Agreed. In the 90s it was the best when I was a middle/high schooler. That article about the show the OP posted woulda made me through a rock through my TV if it was on. Not even a Buffalonian here All right maybe that reaction was a little extreme but still that show has seen better days!

Now that the draft is over I think it's a fair question to ask. The WR position still worries me but I think it was a solid draft. I want to see Allen make it through the grind of a full NFL season before I'm ready to declare him the next Jim Kelly but there's obviously good signs. He seems to be taking more of a leadership role this offseason and doing things that may not readily be apparent as far as stats go. On the other hand I really drank the Bills Kool Aid the offseason of 2012. I wasn't a member of this site yet but apparently the Mario Williams signing thread is still the longest in this sites history. That was a huge deal at the time. Plus that team reminded me of this one in terms of the good morale of the players. However, the 1st game against the Jets that year we got destroyed. At the end of that year I said I'll always wait and see. The Jets on the road is the 1st game this year. Hopefully that one sets the winning tone. In short I'd go with cautiously optimistic. There's good stuff this off season but aren't going to get over confident.

Speaking of the good old days of 2015-2016 the Mets didn’t lose a single game to the Reds those 2 years. Even had the clincher win there in 15’. They fought back but tonight was another reminder time changed

Was a nice win. I always love watching Sunday afternoon games. Something that feels old school about it. The next month or two should be interesting. If the team stays status quo at around .500 VW seems like the type that would want to be proactive. Or at least talks a tough game when it comes to that. Perhaps we’ll see if the Wilpons influence is still as strong with the new administration

Anyone following the new season? Just watched the first episode. Lol. There’s a part of me in the back of my head that senses the ridiculousness of it all. Especially all the coincidences that happen in it if you watch the series. What can I say though I’m a sucker for this sort of thing!

Bowling alley parties were the sh*t back when I was in middle school. You got to bowl, play arcade games, then go in the break room to eat the cake and watch MTV when they actually played music. That was during the 90s and things changed a lot to say the least since then. However I was talking to a bank teller recently and her son was hosting one. So maybe that sort of thing is trendy now with kids again? I’d have no idea

A little off topic but just because I'm an overly nostalgic guy in his 30s I'll go this route. Kobra Kai 2 is now on YouTube. Pretty sure Ralph Macchio is a Mets fan him being from Long Island. Honestly I only watched some of Monday night’s game and caught some of last nights on the radio driving home. I take it tough it must be bad if you’re hoping to see fights? You sort of always struck me as not a fan of that stuff Anyway though I have a feeling the Phillies/Mets rivalry is heating up again

Some years back there was this sleazy infomercial where this guy was selling the product The All Mighty Cleanse. I think you could guess what it was supposed to do ? While the product itself looked questionable there was a point when they looked at the colon of the oldest person alive it was as healthy as can be. I do though think that healthy colon=healthy living.

There was a comment on YouTube (granted it can be BS for all I know) that said last year at training camp one day Allen didn’t sign any autographs for anyone yet Nathan Peterman took the time to be accommodating to everyone. So in the end being a good guy unfortunately doesn’t win games. On the other hand it’s good to see this behavior if he’s gonna be the face of the franchise.
