Right. Believe it or not we did not all like each other. We didn't agree about every topic even slightly. If you made a bad post/thread we were on top of you just as I'm sure it was here before we showed up. It's not a bbmb thing. It's a bad poster thing. If someone deserves to get thrashed, thrash 'em. Its funny, I see many post like this and many people piggy backing on the bad posts but no one says anything about the valid and articulate posts. Last year was the first where I would actually watch a game I dvr'd and not in real time. Never thought I'd actually get to that point in my life. I was hoping this offseason would get the old Bills fire in my belly roaring again but I'm not feeling it. Maybe the draft? I don't know, just feels like they're ok with being mediocre right now and I've done that for too long.

As of right now I have zero reason to believe we'll be better than last year. Yes, buying some players drum up interest but for good reason. You always want to believe you have a chance at winning. With what I've seen we've only gone backwards. Certainly doesn't make me want to dive into the old wallet.

No players that get paid to catch balls have been given the opportunity to shine on this team. We have absolutely no idea the potential Gragg has. With that said I was excited to see what he had after that stellar preseason and training camp. I think Taylor was really beginning to rely on him like a qb should. I'll be bummed to see the Agro-Gragg become someone else's security blanket.

Well, to be fair to Zo and the Rex's system detractors the dude did get 8 solo tackles and an interception against the best in a game without Rex. I know it was the pro bowl but it shows he can deliver without Rex. I guess I'm pretty ok about the move. If he shows even half of the production I'll be pretty annoyed if he's on special teams like some are insisting here. Guy got injured on special teams when he was the sack leader of the nfl. You don't pay a 34 year old guy over 4mil a year to play the most dangerous plays in the entire game.

I agree 100% I wanted Brown all along. His effort and play making was off the charts. things slowed down toward the end but I think that had more to do with the stuff going on behind the scenes. Hard to stay motivated with a team imploding around you. I won't sit here and say Alexander didn't earn a deal but the odds are very low that he'll achieve that sort of success again.

Will people please stop with the special teams talk? If we pay anything close to what he wants its for his pass rushing skills. He was the leading sack leader in the nfl when he was injured in special teams. If you pay him, and he gives even close to the same production, you've got to believe this coaching staff won't make the same mistake.

Fact is Bills weren't going to pay him and the Pats were going to be the best in the East regardless. Non story in my opinion.

thank you for the thought out, articulate post. it's refreshing. i actually have zero love for BBMB. we were pretty neutered over there and lot of us either stopped posting or got kicked off recently. i can honestly say this is the most i've posted in about 5 months. but i hear what you're saying, in our hey day if some board shut down and we were overrun it would not go well. you guys have actually been pretty cool about the whole thing. we're dudes, dudes get territorial. it's totally understandable. i mean, being called "scum" is a bit weird. but so are we i guess.

i dont think you'll find anyone interested in making this board anything like BBMB. my thing is, i'm not sure what people are expecting coming into a thread about BBMB and wondering why people are talking about it? i mean it kind of says it right in the title, no? maybe it needs to be moved off of the main board? things just need to be said, once they're said i think you'll find that most of us will be fun and exciting additions to your community. i'm hoping that you and i may even find time to work out together. make it a bi-weekly kind of a thing?

nope. i'm telling you right now that's not at all what's happening. the BBMB is done and gone. i can honestly say from what i can tell this place is much more comfortable. the problem is the ex girlfriend is also here and trying to make it seem like we're the ones that snitched to Tony. she's here hiding under a new name and trying to spin doctor everything. that's all this conversation is really about. all i want is the ex to tell everyone her real name, and be accountable for her actions. if she doesn't that's all well and good. we're all going to get new girlfriends and settle down. because in the end we're not the ones hiding. you dont think it's weird that some posters would show up under disguises? do you want people like that here? if they can be that devious, what else are they capable of?
