  1. This whole 5th round and higher picks are just a waste and they don't make the team is asinine. Tom frckn Brady was a 6th round comp pick. A 6th rnd comp!!!!! A long long list of pro bowlers drafted from the 5th rnd on. In a draft this deep those picks count, another chance to hit something special. That said, if the Bills really hit on those picks then it was worth the lost chances. Time will tell, but I was liking all those picks and there is special talent still out there.
  2. Well, a 1st and two 2nds with a 2018 1st in your back pocket is not too bad. I was disappointed that 2 picks were given back and overreacted (i was buzzed), but like many have said if those were the right guys they wanted and got, then that was the price. Positive vibration to the Bills Nation.
  3. Dumb. Threw away 3 picks in a deep draft. O well, time to go have some fun.
  4. Guess this is just a 2nd rnd discussion now. No 3rd rnd picks for the Bills. Spent a 2nd, two 3rds, and two 5ths on 2 guys who weren't even close to the best available imo. Psyched when they traded back but they couldn't wait to waste the extra ammunition. 5 picks on two players in a draft loaded with talent.
  5. The 2008 pick had nothing to do with these last 2 moves.
  6. That would be great, how do you know that? How do you know who the three picks given away would have been? Just surprised they spent 5 picks for 2 guys that are unproven and they may have gotten anyway.
  7. Do I understand we gave up three picks for this guy and two picks for the last guy. So 5 picks for two guys. A 2nd rnd, 2 3rd rnds and 2 5ths to get 2 guys. One near mid and the other at the end of the 2nd round. So much for the trade back, just couldn't wait to spend/waste that draft capital. Not being negative, just extremely unimpressed.
  8. So, it seems the teams that won are the ones who gave up a next years pick. Maybe the GMs are using the wrong chart and don't know that next years picks aren't worth as much? You need to get this out on the wire, these guys are old and can't keep up.
  9. Hate giving that 3rd rounder away. Rather give away two 5ths. Not sure if there was any need to either. Lot of good receivers still out there. Evidently they really wanted this guy, hopefully he is worth never finding out who that 3rd rounder would have been. I was worried they would do this, not valuing the 3rd rnder and throw it away cause it's house money. Who knows, could be the next Jerry Rice/Andre Reed.
  10. where are people getting this next years 1st is only worth a 2nd this year? I have read that they are valued close to the same. The Bills were gonna draft Lattimore at ten, instead get White plus a 3rd rnd pick tomorrow, and a first round pick next year. 3 players for 1. Chiefs used 3 picks for an air raid qb. Time will tell but right now I am thinking the Bills did pretty good. It will be even better if White is better than Lattimore and the Chiefs don't make the playoffs.
  11. Never seen a guy melt down at the draft dropping f bombs. That was awkward but entertaining. sorry. off topic there.
  12. Good to know. Had no idea he was so highly rated.
  13. liked kevin king more. there are some later round gems to be found at cb as well.
  14. Obviously a sports journalism major
  15. he said God damn. and every fckn thing. hahahahaha
  16. Don't mind the Bills trading back, just wish it wasn't so far. Good to excellent value in the pick exchange, depending on KCs season. The hard part is the big payoff isn't until next year. Got 2 more picks this year too in a deep draft.
  17. Gruden ripping the Hooker pick
  18. Maybe Cleve was in bidding war with Bears for the pick?
  19. Potentially the most expensive bust ever. Big, big risk.
  20. wow, holy smokes. what a great trade for SF
  21. Concerned about his injuries and immaturity but definitely think he is worth a 5th. His dream has been to qb the Bills and maybe he would put in the work and gain the self control to make it reality. He has a lot of NFL qb qualities on the field and he tore up Bama defense. A lot of people were wild during high school and college, most of us managed to grow up. Hard to gauge where he will be picked though. Anywhere from 4th to 6th I think. No chance he goes undrafted imo
  22. Among qualified backs he Led the League in ypc, td%, 3rd down conversion..... led the league. That 5th rnd pick gonna lead the league!!!
  23. I can't stand the Pats or Belichek. They are the most successful team right now and it is not only random luck or they have the greatest 6th round Comp pick of all time. To see that the Bills are mismanaged is not difficult and it doesn't make you a bad fan imo.
  24. His salary says otherwise.BB is not paying him so the Bills can't keep him. He only does things to get better. He is not infallible but if he thinks Gillis is worth it I don t doubt it. A 5th rnd pick is peanuts for a guy who converts 3rd downs and tds like that.
