    If the search was embarrassing the NFL made it that way. They had their guy, they knew they had their guy but the NFL forced them to dance around with a few other "candidates" when everybody and their mother knew what we were going to do all along.

    Good rule of thumb is to always ask for draft picks. All they can do is say no. I'd ask for draft picks but if someone gave me one (even a 7th rounder) I'd have to take out a pretty big loan to pay them. And then what?

    A bit different in that they got a first rounder and traded up for two of their picks which would mean they got exactly who they were targeting.

    It's obvious to me the players we got the Bills were very high on. That makes me feel pretty good. They didn't settle and we get to watch another team next year. I know I'm going to pay attention to the Chiefs as much as the Bills,

    I don't know. A lot of moves but at the end of the day the Bills got three guys they really like and a first rounder next year. If it works, if the players are true NFL starters it was s home run. If not, well... How is it any different than most other drafts? We've got to hit on one of these guys. Two is a win, imo...

    That was my point. He's unhappy just filling those needs. He thinks we're going to have a terrible year because we didn't fill lb, and safety. It's unrealistic to think you can fill five needs in one draft. You'd have to hit on every pick.

    That's how I feel. They must have felt he was something special. I'm good with it. I wanted a CB and a WR. I would have been happy just having them. A first as well. I'm golden.
