His greatest asset is still his potential. It's been 4 years and people are still talking about his potential, I don't hear anyone mentioning game changing plays. When does he start making plays? When does he stop looking lost and just instinctively follow the play and flow to the ball? What amazes me about this guy is the polarity of takes on his play. PFF consistently rates him very poorly year after year. I watch him play and I can't figure out why people think he is good. Is he out of position? I've thought from the very beginning that the middle is not the right place for him. His skills seem better suited to the outside, but he's not a good pass rusher either. If you watch him blitz he is very rarely effective. He is more a physical specimen than a great football player. I would much prefer to have a great football player in the middle running the defense than a physical freak with great potential.

It sounds like a 10 year old picked the name.

My prediction: The Bengals won't be able to run the ball and Burrow will be running for his life. The Rams will win by 10 if Stafford doesn't ***** the bed.
-
Rams win SB by 10+ Not that the Rams are any juggernaut but I don't think Cinci has much of a chance. They won't be able to run and their o line will get destroyed all game.

what a lame play call should be an exciting finish though
-
agree, But he is still efficient doing what they ask of him
-
Ya, their offense isn't designed for a QB to light it up but he's efficient at what they ask of him.
-
He takes a lot of criticism for a guy who finished 7th in passer rating and 8th in total QBR. His yds/attempt was 2nd in the league.
-
How do we know he didn't take the reins? Has anyone even explained what happened yet?
-
Yep, that's what happens when you play soft and scared on defense, having no faith or confidence in your players.
-
Turning a blind eye and not being willing to criticize their failures or point out their weaknesses is not what makes a 'real' fan.

Fair enough but counting on a rookie to be a big playmaker , even a 1st rounder, is not a very dependable strategy. Rousseau in the first and a proven veteran pass rush specialist instead of Basham would have been a better strategy imo.
-
The Bills are so glad you got their back. They didn't blow that game last week at all. No one can stop Mahomes, even if he only had 3 seconds he would have won, he's just that good.😂

Rousseau played well for a rookie and had a good year. No, imo the big draft mistake was Basham in the 2nd round instead of Creed Humphrey who was one of the top interior lineman in the league and completed the o line rebuild for KC. The Bills got very little pressure on Mahomes up the middle because of him. The Bills were badly in need on the interior line and will have to address it this off-season when they already had the answer fall right into their laps last draft. Cinci won by taking away Mahomes wide open short outlets over the middle. Unlike the Bills who played so soft and left that area open.

The Bills played one of the 5 easiest schedules in the league this season. Their #1 defense played 15 of their games against a who's who of terrible qbs. Next year's schedule not nearly as easy. Their soft shell bend don't break d only works against inefficient qbs who can't sustain drives and makes no adjustments for qbs who can. They will have to improve.

Rams are winning the SB at home, they will crush the Bengals

😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😝😝😝😝😝😝😝😝😝😝😝

The underneath was wide open all game for Mahomes to get rid of the ball, not today
-
clothesline tackles are no longer penalties?
-
The Bills coaches played scared defense all game. I could see from the start that this was not the same confident aggressive defense from the Patriots game.
-
I told him to call tails
-
Get up to the los and guard somebody. Challenge every play and don't play defense like a scared little *****
-
They're actually challenging them on defense and not playing a scared soft shell defense. They're safeties are not 25 yards downfield and backpedaling at the snap.

Burrow forcing it to Chase and not even looking anywhere else, looked like a rookie on that play
