  1. Im keeping my fingers crossed on the TH trade.
  2. Good call.....great value for the Steelers.
  3. You think so ? I think the Steelers go OL or LB. The only teams I see going TE are Chicago , Arizona or Oakland. I guess it depends what values left on the board. If Buffalo happens to get the Cards 2nd pick..he might be still on the board.
  4. Anyone got any ideas. I thought he was projected in the first round. Nugent was originally projected in the third...but I think someone grabs him in the second.
  5. I feel its time to really load up on the beef. Linemen are the foundation of your football team. If we get a second for Travis and somehow Matt Jones was there. That would be my only exception.
  6. You still have the Saints and Seahawks...both need corners.
  7. We better draft another DT..that Ronnie Brown is a load.
  8. I won't believe it till its final...I can't see TD giving him up for a third rounder. I think he's worth more to the Bills as a backup then getting a third round pick.
  9. There is still a possibillity we trade him....but I think TD goes the franchise tag route...anyways trading Nate today could turn this draft all around . Stay tuned !
  10. TD said we as a staff will only trade Travis if we feel its fair value. We will not trade him just to do a trade.
  11. I would keep him...he is great insurance and is inexpensive. And you might be able to trade him in preseason when injuries will occur. Lets hope we get a second round pick today.
  12. He could stand to gain a few pounds dontcha think ? http://www.nfldraftblitz.com/Profiles/dema...wareprofile.htm
  13. But I just have to get another 2nd round pick...Or I'll die.
  14. Henry is clearly better than the second tier of running backs in this draft. At 26 and with a pair of 1,300-yard seasons under his belt, Henry is better than any back you can draft in the second round and beyond.
  15. Nate knows he may be the highest paid corner in the league next year. Are you willing to pay him that ? Someone will. It may be smarter to trade him now if your not. Total broadcast revenue will increase by at least 50 percent when the new deals go into effect in 2006 - from $2.45 billion a year to at least $3.75 billion. The players get 65 percent of revenues, so you can expect a big bump in salaries in '06. It'll be a great time to be a free agent. Nate Clements, are you listening?
  16. Here is the other reports: The Dayton Daily News reports of a rumor which suggests that the Eagles are interested in Bills running back Travis Henry. The Bills contracted the Eagles and are asking for a second-round draft pick in exchange for Henry, whose is unhappy in Buffalo in part because of the emergence of starter Willis McGahee. RotoWire.com Staff - RotoWire.com Friday, April 15, 2005 Update: The Bills have contacted the Eagles about a possible trade that would send Henry to Philadelphia, FOXSports.com reports. Recommendation: Philadelphia appears to be interested, but if Henry does not lessen his contract demands the deal will never happen. The Eagles would like to add a running back to go along with Brian Westbrook, but will only be willing to give up a third or fourth round pick at the most. If the deal were to go through, Henry would be in a similar situation as he has with Buffalo -- backing up a starter -- though there might be more packages available where he sees the field more. Eagles | Interested in Bills' Henry? - from www.KFFL.com Thu, 14 Apr 2005 15:56:50 -0700 Jay Glazer, of FOXSports.com, reports the Philadelphia Eagles have shown interest in Buffalo Bills RB Travis Henry. The Bills have phoned the Eagles on more than one occasion, but Henry's interest in a new contract could kill a potential trade from coming about. While the Bills are looking for a second-round draft choice, they would probably take a third-round or even a fourth-rounder that could move up to a third-rounder based off of incentives.
  17. If we get the Eagles 35th pick. Thats as good as a first in this draft.
  18. Screw them...Let them keep there third round pick and draft a scrub. I would keep Henry and let him pout on the bench. He still is good insurance if Willis gets hurt and he's cheap. Brian Kelly to steep a price...thats a joke .
  19. Im going crazy waiting for tomorrow . We need more picks !!!!
  20. Even if he isn't traded. He would be good insurance if McGahee got hurt in preseason. And someones top RB will get hurt this preseason...And a trade in next years draft will be just as good.
  21. I want that 35th pick bad !!!!
  22. Last week, the Bucs called the Bills to inquire about running back Travis Henry, who has demanded a trade. The Cardinals are believed to still be a front-runner for Henry's services; on the NFL Network Thursday coach Dennis Green said there still was life to the trade. Henry has been linked to the Eagles, who reportedly offered a second-round pick for him, the Dayton Daily News reported. http://www.sptimes.com/2005/04/22/Sports/Rumor_mill.shtml
  23. Bills general manager Tom Donahoe is playing some serious hardball, but the reality is that there's almost no way he can bring back a disgruntled Henry. Once again, this is another scenario that will depend on the draft, and who misses out on the running back they covet. Miami hasn't been mentioned in the equation for some time, but if Nick Saban goes another way with his No. 2 overall choice (and it's starting to look that way), the possibility of Henry landing in South Beach will be renewed. And if Jon Gruden settles on USC's Mike Williams over Auburn's Carnell Williams at No. 5, he might be able to pry Henry loose from the Bills for either the 36th or 71st overall pick.
  24. Henry is clearly better than the second tier of running backs in this draft. At 26 and with a pair of 1,300-yard seasons under his belt, Henry is better than any back you can draft in the second round and beyond.
