I am mixed about what has happened under Trump, but the democrats have done absolutely nothing to convince me that they would be any better than the past five years. At least things under Trump have a chance of getting better, we already know what would happen if this current version of the democrat party got back in.

This was the Biden coverage timeline 2021-June 2024: Biden is fine, any word of cognitive decline is a conspiracy theory and slander. June 2024-July 2024: "Biden has no chance against Trump and must go before the election, he is being selfish by staying, what a terrible person, they should force him to resign no matter what it takes!" A common conspiracy theory to the far left is that Trump or his people planned a staged attempt. A friend of mine who is normally moderate and rational but has a textbook example of media induced TDS once said that she thought the plan was to shoot at him but not kill him. I told her that it must of been a pretty good shooter to purposely aim for and graze the earlobe from hundreds of feet away. It actually made her pause and take it back. That isn't the worst, Ive heard many say that they wish the bullet hit. I am sorry, but assassination is never the answer. You can end the conversation anytime by admitting that you are trolling. There is a concept in jobs called vacation time. I take it during March Madness every year. Lets minimize and dismiss hundreds of domestic terrorist incidents from the left over the course of five years because a bunch of cops and security managing a crowd corralled a few dozen protestors into the direction of the capitol building over four years ago. Imagine buying a Tesla in 2023 because you were told that it was being a responsible "global citizen", then having it vandalized by the very same people less than two years later because the company owner is not conforming to the narrative like all of the other global elite? I agree with you when it comes to setting expectations for signings of this caliber. However, one small difference between Shenault and those three is the proven return ability. If he makes the team, I see a similar role to Andre Roberts or Deonte Harty as a more likely scenario than a breakthrough like Patterson. It will probably come down to him or Codrington in one of the last spots due to their returning ability.

Hoecht, and Palmer seem like good complementary players that add depth, but not ones that are likely to single handedly get Buffalo to the Super Bowl. Bosa's best days are likely behind him, but the 1 year and 12 million makes the signing a low risk, high upside option. The extensions are the most important. Keeping the key players intact makes the entire offseason process much easier. For that alone, I am happy so far.

Honesty, think about what that looks like. Best case, Ukraine runs out of men and Russia takes more land. Worst case, the EU and US get involved and we are looking at WW3. Is that what you are willing to sacrifice? Even some of the regular lefty posters realize this. There has to be a path to peace.

I support the Ukraine over Russia because Putin was the aggressor. I support working towards ending the war and keeping the Ukraine a sovereign nation which is what yesterday was working towards. I think that all three acted poorly which I have mentioned in other posts and that they should find a way to get back to talks again. Zelensky has valid concerns about Russia holding up their end of the bargain and I think that Trump is underestimating Putin's track record of doing this. Other than that I agree with the general direction of the plan and think that it was wrong for Zelensky to try to change the conditions at the last second when the public meeting was assumed to be a formality before the signing. That method is poor form and etiquette no matter what a negotiation is for in the business or political world. Three years ago, some people thought that Russia could take over the Ukraine within a month and Europe within a year. Three years later, they are at a stalemate with an extremely depleted army, that is not a victory from their end.
