what I wish in everything. Well not to make this sound too deep.
Yeah it’d be great to make those wrongs right if it came to that
I think people should get to live in ways that make them happy as long as it's not hurting somebody else. So I'd be for marijuana legalization and gay marriage.
Last years Jaguars/Patriots game I didn't watch. It felt like a lose/lose situation. Even if the Patriots lost you still had to watch Marrone & Jaguars celebrate. Thank God for the Eagles.
I think the Chiefs will win tomorrow but by no means will it surprise me if the Patriots win. Just the threat of watching the Pats celebrate on their field at the end is a bit much to take for me.
Should be a good day for me tomorrow to shop for new furniture! That's just me though.
Yeah. I was a business major in college and all I learned about was abstract theories that bore little relevance to the real world. Schools do kids a giant disfavor by not preaching the communications aspects of working for a company. It seems everywhere communication is an issue these days
He was a great offensive mind and a good guy. It was actually exciting to watch the team in 2010 even after starting the year 0-8.
Defense though? They were historically bad under his watch. The 45-3 loss to the 49ers always come to mind along with the Patriots scoring 45 second half points in one meeting. Also the 8 game losing streak of 2011
I’m like that as well. I used to watch The Music City Miracle Game during the drought to remind me of the when the Bills used to be good. Of course though I didn’t put myself through the last 22 seconds.
I watched this playoff game against the Steelers as well. The thing that struck me the most was that nasty hit Kelly took to take him out of the game. In today’s league even if s omeone did that to a QB not named Brady they’d still get fined and suspended. The game was much more physical then
Fair enough. The only team I remember him being on post Buffalo was the 96 Jets. In Franks defense that team only won 1 game. So I don’t think he had the same kind of weapons around him post Buffalo
Frank Reich. I'll admit if message boards were around in the early 90's I'd be posting saying he should be the starter.
That's if per the coach he wasn't winded
The team had no problem standing up to Kiko though after that cheap hit on Allen. Sometimes I wonder how much of these losses over the years to the Patriots came because they were just intimidated by them.
I tend to think Gronk’s a bit overrated in terms of how meaningful he is to the Patriots success. If Brady/Belichick are around next year without Gronk they are still far from done imo.
I voted yes but a lot would be dependent on what kind of condition he would be in and how much he’d be willing to stick it to the Pats. If that’s the case
Agree on the Titans. Add to the fact so many of those games over the years were lost on 4th down plays. 2006 and 2012 for example.
The 2015 game where Tyrod ran all over the place on them really felt good as it was the first Titans win since 2000
He grew on me as the year went on but he’s gotta improve the TD to INT ratio. I know he super exceeded my expectations for his athleticism but 10TD to 12INT isn’t good
Not to make this an anti Yankee thing but growing up all I heard was they were the team with class all those championship years. When in reality they had many steroid guys and others with awful behavior like this. Jim Leyritz for example who killed someone driving drunk
