I tended to have a Jekyll/Hyde relationship with him in terms of baseball fandom. The guy wore his heart on his sleeve as a pitcher and was the ultimate competitor. That one day playoff against the Reds back in 1999 is one of my favorite Mets memories. I still think it was funny when Sean Casey looked like he was about to cry at the end of that game. Yet toward the end of his Mets stay it sounded like he was a bit of a clubhouse lawyer type. The Zambrano deal he supposedly played a large role in that.
End tangent. Ancient history though. Hopefully its a good hire
As I’ve said before, I really don’t put much into these games. Still I do hope Jacobs head is on straight

Edgar Allen Poe I always liked. O Henry short stories were always very good. The Phantom tollbooth is one of my favorites.
The wisdom of middle school in that I remember those stories more so than anything I else I learned there after in my educational experience.
Despite not being a Yankee fan their fans showed a tremendous amount of class when he got his 300th win at Yankee Stadium with the White Sox.
Btw love those retro Sox uniforms
Just watched the video you posted. It definitely sounds and looks very early 90s! Still sounds good especially when you compare it to today’s mainstream music
A lot of times I notice music at supermarkets is better than most popular music for at least the last 10 years ironically imo. I suppose Amy Grant would be considered of the elevator music genre today but I admit I like listening to her music.
I mean not to make this into a whole political crap show but George W Bush’s SAT scores were 150 points below the average for Yale freshman admits that year.
Fair enough. I was just looking at race diversity.

As mentioned these schools can open up the door easier for you finding a job at graduation. I just don’t think the education is necessarily better
