If Dorsey still has a job after today, I have to assume that Buffalo is tanking. The team has checked out.

Just give them the d**n touchdown instead of dragging it out and making us watch ten minutes of draft kings and burger king commercials.

Should Dorsey come down to the sidelines?

You are mistaking me as arguing for Dorsey. I would rather have him fired, but was making a choice out of the two options given in the poll. I'm not really trying to turn this into a needless debate. -

I didn't see a third option for couch. Out of the two, I would say sideline. Calling from the booth certainly isn't working, if they insists on sticking with him, at least see if he is more effective on the sidelines first. -

Watching this game reminds me the Harty was a definite downgrade from MacKenzie. -
Ben Solak (The Ringer) Analysis of Josh's Decisions this Year
dgrochester55 replied to JohnRVA's topic in The Stadium Wall
When you compare Josh Allen to the other current top quarterbacks in the league, he has the highest ceiling, but he also has the lowest floor. Unfortunately, we have seen more of the second part of that this year than we have in the past three years before. I still have faith in Allen and think that he can be a franchise QB for a few more years, but right now he is in a slump. There is still time to turn this around, I think that the first step is letting him do what he does best with the run game and play to his strengths instead of trying to hammer a square into a round circle with Dorsey's failed schemes. -
I understand Dorsey and McDermott, but I see Diggs as stanley just for the potential of going off on Dorsey or McDermott something like this.

Pretty Much McDermott=Michael Scott Allen=Jim Diggs=Stanley Dorsey=Kevin Elam=Creed

Reasons why I'm still (barely) optimistic
dgrochester55 replied to JerseyBills's topic in The Stadium Wall
I understand some of your logic, but while every team has had a bad game, Buffalo has had a bad half season. My best hope is that Josh Allen plays like the elite QB that he is capable of being and somehow carries the team on his shoulders to 9 or 10 wins and get in the playoffs, then be hot at the right time. Right now I am not seeing it. There are too many holes and the coaches seem to have lost the players. I see 7 or 8 wins. If they can get by Denver and the Jets and get up to 7-4, maybe I'll feel a little hope again, but right now as it stands, no remaining game is a lock. -
C'mon Man, Past the doom and gloom. Give Your Game Balls.

The entire defense minus Von Miller deserves credit. If you had told me that they were going to hold the Bengals to 24 yesterday morning, I would have assumed that it was a win. Nobody on the offense. I would have said Kincaid until the fumble. -
Officially out of the playoffs as of now

The harsh reality is that Buffalo was one pass interference non call away from being 1-4 in what was supposed to be the easy part of the schedule. That is much more than a wake up call or slump. If you break down the remaining schedules you see this Tier 1 Buffalo might be the favorite-Broncos, Patriots. Even in those cases, Denver is playing better and New England already beat us Tier 2 Buffalo might beat them if they play well- Jets, Chargers Tier 3 Out of our League-Chiefs, Eagles, Cowboys, Dolphins Best case scenario to me is four more wins. Worst case is one more. The defense is depleted. The offense under Dorsey has been figured out by the rest of the league and the morale is shot. This is a drought era team with a good QB. -
This once Juggernaut offense scores under 20 every week against bottom half defense over the past five weeks. We still have the same players. Dorsey is the problem.
-
Time to look up some options for day trips and weekend getaways in the southern tier for the next 8 weeks.
-
I would have rather seen Von comeback in week 12 full swing than 2week 6 as a sad shell of himself.
-
Defense has actually made an admirable effort. No excuse for the offense.
-
I agree. The opportunity is gone for this group, but Allen is still young enough to have another shot if we retool and take a year out for a mini rebuild.
-
This is not a playoff team. Period.
-
Surprisingly he has not been bad(for him). I was expecting him to be intolerable tonight.
-
By having the refs arbitrarily decide to call a phantom penalty three minutes after the last play.
-
That first half was a perfect snapshot of everything that is wrong with the Bills and the NFL this year.
-
If you are the Giants you have one forward pass and 2 interceptions in almost six quarters with DeVito. There is no reason to keep him in. Put in Matt Barkley, Run a wildcat, anything has to be better than this.

So far I have learned this week that a defense can get a roughing the passer for a routine sack (commanders/patriots game), but an offense can regularly get a away with an illegal wedge block where an entire offense line is off-sides because the play has a cutesy nickname. Welcome to NFL 2023.

Roughing the passer for a sack? Not even a commanders fan and I'm pissed. Not even the talking heads could come up with a valid excuse for that
