  1. That was actually a super fun game to watch. Glad I did and glad the Jets lost.
  2. Hey we've got a real scheduling issue on our hands in a couple weeks here with a YUUUUGE home, primetime night game airing concurrently with the 2nd Presidential debate. So which of the 2 are you watching live and which are going to (I assume) watch a reairing later? Or will you watch one but not the other? I will say I'm fortunate living in Hawaii in terms of the time difference because with live things that air in primetime on the East Coast, we get those events aired a 2nd time at night since we're 6 hours behind the East Coast. I will watch both. But I will watch the Bills game live. I view it as our most pivotal game in years. I ain't missing that. That does also mean I will be very drunk by the time I watch the Presidential debate in the evening... That could be interesting. 🙄
  3. https://theathletic.com/2100939/2020/09/29/final-thoughts-10-things-we-learned-from-the-bills-win-over-the-rams?source=user-shared-article It’s time for your weekly update on Josh Allen’s downfield passing. It was a big conversation last year when he was struggling, so it’s only right we harp on it now that he’s turning things around in year three. Allen is now 18-for-24 passing for 489 yards, two touchdowns and an interception on passes that travel 15 yards or more in the air. He has more completions and yards and a better completion percentage on those passes than any other quarterback in the NFL through the Sunday afternoon games in Week 3. Allen has also only been pressured on 4.2 percent of his pass attempts that travel 15 yards or more in the air, by far the lowest rate in the league. And 41.7 percent of those attempts have been off of play action. So Allen is getting the protection and smart scheming necessary to make plays down the field, and he’s putting the throws on the money.
  4. Allen was a relatively short, skinny multi sport athlete in High School at a rural unknown High School who grew physically late into himself. He really wasn't recruited, so he then had to really learn the game at a JuCo followed by low level D1 Wyoming. Plenty of mistakes along the way learning the game. That's why.
  5. https://www.politico.com/news/2020/09/30/joe-biden-debate-fundraising-423826 Biden smashes fundraising records during chaotic debate From 9 p.m. to midnight, the Biden campaign brought in nearly $10 million from 215,000 donors, including more than 60,000 new contributors to the campaign, according to a Biden campaign official. Nearly 100,000 signed up to volunteer for the Biden campaign during the debate, as well. Tuesday night's fundraising totals come as Biden has outraised and outspent Trump, surpassing the president in cash by $141 million, according to Federal Elections Commission filings released earlier this month. In August, Biden raised a record-shattering $365 million, topping Trump's total by $154 million.
  6. What is there to comment on? Why would I bother going down the conspiracy rabbit hole with you when you dismiss virtually everything reported about Trump that's negative (Military as "losers" and "suckers," his tax returns, him openly admitting he lies to the American public via taped recordings, etc.) because you believe everything reported in MSM is false. You're a loser and a bully who deflects from real issues, like Trump. And much like Trump, when you lose, you will try to find a way to wiggle your way out of losing. I'll be shocked if you actually just say "I was wrong" and then abide by the terms of the bet without switching usernames. You will have your chance to prove me wrong in just over a month. I genuinely hope you do.
  7. Grasping at straws I see. How far you've fallen. Oh wait, am I not abiding by your new rules at PPP by just popping briefly in like this????
  8. After that debacle of a debate for Trump yesterday, I really can't believe anyone here legitimately thinks the guy will win a free and fair election. And I mean that. I really can't believe it. Because despite my differences with many posters over here, I believe many of those same posters are intelligent. They're just wildly misinformed. I've been reading here for months about how once the debates started it would change everything for Trump. It probably did. It sealed Trump losing the election... and me winning a bt. @Deranged Rhino apparently you redid the bet where I can now change your avatar at will over the next 4 years. Thanks for that
  9. Access perhaps but didn't investigate for fear of being fired. Weissman himself has come out and complained they weren't allowed the path to investigate this.
  10. I just want to emphasize the amazingness of this post. This is just how desperate Trump is. And it's just how blind the Trump cult is. It's a statement that tacitly acknowledges that Trump can't win the popular vote while simultaneously believing Trump can't lose the election unless it's "rigged." Just incredible.
  11. It hasn't mattered??? He keeps winning??? Are you living in an alternate reality where President Trump has already won a 2nd term??? Donald Trump won the 2016 election. If somehow that equals "he keeps winning" to you... well... One of the most disgusting and pathetic moments of the debate. It's probably going to be in an ad tomorrow.
  12. Yikes!!! The only people thinking that was good for Trump are his cult.... I'd imagine there's about 32 pages so far of people here singing his praises claiming this actually helped him.
  13. Bass might end up being great. But the FACT right now is that our kicker is 60% on Field Goals and he hasn't kicked one outside 40 yards, yet. In NFL terms that means he's 60% on gimme kicks. He missed one. He "made" one he was credited for missing--we think. And another one was still pushing right. Yes, he socks right now. Once he splits the uprights a few times from 40+ yards, I'll feel better about him.
  14. He's 3/5 and you're singing his praises
  15. Oooohhh I TOTALLY forgot about that spin move!!! Thanks for the reminder!
  16. Sorry if posted here but SI covered this yesterday and it made me giggle: https://www.si.com/.amp/nfl/2020/09/27/week-3-takeaways-josh-allen-wild-ride-foles-in-trubisky-out-falcons-blow-it-again Josh Allen Is the World's Wildest Roller Coaster: Allen’s afternoon included four passing touchdowns, one rushing touchdown, a reckless jump-ball prayer with a 25-point lead that was completed ... but was incorrectly ruled an interception (there was also an offensive pass interference flag). There was another lost fumble, the rare quarterback facemask penalty committed as he used one pass rusher as a human shield to block another pass rusher. And he had another late lateral to an unsuspecting teammate—that teammate was unsuspecting because no reasonable person would ever attempt such a lateral (the ball rolled safely out of bounds). Anyway, the Bills defeated the Rams in a football game, by three points.
  17. And it's all Allen because our RBs haven't scored a TD rushing and our rookie FG kicker socks right now.
  18. good stuff I don't think that OPI call is as clear as you think it was. But honestly I don't care because the game swinging Interception was ABSOLUTELY NOT an interception. It's just karma.
  19. Agreed. Allen has always been a road warrior. He actually seems to feel more pressure playing at home.
  20. https://theathletic.com/2097241/2020/09/27/hes-just-a-baller-josh-allen-delivers-again-in-bills-dramatic-win-over-rams?source=user-shared-article ‘He’s just a baller’: Josh Allen delivers again in Bills’ dramatic win over Rams Josh Allen and Cole Beasley have talked a lot about the play that led to the improbable third-and-22 conversion in the Bills’ helter-skelter 35-32 win over the Rams on Sunday. They never talked about it happening like this, in a game in which the Bills had already blown a 28-3 lead in the second half and needed to pull a touchdown out of their hindquarters to avoid going into the record books for the worst collapse in franchise history. Yet there they were, facing third-and-22. At that point, the Rams had an 83.9 percent chance of winning, according to ESPN’s win probability metrics. Those metrics didn’t account for Allen’s ability to turn the unlikely into the routine. As Allen dropped back, the Rams couldn’t get into the backfield to apply pressure, allowing Allen to scan the field and drift right. After the game, he described the play as backyard football at that point. But he knew all too well the route Beasley was running. Last year in the season opener against the Jets, Allen missed Beasley on that route. Allen thought one thing, Beasley thought another. A year together can make a lot of difference. Because this time, Allen put the ball on the screws with accuracy and timing. ... And Kroft: “I can’t say enough about 1-7. He’s competitive as hell. He’s going to make sure we’re in position to win. You see it out there. He’s trying to stiff-arm four dudes and still throw the ball. He’s a competitive guy and he’s going to put us in position to win every time.” After not having a single 300-yard passing game in his first two NFL seasons, Allen now has three straight 300-yard games to start the season. He’s thrown for 1,038 yards through three weeks. Only 16 times has a quarterback thrown for more yards in the first three weeks of a season than Allen has in 2020. He’s one of only 14 quarterbacks in history to throw for at least 10 touchdowns in the first three weeks of the season, and he has two rushing touchdowns on top of that. His start is eerily similar to Jim Kelly’s start for the Bills in 1991. Kelly in 1991: 87-for-119 passing for 1,019 yards, 10 touchdowns, four interceptions Allen in 2020: 81-for-114 passing for 1,038 yards, 10 touchdowns, one interception, three lost fumbles
  21. I just thought this was funny https://www.si.com/.amp/nfl/2020/09/27/week-3-takeaways-josh-allen-wild-ride-foles-in-trubisky-out-falcons-blow-it-again Josh Allen Is the World's Wildest Roller Coaster: Allen’s afternoon included four passing touchdowns, one rushing touchdown, a reckless jump-ball prayer with a 25-point lead that was completed ... but was incorrectly ruled an interception (there was also an offensive pass interference flag). 22. Touche. Saw it updated as 124.8. Guess those Passer Rating calculators aren't all equally reliable.
