  1. You'd better believe Conley has fallen off Kim Pegula's board. Which means no Conley.
  2. I feel like it's weird to have such a hard opinion in a game like football. People said we would be crushed by the Cards and Pats last year. We steamroll the Cards, and face the third string Pats qb. I'm not wishing it but what if something happens to Ryan? What if they just come out and stink? Happens all the time, every year. Some teams step up, others regress. Seems weird with so much to still happen before we get there that you see a blowout already.
  3. . Talking about getting steamrolled in the fourth game of the season in April? Pretty silly stuff.
  4. I mean the Bills did have arguably the best game of the year against the Seahawks. Definitely top three. And now that I think of it the Bills almost always entertain in prime time. Yes, most times they're on the losing end but the games always seem to be nail biters that have people talking the next day. Imo tho... Less prime the better. I'd take my games at 10am (maybe 11) if they'd let me.
  5. . You know LA fitness is all over the US, right?
  6. I really can't stand hearing that anyone has a "high ceiling", all that truly means is the QB has a strong arm and can't really do anything else yet.
  7. So many 1 o clock games. I'm like McDonald's.... Lovin' it!
  8. So..? It's good to have an elite QB in the NFL? Cool, thanks.
  9. Gilly has always produced when given the opportunity. I was excited for Karlos too but he was the talk around town because he was a rookie that scored some td's back to back. Outside of the td's he wasnt getting much done. This also led to Gil's production to be overlooked. Gilly was able to step in after one of the best Backs in the league took a breather and the drop off wasn't that huge. Not saying he's even remotely as talented as McCoy but the guy is really good and I'd hate to see him go. Especially to the Pats.
  10. Oh wow... Thanks for letting us know. We all thought the team was moving to Batavia this offseason. You've definitely contributed.
  11. You obviously missed the entire point of my post. Maybe you start a thread about the future stadium site and we'll decide how "smart" it is. If I was so sensitive I wouldn't have called you out, I'd tell you to your face just like I'm telling you via post. Something tells me you're not the type who would. More of a keyboard warrior, imo. You have a better offseason topic to discuss? Start a thread. Let the posters decide if it's worth talking about.
  12. This is the second post you wrote stupid idea and dismissed others opinions. Do you do this in real life interactions? Its a line drawn in the sand. The person you're conversing with only has two options, either drop out of the conversation completely to avoid escalation or match your intensity which changes the tone completely. Otherwise your post seems well thought out, why end it with something that will assuredly turn a reader off? Your thoughts are as valid as anyone else's. But that's all they are. Just thoughts on a football message board in the offseason. Nothing more.
  13. You're really going out in a limb here. I'm sure about 99.9% of the population agrees with you. You can say "not going to happen" about a million things and most times you'd be correct. But you would be wrong eventually. Imo... that's what the message boards are for during the offseason. Discussing those things that almost certainly won't happen but are fun to talk about. Otherwise why talk about football in the offseason? Do I think the Bills will be in Batavia eventually? No, but hey, here's a thread about it so for the sake of Bills fandom I'm going to swirl the idea around in my head for a bit. See what happens, ya know? I don't think the Bills in Batavia would be the worst thing to happen, but then again I just moved to Victor so... You know.
  14. Rumor has it Paul a John weren't happy with the attention Pete was getting from the gals. It's only hearsay but they did did go from a good lookin' bloke to one of the most unattractive humans in Europe.
  15. Thanks! I found an article about that and found this in the article. Here's the names the other poster wanted... "And that wasn't the only scandal to come out of this project. According to "From Butler to Buffett: The Story Behind the Buffalo News" by Murray Light, legislators Frederick Pordum and Frank Ludera were convicted of conspiracy to accept bribes on June 16, 1970 and sentenced to three years in prison each." http://www.wkbw.com/news/1970-plans-called-for-domed-stadium-in-lancaster
  16. I do want to name them but I can't find the info online. I remember hearing the story a long time ago. I could have been told wrong but the story went that the stadium was supposed to go downtown but someone made some shady deals and it ended up in OP. Maybe someone could help me out or prove the info I heard is inaccurate.
  17. Voice of reason? Orchard park is good to live in, not host a national football team. The only reason it's there to begin with was because of shady dealings and criminal activity. Pretty sure people went to jail over it.
  18. What the hell is in Orchard Park, the red carpet inn? Go ahead look it up. It's the closest Hotel to the stadium and an embarrassment to us from an out of towners perspective.
  19. Fair point. I couldn't answer that. I can offer some insight thought. Coming from Baltimore (originally Buffalo) I can say the waterfront is alive with activity on game day. Orioles and Ravens. Their restaurants, bars, hotels, all making money hand over fist. Anyone who has gone to OP for a game knows this can never happen there. I don't know how Batavia fits, or if it is even really under consideration. But this day in age I don't see how any team wouldn't build in the city, and knowing how hard it is in Buffalo (red tape) I could see them getting creative. Especially if Pegula is really that committed to WNY.
  20. Depends on what you value more. Downtown stadium changes tailgating forever. Mainly people will cram into bars and pay for way overpriced drinks. If you can get through the crowd. Batavia has space to keep it the way it's always been. Longer drive, better game day experience.
  21. Yeah, I'd have to agree. Plus it's not even 8 lately. You couldn't even give away Dolphins tickets in December. The stadium is in the middle of nowhere. People consume what they bring. There are a few rotting hotels near the stadium, maybe a bar or two, some home owners will be bummed because they can't charge $15 for parking on their lawn. Otherwise I don't see much changing. Directly in between Buffalo and Rochester. Seems fine to me as long as they keep the name. If the Jets and Giants can play in Jersey and keep the name I don't see why Buffalo couldn't.
  22. If there's one team in the league (maybe 2 with the Ravens) that can't make that joke it's the Bills.
