  1. Why suspicious? Neither of them really had a chance at this point and both were vocally and adamantly anti-Sanders. Them sacrificing their own futile Presidential runs for the sake of consolidating votes for Biden makes complete sense for them.
  2. He was the guy I liked most, but that doesn't mean I don't like other candidates. I like Klobuchar more than any other candidate still in the race, but I want Klobuchar to drop out ASAP. Do you really not understand how those 2 seemingly conflicting sentiments can coexist? Pete was really no different. The fact that he dropped out makes me like him even more as a potential future Presidential candidate.
  3. And all 3 would be better than President Cheeto Yeah, probably some worse alternatives than Trump. I actually think Pence would be worse. None of the Democratic candidates would, though.
  4. It's always been ABT anybody But TRUMP
  5. February is over. Anything worth seeing?
  6. Oh man... this post just wreaks of desperation with a nice little Ad Hominem thrown in at the end as the icing on the cake.
  7. Is that what Biden is doing? Running on being an academic? Follow along, please. And holy hell... did you just claim that Donald freaking Trump learned from all those tough experiences in his entitled upbringing as an heir to a fortune???
  8. Tuesday will be fun when you come and twist the narrative yet again pretending I'm saying Joe will win when the very post you just quoted from says otherwise... but you conveniently cut that part out in anticipation of what's to come
  9. Not according to you guys: 54 pages and counting? Yep. Must just be that he's boring
  10. You may be right, but same goes for the idiot in the White House.
  11. 4 contests in and it's already looking like a 2 person race between Biden and Sanders. Bloomberg is a massive stick in Biden's wheel, but does anyone honestly think if Bloomberg weren't in this that Biden wouldn't be the odds on favorite at this point to be the Democratic nominee and then President? Oh wait, I forgot where I was... I know how most of you would probably answer that question.
  12. Sooooo... South Carolina primary gets over 200,000 more votes than 2016 and very close to the same amount of votes as 2008... interesting... I think Bloomberg ultimately screws the Democratic race up though and gets Sanders nominated. Still, as I told @Deranged Rhino, the race for Biden didn't really start til South Carolina. What's going to be interesting to me on Tuesday is watching where the splintered votes go. Folks over here keep saying the Democratic party has gone uber liberal. If that's true, by the end of Super Tuesday the majority of the vote should be split between Warren and Sanders. If not, it's split between Biden, Bloomberg, Buttiguieg and Klobuchar. 4 vs 2. That's why Sanders is unfortunately on his way to likely becoming the democratic nominee. Here's to hoping a couple other moderates drop out like Steyer did tonight.
  13. Fascinated by the lack of conversation in here in contrast to the previous 3 contests. Wonder why that is?
  14. What if we lose the division and win the Super Bowl?
  15. I admit I haven't heard of this guy before the last few days. Can anyone tell me why, other than the obvious of me not being remotely interested in College Football until draft season rolls around? I'm guessing there was bad QB play at ND that has kept him under the radar? But even then I feel like there have been years with prospects coming out of the draft without great production but obvious 1st round talent. Obviously Josh Allen at QB is one of those guys. So why the lack of 1st round chatter about Claypool? Does he have issues with drops? Does he get hurt a lot?Is he a terrible route runner? Is his play speed significantly slower than his combine speed? Why? Just trying to understand because those Combine numbers truly are freakish and his Senior year numbers look decent enough that I feel like he should have been more in the chatter if he just had a bad QB at Notre Dame.
  16. Regarding the 1st 2, obviously Lamb and Watkins are different players, but they're both Wide Receivers. They very much have to do with each other in that respect. Watkins was without a doubt the #1 WR prospect at the time of that draft--and again, this is without the benefit of hindsight. Watkins was viewed as a surefire top 10 draft pick. As much as we complain about the pick now, you were in an EXTREME minority if you were adamantly complaining on going up and getting him. The insanely vast majority believed Watkins was one of those rare generational WRs you go up and get. Lamb is not viewed in the same light. I'm not saying he won't be, but that's certainly not the overwhelming consensus on him the way it was with Sammy. Are we trading up a few spots to get Lamb and giving up lower round picks? I'm fine with that. I highly, HIGHLY doubt Beane would even consider giving up a 1st next year to go up and get Lamb or Jeudy. Where are we drafting next year? The better question to ask would be what's going to happen with our current players and our CAP situation? We have a ton of CAP space this offseason and next offseason, but we also have a ton of players we're probably hoping will be worthy of resigning for big money: White, Dawkins, Milano, Poyer, Edmunds, Allen... Without a 1st round pick in any given year, you're sacrificing a player who is supposed to be an impact starter on your team. And so far Beane seems to draft well. Rather than dismissing a pick in the bottom of the first round, think about where we drafted Tredavious White. So giving up that pick anywhere in the 1st round for any position other than QB--which we (hopefully) already have--seems like a bad gamble.
  17. I didn't know for sure if you were, that was why I asked the question first. My bad. I agree with you in terms of bias towards premium positions. To me I just think DE/Edge Rusher is more likely in the 1st with WR in the 2nd than anything.
  18. Really? You want a repeat of the Sammy Watkins debacle? For as much as hindsight might be 20/20, Watkins was viewed as generational talent.
  19. Never even heard of the guy... but damn does this have me intrigued.
  20. I think it's actually quite likely we wait til round 2 or 3 for WR. DE/Edge Rusher might actually be a bigger need for us as the draft rolls around.
  21. Aren't you a big BPA guy? Why would you consider drafting a guy at 22 who clearly wouldn't be BPA?
  22. Might as well throw a flashback in here:
