  1. Honestly, why the ***** do civilians go on Helicopters?!?!?! Living in Hawai'i there are Helicopter tours that crash frequently enough that I would encourage EVERYONE to stay away from those things.
  2. Main page for sure. Kobe is one of the 5-10 most recognizable sports icons IN THE WORLD!!! This is nuts.
  3. Just based off the very little I know about college football, I want Shenault. And I see he's apparently the only guy out GM has gone to visit/watch 4 times on his own.
  4. Obviously Soooo.... since recency matters... is he getting better or worse with that number? Not a fact. Completely subjective statement. Define this, please. Sure What does this even mean? I watched Carson Wentz and Tom Brady miss badly on wide open check downs and screens this year. Again, very subjective unless you compare him across the board. Plus, is he doing it more or less lately? 1) Most young QBs do 2) Most young QBs do 3) Agreed, but again, is this something he's gotten better or worse at recently? I swear to God if Allen has a 65% completion percentage next year some vapid poster trying to manipulate a narrative is going to come here and argue something like "well, he has a career completion percentage of less than 60%!" just for the sake of trolling.
  5. Total and utter crap bro. Go look into the storylines of these guys all the way back to High School. I'll start you on the path: multi sport athlete at a small town rural High School who didn't attend those QB camps like the Manning passing academy as many of these top prospects did and a wildly late bloomer, which seriously and negatively impacted his recruitment to colleges causing him to... well... I challenge you to objectively go back and research his story and come back to me other QBs like Lamar Jackson who was a 4 star recruit as a QB coming out of a High School that played nationally ranked teams and played in one of the 3 best conferences in the NCAA under one of the best coaches or Ryan Tannehill who was a 3 star recruit at QB coming out of High school and then played QB for a couple years (after playing WR) at one of the college football powerhouses. I know I'm a homer, but it's pretty rare to find a story like Allen's. Look it up. He is your Quarterback, afterall...
  6. Well, so would you trade Allen for Brady straight up today? And what about the fact that Goff and Wentz had a lower on target percentage than Allen?
  7. First of all... yes, for any QB to show their true potential the weapons around them should be about as good as they can be. Isn't that obvious? Aaron Rodgers, arguably the most talented QB in NFL history, has only won 1 Superbowl. Sooooo... what's held him back? Just look at Mahomes throwing to Cheetah, Kelce and Sammy with other talented guys surrounding him. And to top it off, he sat for a year under a very capable vet and has an offensive genius as a Head Coach. Those crying over the fact we passed over Mahomes are forgivable because of what he's doing in the league, but he also benefits from 2 Elite wideouts and the best Tight End in the NFL for the last few years along with a head coach who just knows how to call plays. As for Allen, I've come to terms that he won't likely ever put up those types of video game numbers, but regardless of how much he gets better at QB, I just doubt it will ever be a Sean McDermott type of game. We don't need 2 Elite WRs. All I want is a single upgrade with a big WR who can go up and ***** those one on one balls and I want Knox to improve this offseason in terms of catching the ball. Do those things along with a positional upgrade on OL and a complementary RB and I think Allen keeps getting better.
  8. Maybe it's actually Allen who elevated Brown and Beasley more than the other way around. Maybe those guys were upgrades, but along with believing "Allen's not there yet," the more relevant discussion relative to a young raw QB who's still improving is that the team isn't there yet. And what's that old cliche...? A Tight End is a young QB's best friend? Who was Allen's #1 Tight End and where did he rank in terms of drop rates?
  9. This post tells me a lot about you. You should try it.
  10. Assume? One can never assume anything. But Allen is the rawest prospect of any of those other QBs you posted, has more physical prowess than literally every other QB you listed, and seems to have more the heart/dedication AND ability to continue improving his game than several of the guys you posted... JP Losman
  11. And what's your point? Were they universally condemned? One of those guys is the GOAT. The other played in the Super Bowl last year. Another was the likely league MVP the year before if not for injury. Now... by contrast what's the narrative on Josh Allen, just a 2nd year QB who was probably one of the most raw prospects to come into the NFL out of college in the last few decades.
  12. Haven't looked through the rest of these pages, but I hope you've at least acknowledged that what you call "air yards" are not actually air yards... instead, they are yards from the LOS to the place the WR catches it. Air yards are just what they sound like... yards the ball travels in the air. So just as an example, when you see that pass to John Brown in the 2nd Patriots game, you can acknowledge that the pass actually travels from the 37 to the opposing 20, which is 43 air yards. And while he's being hit. And it's right on the money. And that that's damn impressive.
  13. In 2015 Brown was playing WR2 to Larry Fitzgerald who had 54 more receptions, 212 more yards and 2 more TDs. Fitz was still clearly still the #1. I mean I guess you can argue Beasley was the #1 WR in 2016 for the Cowgirls because he had the most targets and yards, but he was playing between Dez Bryant and Terrance Williams. Both still very effective WRs with Williams coming off his career year.
  14. For those struggling to find 30+ yard passes from Allen https://www.buffalobills.com/video/highlight-josh-allen-hits-dawson-knox-for-33-yard-completion 7:15 mark
  15. Which is what you can actually see if you watch the games. I don't know what exactly @jrober38 will do when he sees that Allen's on target percentage is better than the likes of Brady, Goff, and Wentz.
  16. https://www.pro-football-reference.com/years/2019/passing_advanced.htm 5 drops for Barkley 31 drops for Allen They did. 5 of them. Not good enough long term. But considering where he was last year, it's big progress. And there would be absolutely no reason to believe he couldn't make another big step with a full offseason the way he did year 1 to year 2.
  17. How about you do the same. You blatantly lied saying Allen only completed one pass that travelled 30 yards in the air and zero passes over 40 yards. You said that and have been proven not just a little wrong, but really wrong. Own it.
  18. This post tells me a lot about you. You don't watch the Bills much, do you? I got 4 deep passes off the top of my head: John Brown TD against Denver John Brown deep ball on Game Winning Drive in Pittsburgh Dawson Knox pass that was originally ruled a TD but moved to the 1 in NE John Brown TD in NE Well this just isn't right at all. Can you do math? 31 drops 461 attempts 271 completions I don't know what you mean by "eliminating drops," but I would assume you mean counting those drops as catches since the throws were on target. 271 + 31 = 302 302 / 461 = 65.5% Don't know where the hell you came up with 62%
  19. Matt Ryan wasn't dominant. Josh Allen lifted Wyoming as a team more than Matt Ryan lifted Boston College.
  20. Our 2 primetime games this year were basically Dallas on Thanksgiving and Pittsburgh on Sunday night. Both on the road. What's wrong with those performances?
  21. Funny... if Allen's weapons only had even a moderate amount of drops instead of the substantial amount they had this year, he would have already been above your criteria. You're probably wrong.
  22. Well, our biggest culprit was Dawson Knox by far. Raw rookie Tight End who didn't catch many passes at all in college. His drops make complete sense to me, which is why I'm so excited moving forward. Knox is the one who really tips the scale. The rest of the offensive weapons may just suffer from being a rung higher on the totem pole than they should be; Brown isn't a true #1 NFL WR... but he's a fantastic #2.
  23. Yes, there were multiple Knox drops in critical situations in critical areas of the field that sucked. If he can be more consistent catching the ball, he can be a BEAST for us for years.
  24. Can you direct our attention to 2 of those passes where a WR had to do the "toe tap" or "toe drag" this year? I can't remember any. Yes, 7 more passes dropped than the league average. 7 more catches and Allen's completion percentage is 60.3%. Yes Allen needs to get better moving forward, but look backward and pause for a minute and comprehend that where Allen is in year 2 is the kind of really significant progress that can give us all hope, and if he makes a similar step from year 2 to year 3, there will be genuine reason to start the Franchise QB talk and work to potentially lock him up long term next offseason.
