No. Not one. But I don't think they were wrong. The best players didn't exactly rise to the occasion today. San Francisco lost this game more than Kansas City won. Doesn't matter all that much. Reid finally gets his ring and Mahomes has won league MVP, Super Bowl MVP and has a Super Bowl ring all in his first couple years. I just think the latter 2 were less earned today than just given to him. Still can't believe how Shanahan handled the end of the 1st half.

Sooo... My wife and mother in law said they thought the Super Bowl was boring. They thought it looked like 2 mediocre football teams lacking in talent. Thought that was interesting, even if I don’t necessarily agree... though this was one of the worst games I’ve seen Mahomes play. I really think he benefited from the 49ers Billsy end to the 1st half. He almost had to get SB MVP by default since he played maybe slightly above average and everyone else was blah. Watkins might’ve deserved it actually. Happy for Andy Reid.

For the record, I loathe the designed QB runs. They scare me. But I think Allen will and should continue to scramble on passing plays when he sees fit. Of course we want him to do it mostly with his arm. But his legs are pretty clearly always going to be part of his game and are part of what makes him special. Russell Wilson ran for 342 yards and 3 TDs this year. I'm guessing that's the mould they're looking for Allen to follow.

People who think Allen will phase out running are delusional. Yes, Allen obviously needs to work on his passing game. That's separate from what he does and can do as a runner, which is to learn to slide and get out of bounds and get faster. And I think the myth that the running QB takes more vicious hits has been squashed already. Some of the worst hits he took were sitting in the pocket behind the LOS waiting to throw. I'm not overly concerned if he gets faster. I don't want him to lose weight, that's for sure. But rewatching some plays where he's pacing DBs makes me wonder how fast he really is. Is he the 2nd fastest QB in the NFL?

Josh Allen obviously isn't Lamar Jackson or Mike Vick in terms of speed specifically, but Allen was clocked in at a 4.75 at the Combine. Here's a list of QBs who ran faster than 4.75 at the combine: Derek Carr Blaine Gabbert Marcus Mariota Andrew Luck Mitchell Trubisky Ben Roethlisberger had the same time. I challenge folks to watch these 2 highlight videos and focus solely on his "breakaway runs." Personally, I see him running with and even outrunning DBs frequently. We all know Jerry Rice was clocked at 4.7 and that simply wasn't his game speed. His game speed was more like 4.5 or 4.4. So how about Josh once the pads go on? Does he look faster than any/all the guys mentioned above? What about Aaron Rodgers? What about Russell Wilson? And finally... can players train and get faster? Is it possible that's what actually happened between the Combine and the 2018 season or was it just "pajama speed" vs "pad speed?"

Yes. The timeline is VERY messy. -
No. Husband probably would've been pi$$ed at you if you did... in part because his wife would've given him extra $#it because you did it, not him.

Interesting... how disabled is he? Honestly I usually find that the physically disabled very much prefer to do almost everything on their own and when there are tasks they need help with, they don't keep going back to it unless necessary or at least have a plan of attack. How about this, I went to a manager in a movie theater because the woman next to me brought her 3 kids to a PG movie (Jumanji 2) and her 3 year old just wouldn't shut up and she wouldn't take her out! Manager came and kicked them out... am I a bad person? No. You're not a bad person. You're too good. You don't seem to belong here.

The Witcher is a stinker in a lot of ways, yet I've watched 5 episodes I think and I'll keep watching. -
The NIT years suck for Syracuse. I don't even watch that. I hope they sneak into the tourney to give me my sports fix through at least mid March

This team needs at least 20 wins, probably 21 wins to make the NCAA tournament... my opinion, of course. Who sees us making the tourney with our remaining schedule?

What's wrong with Michael Pittman as a prospect? -

Allen doesn't need a refined WR. What Allen needs is a big WR with good hands who will fight for the ball and will find ways to get open when plays break down and Allen moves from the pocket and looks to throw the ball. Allen isn't, at least at this point, a precise timing QB in the sense that he needs his WR to be at "X" spot at "Y" time. For a young QB, get a guy who can get open for him and he can get the ball to. Shenault sounds like one of the most exciting WRs in this draft, to me. -
PFF's QB Annual Report on Allen

The drop percentage is both disgusting and encouraging moving forward. Disgusting because they both had very high drop percentages and the 2 of them combined for nearly 20% of Allen's total passes this year. Encouraging because they're both rookies and I'll attribute the excessive dropsies to the rookie yips. I think both will be better moving forward. I'm particularly excited about Knox once he learns how to hold onto the football. -
I get very sad when the football season is over. I know they say January & February is the most depressing time of year for people overall because of the Holiday season just ending. I think it's because Football season comes to an often halting and heartbreaking end for all NFL fans, save those of one more team. Less than 7 months and counting til we get a taste of it again with the preseason...
