McDermott weird comments about Josh Allen
transplantbillsfan replied to HappyDays's topic in The Stadium Wall
I bet we see more of an Allen-centric run game than we've seen all season against the Jets -

Many would say I'm one of the biggest Josh homers on this message board. Your prediction against this Jets defense is insane. -
He's there

Actually... between Watson and Burrow being out for the year, our door back into the playoffs is pretty open now. Before I didn't think there was a chance a 9-8 team would be a Wildcard. Very possible now. ... and also, when is the national media going to start criticizing Joe Burrow for being made of glass? Best ability is availability, right? Dude's been hurt somehow every season, yet it's Allen we need to worry about in terms of longevity?

McDermott weird comments about Josh Allen

I think that's absolutely a huge part of the firing. Someone has been telling Allen this "low positive" attitude and restraint from using his legs is critical. If McDermott's coming out and saying something like this, my guess would be Dorsey was a big part of that. Brady looks like the opposite so far, FWIW. -
I really, really don't think any AFC Wildcard team will be worse than 10-7 Was this a serious post or a joke? With your posts, it's really hard to tell. The saddest part of this post is that someone actually thought it was appropriate to give a reaction of "awesome" to it

It's that time for the playoff machine: https://www.espn.com/nfl/playoffs/machine FWIW I went through all the games for all the weeks and just picked the winners super quickly based on who I thought the favorite would be. There will be upsets... there always are. Picking the "favorites" for all the games (with the exception of Buffalo), Buffalo becomes the #7 seed going 5-2 with its only losses to Philly and KC.

TNF: Bengals vs Ravens - Who are we rooting for?

Ravens obviously. Bengals have the most losses in that division and would therefore be the team you want to keep losing. -
DORSEY FIRED, Joe Brady Interim OC

Dude... seriously? It's clear a lot of them have a very close, personal relationship with Dorsey... especially Allen. You wouldn't be sad if one of your close friends just had their life upended? -

Yep!! I've only gotten through less than 2 minutes of Joe Brady talking than Dorsey, but I already like him better. My bias I guess as an English teacher, but just so much more confident as a public speaker. I know Dorsey was super football smart, but his PCs were painful. -

Like posting on a message board of a team you stopped watching so you can spend time with your family? -
This is a pretty dominant topic in terms of Josh Allen for years now. The funny thing is, outside of that one play that Josh Allen has thrown 4 interceptions on this year, Allen's turnover worthy plays are actually incredibly low. And as for that one play... I hope sending Dorsey packing gets that play out of our playbook... or at least sets up Brady to mix in some trickery designed around that specific play.
