NFL Sunday Ticket 2020
transplantbillsfan replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Sister-in-law still has a college email that works... $100 for the season without having to convert to DirecTV... -
Trump better get himself within 3% nationally if he wants a shot at this election. It's absolutely amazing to say that for an incumbent who's currently a longshot to get reelected... The election is T-minus 2 months exactly and I keep hearing Trump is going to close the gap but it's just not happening. Cue the "bu... bu.. bu.. but 2016!!!" crowd in 3... 2... 1...

Duke should definitely be part of the WR's this year

I doubt he makes the team. He might be on the expanded Practice Squad though. Big Duke fan... we just have too much WR depth... for once. -

I'm confused. I thought yesterday was the last day of media coverage for practice until the regular season. -

NFL Sunday Ticket 2020

I think you're right. My sister-in-law sent me a screenshot of what she saw when she typed in her school email and it's $24.99 per month for 4 months. Do you or anyone else know who's used the NFL Sunday Ticket U? My only concern is what devices are supported. In the description it says "watch on your compatible tablet, smartphone, laptop, or connected device like a game console." There's a link at the bottom of "Supported Devices" but since I only got a screen shot from my sister-in-law I don't know what those are. I have a Samsung Smart TV. It's not a device so I'm guessing it wouldn't be supported. But the TV has an Internet Browser. Anyone know if that would work because the platform thinks it's a laptop? I don't think my 1st generation Roku would work. Would a Chromecast work? Anyone know? If I can't put it on my big screen TV, I don't want it. -
The Next Pandemic: SARS-CoV-2/COVID-19
transplantbillsfan replied to Hedge's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
Idiot. Thanks for a great example of why I hate PPP. You're wildly misinformed and love to distort the facts. Everyone has always known people dying are typically those with underlying conditions. This, however, doesn't mean these people are dying with or without Covid. It means there are underlying conditions that are toxic as it relates to Covid being introduced. Those dying over the last 6 months from Covid who also had diabetes are dying because Covid was thrown into the mix with a disease many were managing aren't asterisks in your sickening tally because, like Trump, you want the numbers to look good. Stop shaming people with underlying conditions. Asthma is one of those underlying conditions. More Americans probably have them than you'd think. 10,000 perfectly healthy people with no underlying conditions died from this in the last 6 months. Scary. -
The Next Pandemic: SARS-CoV-2/COVID-19

Trump needs to take his goddamn job seriously for the few remaining months he's in office. Top 6 Covid cases per capita all include states Trump needs for his own reelection purposes, which is the only thing that really motivates him other than money: Louisiana Florida Arizona Mississippi Alabama Georgia These are all places a Republican nominee should pretty easily win, but Donald Trump keeps shooting himself in the foot out of pure neglect. -
Look at that wild Trump enthusiasm ? And just in anticipation... The AP could find no evidence for the 128.4 million figure cited in the post, which is six times greater than the figure listed for the DNC. A headline in The Hill did announce, “First night of GOP convention delivers nearly six times more views than start of Democrats’ event on C-SPAN live stream.” The article only referred to online C-SPAN views, which were 440,000 on the opening day of the RNC, compared to 76,000 for the DNC. Those numbers represent a small fraction of the millions of viewers who watched the conventions across multiple networks and platforms. It is possible that the 128.4 million figure in the post was generated by taking 21.4 million, which was a preliminary Nielsen estimate for the third night of the DNC, and multiplying it by six, based on a misunderstanding of the headlines about the C-SPAN numbers.

Whoa. Going with a rookie kicker makes me nervous but Hauschka hasn't been right since that injury a couple years ago.

Favorite Bills Season of the Past Decade

Anyone not saying the year we made the playoffs is under 25 or needs to slap themselves upside the head. -
The real question is will these 2 reporters be allowed back into a Bills practice after tweeting all this insider information.

Hang on can someone explain to me the college email thing as it relates to DTV? I believe both my wife's sister and brother-in-law have edu emails because they're finishing up school. So they can get it streaming? -
I wasn't the one who brought them up. @Deranged Rhino did because he's absolutely obsessed with polls despite clamoring he's not. The truth is he's just been upset for so long that he's going to lose our bet that he wants to use any teeny tiny thing he can get to pretend this is still a competitive bet. 2016 was then. Trump eeked out an election by about 70,000 critical votes in 3 states, none of which he's actually been leading in with polls for the battleground states. This is 2020. 180,000+ people have died in 6 months. Our economy is in a deep recession on its way to a depression potentially as places across the country are having to lock down again. There's massive civil unrest that, among other things, may have just ended the NBA season. I won't even ask you if you really think Trump will win. It's clear you do. So what do you--clearly a Trump supporter--think the odds are of Trump winning? 52-48? 55-45? 60-40?

Posting this because school started. We postponed 10 days from a planned "hybrid model" in favor of full Distance Learning through September 11th. School started one week ago. Since then I've had 1 student email me that she and her Mom have Covid. Another student emailed me that he's quarantined because his Dad has Covid. These are unprompted emails. I didn't ask them to inform me. These students wanted to let me know in case they fall behind. I have 100% of students with DL access after a week of reaching out to make sure. Being a good online teacher is an arduous task. Any teacher who tells you it's easy isn't doing it right. I'd rather be back in the classroom full time, but it's not safe right now for students, students' families or teachers in many, many places around the country.
