I don't even know if the Bills gave him an offer. Maybe they just wanted to check him out in case Campbell and Euhus rehabilitation ran into problems.
-
Did he sign with anyone ? I can't find anything on his status.

For the Bears to send the No. 4 overall pick to the 'Skins for the No. 9 and No. 25 selections in round one, either Braylon Edwards or Mike Williams must still be on the board. But there's one more hitch. If the Cardinals haven't consummated a trade for Bills running back Travis Henry before the third pick is announced on Saturday, the Bears likely won't go forward, since they fear that the Cards would select running back Cedric Benson with the No. 8 overall pick. One of the worst kept secrets leading up to the draft is that the Bears have a banana in their pockets for Benson, a power back from Texas. It seems unlikely, in our view, that the long-rumored trade between the Cardinals and the Bills will occur before the Bears are on the clock.

How bout if JP says ..Big Cat means you big kitty ?
-
Wow the Eagles took Matt Jones...another weapon for McNabb....In the real draft he might even go earlier...depending how things fall.
-
I guess JP doesn't exist. If you put Rodgers and Alex Smith in the 2004 draft, they would rank as the fourth and fifth quarterbacks on the board behind Manning, Philip Rivers and Ben Roethlisberger. Travis geat value in the second... Henry gone?: Speaking of shopping, the Buffalo Bills have been unable to trade running back Travis Henry this off-season. Look for a draft-day deal, though. His value will increase after Ronnie Brown, Carnell Williams and Cedric Benson clear the board in the top 10 picks. Henry is clearly better than the second tier of running backs in this draft. At 26 and with a pair of 1,300-yard seasons under his belt, Henry is better than any back you can draft in the second round and beyond.

Im one of those first round wannabes. My dream day is getting Washingtons two first round picks for Nate Clements . Then getting the Eagles second round pick(35) for Henry. Thus having two firsts and two seconds making it a very enjoyable day.

Repost of Jarrett Bell's USA Today column
RVJ replied to Gavin in Va Beach's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
And its going to get worse $$$$$$$$$ NBC is happy about taking over Sunday night games. ESPN is giddy to get Monday Night Football. But when the NFL announced its new broadcast package, the happiest ones of all were the players and agents. Total broadcast revenue will increase by at least 50 percent when the new deals go into effect in 2006 - from $2.45 billion a year to at least $3.75 billion. The players get 65 percent of revenues, so you can expect a big bump in salaries in '06. It'll be a great time to be a free agent. Nate Clements, are you listening? -

I look foward to all your avatars. I think you should do a bikini next. And next time do more of a closeup. Save your recent sweater one for the fall. -
redskins will trade #25 and Rod Gardner for Nate C
RVJ replied to freester's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Gardner was the 14th pick in the first round (2001) He wants to be traded. Skins looking for a 2nd round pick. To trade for Clements it would have to be the 25th pick , Gardner, and Arrington...then i might think about it. -
Say We Do Trade Clements for #9 or #25
RVJ replied to SouthTownBills51's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
For both or take a hike. -
Like to see how divided we are...I think more votes for not being traded
-
I think it will be the Eagles...we will get the 35th pick...thank you Philly !!!

Is TD going to sign him...if he does be prepared $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ NBC is happy about taking over Sunday night games. ESPN is giddy to get Monday Night Football. But when the NFL announced its new broadcast package, the happiest ones of all were the players and agents. Someone told me you need a passport now. Is this true. Also what do you need to bring a dog with you...is it allowed...thanks !!!
-
The only thing it means is the Skins can't trade for him. It looks like the Raiders did it quick...like saying screw you . The only good corners left that might be available are Clements and Woodsen.
-
I would not give Philly Travis Henry and a second for #35. Screw them...I would keep Henry before I did that. I think Henry is worth that high second round pick in this draft. He will prove his worth...you can mark my words.
-
Wouldn't Matt Jones be a huge gamble in the first round. I could see it if they already had great wideouts on the team . Then draft Jones as another weapon. I guess if I were the bills at #25 I might take a chance on him. But I have Eric Moulds and Lee Evans Which makes more sense if things didn't go as planned.
-
Thank You very much !!!
-
I know thet have 13 of them. Im curious where there sloted. Trying to see what we could get for Henry. Do you think we could get that 2nd rounder they recieved from the Dolphins ? Or was that a third rounder.

They said the Skins don't think Buchanon is worth a first round pick. Didn't say anything about Clements. Right now, we've had no discussions with anyone about trading away the ninth pick,'' Gibbs said. ``Are we considering any options we are presented with? Yes. We'll consider anything, but no one has presented a compelling scenario.'' That's not to say the Redskins weren't interested in Buchanon. An official within the league, speaking on condition of anonymity, told The Associated Press that the team has discussed a possible trade for Buchanon in recent days, but the official said none of the scenarios involved Washington's first-round pick. The official said the Redskins might trade a lower-round pick for Buchanon, but that no deal was imminent. In essence, Tuesday's statement was a signal to the rest of the league that the Redskins do not consider Buchanon worthy of a first-round pick. Buchanon has said he is unhappy in Oakland, wants a trade, and Washington doesn't want the price tag to go too high. Regardless, the trade with Denver would seem to dampen any possibility for a Buchanon deal, given that the Redskins can now obtain both a receiver and a cornerback in the first round. The top draft prospects from both positions have visited Redskins Park in recent weeks. The Redskins need a cornerback to replace Fred Smoot, who departed during free agency, and a receiver is a priority because both Laveranues Coles and Rod Gardner requested trades. Coles was sent to the New York Jets for Santana Moss, while Gardner is still on the market.

Is there a reason the Skins wanted another first round pick in this draft. Do they think there close to challenging for the NFC title . Or are they using it for another possible trade (corner) on draft day.
