  1. I don't have to take logic far at all. Diggs was turned around and looking at that ball for a significant enough amount of time that he should have caught it. You're going in a ridiculous direction at this point. My guess is you'll blame Knox's 2 drops on Allen because Allen threw the ball too hard
  2. Or how about a few more @VW82 scroll to minute 4:30 in the highlights. At 5:30 left in the first half going against the wind Josh has a 3rd and 19 from the 50 and throws an on target throw to Knox at the 20... at the very least at the fringe of a FG attempt even in that wind. DROP. Or 6:30 into the video on a 3rd down Allen rolls right and throws a catchable ball to Beas to get inside the 10. And just rewatch that pass on 3rd and long to Knox. All he has to do is come back for the ball so that the defender can't even make a play on the ball. And even with the defender making the play, he still could have caught it. Knox's first drive-killing drop isn't even in there.
  3. It's a drop. Diggs was turned around for awhile... it's not like he had to turn at the last minute. That was a pass that was as much in his bucket as you could have gotten on that night. I bet Diggs would tell you he should have caught it.
  4. I'm alleging that you're claiming there were no easy throws sprinkled in when there were... ala Knox's first drop.
  5. We did have those throws... but they were dropped. These are NFL WRs and TEs paid millions to catch the ball... so CATCH THE DAMN BALL!!! Or catch the damn game winner!!!
  6. Yes. That was another of the 5 passes I was thinking of that were dropped. Also Knox dropped 2 and just got outmuscled in the EZ for what should have been a TD to win the game. What Josh did in this game was pretty amazing. So much went wrong for Buffalo in that game that doesn't normally go wrong (Bass missing a chip shot FG that would have made it so we only needed a FG rather than a TD to win it) that the game itself doesn't make me feel worse about Buffalo as a team. However, I still truly wish Daboll called more--more than ZERO--designed runs for Allen.
  7. It's a ball Diggs normally catches. And that was a money throw by Josh. There were at least 5 drops in that game. If only half of those are caught, Bills win. Heck... if Diggs makes that catch that he normally makes, Bills win. I'm over my Pats hangover. I feel pretty good going into our week 16 matchup given that conditions won't be those once in a decade conditions for an NFL game.
  8. The more I watch this play the more I just want to call it a drop, plain and simple. Diggs adjusted by turning around plenty early to have time to make that catch. And he normally makes it. Man I wish he did
  9. Isn't there a practice today? No updates or PCs?
  10. If we cut our drops in half last night (there were probably 5 or 6) we win that game. Knox dropped 2 and got outmuscled for one in the EZ. Diggs dropped that INCREDIBLE long TD pass from Allen that was as on-the-money as you could be in that weather (yes... I call that a drop because I think that's a catch Diggs would typically make... difficult but catchable). Beasley dropped one. Sanders saw one go off his hands. It just got ridiculous last night. In retrospect Allen was spectacular given the weather conditions. The problem was his OC didn't bother tapping into the aspect of his game that was the most obvious thing to use and probably would have further ensured us of a W: Josh's legs. Not a single designed QB run in those weather conditions is just criminal. Allen is fantastic but I want to see him reach a point mentally where he's like Manning or Kelly and is allowed to call ALL his own plays on the field. I know it wouldn't be perfect, but I don't think I'd ever call him a coward... and we had some cowardly coaching yesterday.
  11. I agree with this... but think what needs to be added is that last night our best player should have had a bunch of designed runs mixed in.
  12. Now you're just being silly. Buffalo doesn't do well in horrible weather games because of coaching and not being able to run and not being able to stop the run. Get us in a warm weather, dome, or not so terrible weather game and we stand a better shot than a home game with 50 mph wind gusts against the likes of NE, TN (with Henry), or the Colts. Stop being so hyperbolic as you build up ridiculous straw mans
  13. Did I say that? I think you need to take some deep breaths and take a break. Your anger over last night seems to be blinding you.
  14. Were we blown out? Were we moving the ball? Were we missing multiple key players?
  15. Wait... so Miami is good now but not the 2 times we crushed them? KC wasn't really very good because they were missing a single player? Weren't we missing our best run blocking guard last night and our All-Pro CB? Weren't we missing a bunch of players vs. Indy and Jax? Have we been blown out in multiple games or was it just the one? Against the Titans and Pats, weren't we in position to score a go-ahead TD at the end of the game but for a banana peel slip and stone-hands Knox? The season isn't over and, respectfully, it's moronic to say that. We still play the Pats once and they have one more loss in the division. They have as much potential to lose another game outside of Buffalo's game against them so if the Bills were to beat the Pats and win their week 17 game vs. the Jets--do you expect otherwise?--we would hold any tiebreaker for the division. I'm irritated and frustrated about yesterday, but you aren't paying attention to the AFC or the NFL as a whole if you think the season is over.
  16. Everyone? Who is everyone? You? Next week's game is a warm weather game that plays to our strengths. I'm not absolutely convinced we win, but next week's game is very winnable. What a joke. You're basically choosing drafting a few positions higher to miss the playoffs. So stupid. If we end the year strong, get into the playoffs, and have some games where our offense looks more like it has in our wins than losses, Daboll is likely gone anyway because some stupid team will hire him as a Head Coach. That resolves half your post here, yet you want to lose and miss the playoffs in order to draft a few positions higher? So dumb.
  17. Colin Cowherd had a really great criticism of Sullivan on his show:
  18. Doesn't matter if you have more wins than the other teams vying for a playoff spot. Colts have 1 more loss and still play the Patriots (and probably want the Colts to win this...?), Cardinals and Raiders (and Jags) Steelers, Raiders and Browns have an absolute gauntlet. We're already 2 games up on Miami with tiebreaker. Throw away the despondent loser feelings... why don't we still seem a likely playoff team?
  19. Still pretty sure we make the playoffs. If you look at the game tonight Buffalo was the better team barring blown gap coverage on one running play, similar to TN. We have 5 losses. I think we lose 1 or 2 more and get into the WC spot at 11-6 or 10-7. And I genuinely think we're better on the road than at home if it's great weather on the road vs terrible weather at home.
  20. Well... I counter that you're an idiot for not seeing how horrible this team is playing in the elements.
  21. Buffalo is the #6 seed @LA, LV, or IND. KC or TN are the 7 seed. NE is somewhere in there All good weather or dome games. Win and play one of the other 2 teams on the road after they win their round 1 game. Win and play the remaining team on the road after they win 2 playoff games. 3 warm weather/dome games. That's what this team has demonstrated it needs, unfortunately. Super Bowl is guaranteed good weather... so we'd have a shot. I no longer think the 1st round bye is important to this team... at least not as much as good weather for GameDay. I still think we make the playoffs, but weather officially scares me.
  22. I will dismiss this as a drunk post, because it belies what Allen is and has been throughout his career. Coaches need to get better.
  23. As weird as it sounds Allen was pretty darn good in this game. Anyone who thinks this game takes him out of the MVP running is a moron. Blatant tropical storm force winds. At least 3 dropped passes including one that should've been a long TD. Constant horrible calls by refs. The one TO in the game by Breida, not him. Our idiot OC is doing more to take Allen out of the running than Allen himself. As others have said... next week and in New England. Show up and hope weather isn't a factor because our coaches aren't smart enough to account for weather
